Very nice and welcoming restaurant. We didn't wait at all to be seated and we went on a Saturday night. The food was delicious and the staff was really nice and friendly.

We are frequent diners at this location...this particular time the service was poor and the food was as well...it took over 35 minutes to get our dinner (we ordered from the Ruth's Chris classic, 6oz and lobster tail/stuffed chicken) we were told that the chicken takes longer...terrible excuse... a couple sitting beside up came in after us and got their food before us and a couple that came in after them got their food the same time we did...I have never experienced that dining there. I purchased the 6oz and lobster (medium well) my steak was damn near well done and when i ate one half and continuing to eat the other it was full of FAT (little fat balls that looked nasty because there were so many of them) I was praying that I wouldn't get sick...yuk...i also tried the crab fried rice as my side and it was sticky and lumpy....my husband had to send his lobster bisque back as it was cold...not sure I want to visit or recommend after this service...IT WAS THE WORST.

Initial service was terrible, but after notifying the manager service improved. One of our guest had to wait 20 minutes for a margarita.

Went for a celebration, loved the quietness of the restaurant. The rib eye steak was tender and well portioned. Side dishes are great especially the cream spinach and mash potatoes. Service was top notched, would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I was warned that the food would be expensive but in my opinion it was well worth it. I had the best filet I had ever eaten and I have tried many! The wine list was phenomenal. Last but not least, the wait staff is outstanding. We never had to ask for anything.

The air conditioner in the restaurant was not working properly on a humid, 90 degree day in Washington, DC. We really like the restaurant and the service was good, but it was not a great experience trying to eat hot steaks in a hot restaurant.

Max is my new favorite among many here at Ruth's. The classics never fail and neither does the excellent staff. Ps, don't forget the valet is the best in town.

Terrific as always. The Ruth's Classics special is always great, and a wonderful deal. I really liked the BLT salad. Ribeye was cooked to perfection.

Casey and ERiS! What else and who else do you need? The Ruth's classic offering was a perfect ribeye, corn, and steak salad. I got a substitute dessert of their cheese cake to give to our front desk lady. To say it was enjoyed would be an understatement.

This was our first time at a Ruth's Chris and we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding. Beyond that the real difference was our server, Benji. He made our night! He made great recommendations, especially the molten chocolate dessert! Benji was responsive throughout our meal and he was very engaging and entertaining (in a way that was totally appropriate for the setting). Thank you, Benji!

I have never been to a Ruth Chris restaurant that had as bad of service as my colleague and I experienced. It was so bad that I sent a message to my friend that works at a Flemings to share with him my awful experience. We arrived about 10 minutes early and instead of waiting, we opted to sit at a table in the bar. The bar has zero ambiance. The tables and chairs reminded me of perhaps a banquet set up at a hotel. After about 10 minutes, someone finally greeted us and asked us if we'd like drinks. I ordered wine and my colleague had a Hendricks on the rocks. Despite the fact that we were sitting right next to the bar, drinks seemed to take forever. So, we ordered a seafood tower. The tower arrived and there were no plates to put any of the shells on. So, we threw the shells on the table. No one seemed to care. Our dinners arrived on tiny plates. I ordered 2 lobster tails and my colleague had the sea bass. There was no lemon or anything that came with the meals. The sides that we ordered were mediocre. Au Gratin Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts. They were not hot. We ordered more drinks from someone else because our waitress never came back to the table. Then, we had four friends arrive to join us and they wanted drinks. They went up to the bar to get drinks because no one came to our table. My colleague and I ordered another drink from someone else again and had to go to the bar to get it. Then, when we were ready to go, we had to go to the bar to ask for our check. We never saw our waitress again. The service was bad. The food wasn't worth the money. The entire experience in this particular Ruth Chris completely sucked. I dine out all of the time and this was by far some of the worst service I have ever received. I did leave a tip, out of courtesy only, but it totally was not worth it. I'd never dine here ever again. I am sorry that we chose this Ruth Chris. We should have gone to Del Friscos.

We came here for a birthday dinner before a caps game, we were a little rushed but accommodated in our time crunch very well, my steak however was very over done. The last place I expect to get a poorly cooked steak is a steak house of this caliber.

My Mom & I go there frequently & the entire experience is always enjoyable & I usually rate 5 stars for everything. I love the lamb- it's ALWAYS perfect and my mom usually gets the Sea bass -which she thought was absolutely delicious. The seating hostess and the bread guy was super pleasant. However our table hostess this time - unlike EVERY OTHER time was less than desirable. Not egregious but not great and border line rude. She was efficient but we felt she didn't go out of her way to be pleasant or helpful. We found her very short and course -she smiled but that was overshadowed by the sternness in her voice and the impatient manner in which she would always suggest after literally 5 seconds that maybe she should come back "when we've decided" and we felt rushed. My mom (a nondrinker) was having difficulty deciding her beverage...after literally about 6 seconds the hostess suggested that she'd come back. Then When I was deciding on my wine choice I couldn't remember what I ordered the last time I was there and I knew the one I was asking for I hadn't had before -so after 2 to 3 seconds - again she suggested she'd come back. This time I said no & I asked to try it first - I didn't like it and tried another, thankfully I liked the next one because she didn't bring out a tester serving but a full glass. And it went on like this for the rest of the dinner. My mom felt the tension so much that she wouldn't even ask for anything else so as to not infringe on this hostesses time. Which is how we both felt. So now I'm slightly annoyed because my Mother is feeling uncomfortable so I have no problem asking for what we need and do so. I almost could understand if the restaurant was extremely crowded but it was not and she didn't seem to have a problem spending SEVERAL minutes at a time with the table adjacent to us. 1st time but not happy at all about this experience & when I come again if I'm seated in her section I will ask for another hostess.

As always, the food was good... especially the steaks. Wrong veggie was brought to the table. By the time the correct replacement arrived we were almost done with our steaks. No apology or offer to comp.

Wine list is good. Roth cab complemented our steaks nicely after it was opened and breathed a bit.

Service got a little slow as other diners arrived. It was obvious ( we had on hockey shirts) that we were going to a 7:00pm hockey game. Waitress should know that hockey shirts mean attending game and the time it starts. The valet knows the times! We missed the first period.

The best thing about this Ruths is the proximity to Verizon Center. Food next. Then the valet ( he's awesome). Service is always a little weak.
