We were sat at table by a much larger party (12 versus 2) and basically were forgotten by our server, Ashley. The food was great when it arrived, but only after the larger table was served. They took so long to eat their appetizers that we waited over 25 minutes to receive our entrees (of course after the other table had theirs).
Our interactions with Ashley really occurred only after she took care of the bigger tables (she picked up a table of 4 a little bit later). She was so rushed to serve the other tables that she would ask a question about the meal, then answer it as she tried to serve the others.
She showed up after our hot plates were set on the table, touched by my wife who didn’t know they were hot & then warned us not to touch them (a little late since my wife already had burned herself).
She nor any if the other wait staff asked us for water during our dinner. We has to request it
For the money spent & caliber of the restaurant we expected to receive the same level of service as the other larger tables. Unfortunately this was not our experience! Beware.
Every year I cash in my work travel miles for gift cards to Ruth Chris. It’s always a special occasion for us to dine here, because I went many miles to get to! Food was fantastic! We always order the calamari but this time we went for the seafood tower. Oh my gosh! It was amazing!! We are still talking about it! Our waiter was amazing and was so nice and informative. He has a wonder disposition. There was another waiter next to our section that we were so thankful was not ours as she had a terrible attitude! It was written all over her face. We will definitely be back next year, hopefully sooner!!
I am a regular customer and lately it’s has not been up to standards. Something has changed in the kitchen, and not for the best. My neighbors say the same thing. Not consistent. I was last table on Xmas day and my fries were cold. Plate did not come out sizzling hot as always before. Very disappointed......
We love Ruth Chris we have been in a Ruth Chris in over 10 states. Several states more than once. The bar service and bartenders, happy hour and cocktails have always been exceptional everywhere we have been. This is the first time we sat in the dining room. We thought we should since it was Christmas Day. We never will again. The service was awful. It took us three hours to have a one hour dinner. They weren’t even busy. We were there an hour before we received our Caesar Salads. I wish we would have stayed in the lounge. The bartender treated us like royalty. We had a ball at the bar with him. Thank you Francisco for making these two old girls happy on Christmas Day. We loved talking football with you. You are an amazing bartender. People like you are why we will go back to Ruth Chris. But only to the lounge. Ruth hires the most amazing bartenders. Thank you. Merry Christmas
Ruth"s Chris is one of my favored Steakhouses, the service is top notch, the food is excellent the way they cook steaks is unique, flavor, quality is best a vine list affordable and I would like to mention our server Julio he is an excellent waitress very cordial and professional

We waited for over an hour for the entries after we ate the salad even though we made it very clear from the minute we sat at the table that we had to be out of there by 7:30. The excuse for the extremely long wait was the kitchen’s priority was the larger tables. They brought the food as we were getting ready to leave then we had to eat very quickly and not enjoy the food because we had to leave by 7:30. The food arrived at 7:15
We always have a great experience at Ruth Chris. Our server, David, was excellent and the ambiance was inviting, not stuffy - which it can be. But we did have a later reservation so maybe that’s why. It wasn’t packed and we were seated quickly and attended to immediately.
Something is wrong or has definitely changed. Food quality and taste are NOT the same.
Appetizers come out warm. Steaks NOT on sizzling plates. Steaks not cooked to perfection either. Medium is pink in Center not rare or raw. Shoestring fries cold. I never understood why corporate changed their bread pudding!!! That is “Ruth” signature desserts.. she would be devastated. Why would you get rid of 1 of the highest selling desserts? I’m sure desserts sells have gone down!!!what a disappointment!! Don’t change what isn’t broken.....corporate should stay in corporate offices.
