Today was not a good day @ Ruth Chris. Order came out wrong, Tab was wrong, only 4 people in the restaurant and had to wait over 20minutes. Food didn't taste all that good today. Out of product and didn't tell me about the up charge before they was out of potatoes 😢 this is one day a burger would of been better and much cheaper

The food just wasn’t what I expected. My bill for 2 people was $121 and the tip was $20- which is what I figured it to be- but my food was bought to me cold while his was piping hot. Then the size of my portion was small- they tried to correct it with another dish which was horrible... it was just a waste of my money. The only thing we enjoyed were the baked potatoes. They tried to make it right but acted as if they were irritated for doing so. The steak they recommended for Terry he said was mediocre. He would have rather had a $5 burger from across the street. VERY DISSATISFIED!!!

The server was great. But it seemed that the kitchen may have been backed up. We had to flag a server for more drinks. We came because it was my husband’s 71st birthday and he loves steak. He and one friend thought the flavor of the steaks as mediocre. Sorry. We have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed.

Despite having a reservation we had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Food was good but not spectacular. Price was more expensive than similar places in town. Restaurant was very loud and noisy. I'll have to pass on returning.

The service and quality/flavor of the food has really gone down over the years. Not impressed with the presentation or quality at all, $300 dinner I could have easily made at home. No thanks!

I have eaten at Ruth Chris in Columbia many times and this time did not disappoint. The service was great the food superb and the ambience was conducive to my business dinner. I would recommend to everyone .

we have dined at your resturant as many as 10 times in this past year but never had an experience like this.
1. i had a reservation @ 8pm but didnt get seated till almost 9
2. went to the bar waited for service there for about 15minn and was totalely ingorned, when a Bar tender finaly made eye contact with me. I said hello as did he then he walked away with no service.
3. when we finally sat down our waitress asked us if we would like a cocktail and that process took almost 20 minn
4 we statred with 4 apps that were ok but we also ordered a salad to split but when we asked our server to split it for us she acted as if it was too much bother and handed us a second plate
the rest of our meal was ok but to be honest the experience was so poor we just couldnt wait to leave with out our usual after dinner drinks or dessert

Good food and atmosphere. Placed reservations 2 months ahead of time and had to wait 25 minutes for a table.

It as very crowded on the Saturday night we were there because of a dance competition in town. Meal and service were not as good as usual.

Very disappointed. My steak was dry and my husband whom got the tomahawk steak had absolutely no taste.

Pros - friendly server, food & drinks were good.

Cons - 15 minute wait for our table (with a reservation), moderate wait time for food to be served after ordering, food presentation was lack-luster.

Just ok. Had a reservation. Waited for about 10 minutes for table. Service was just ok. Really busy when we arrived but cleared as we ate. Noise level also went down.

Expensive but knew that. Overall just ok. Nothing special so I rated value lower since prices were high .

Read many reviews and was skeptical. Should have listened.
For the $$ I have had better honestly. Food was ok, service was ok, server was very nice. Ordered salad but had to ask once my meal arrived cuz salad didnt arrive. Plate presentation lacked immensely and no real attention to detail

The service was great! However, this was the 3rd time in a row my “medium” filet has come to the table well done. My wife, daughter and I all ordered our 8 oz filets medium and all 3 came out cooked differently. Mine was well done, my daughter’s was actually medium and my wife’s was rare. Very upsetting for that price. Will not go to another Ruth’s Chris again. Very glad there is now a Hall’s Chop House in Columbia!!! Nothing but great reviews for Halls Chop House!! How do you cook the same steak, ordered the same way, 3 different ways.?? That tells me the chef either is not a true culinary chef or he/she does not care about the end product, because they are not eating it or paying for it! Just awful! Get a chef that actually cares about the product he/she is sending out!!

Best steak we have ever eaten. Went for a nice date night with my hubby. Not sure it was worth the $$$$. There is a dress code that states no gym wear but several people were in full sweat suits. Still, a very nice meal.

Had to wait 20 minutes even with reservations and there were available tables. Music was absurd for a high end steakhouse (Lizzo,Drake,Travis Scott) playing too loud. Wrong entree was presented and took way too long to correct. Located in a hotel and felt like just another ballroom. Very disappointed.

Steak we each had were perfect. $43 per steak...... well it was about the best filet i ever had. The hostess ..... well all at the front greeting us great. Our server had a fake smile and ask if it was our first time. She was the main let down. I had to ask, does a potato or anything come with steak. For the price she didnt do the best job. Food and drinks perfect. Special occasion so $165 alright once or twice a year. The music did NOT go at all with atmosphere. I would all around give it 4 stars

My first experience at Ruth's Chris was overall pretty good. The food was amazing and I loved the ambiance. Our waiter did forget my cocktail but it ended up getting it on the house. We were seated near the kitchen so every 30 seconds someone was yelling "CORNER". We made jokes but I'm sure someone with little patience would have been easily aggravated by it.

Trying Ruth Chris was like a “bucket list” thing for me and I’m so glad I did. My steak could have been....a little better. But I loved my wine selection as well as the calamari and lobster Mac & cheese (TO DIE FOR!!). Service was phenomenal and everyone was so nice! Loved it.
