Enjoyed the Thanksgiving dinner, but wish you still gave out the doggie bags to take home for later.
We waited 5 minutes just to be met at the door and that was with someone going to bar to ask if anyone was going to seat us
Restaurant was cold. Wife and daughter kept their coats on
Wife ordered a crusted filet. When she got her food, it was just a plain filet and the waitress said the crust would come separately in a few minutes??
We were there to celebrate daughters engagement. Thought maybe they'd get a free dessert or something.
On positive note, steaks were very flavorful
Great experience in the city of Cincinnati. Parking closeby.
Our evening at Ruth’s Chris was nothing short of amazing. Service was attentive but not intrusive and food quality was top notch. It was a special occasion for us, and the staff made it seem that way. We will be back.
Great service from everyone!!! Food was fantastic!!!!
It was great!
My wife and I ALWAYS enjoy going to Ruth's Chris. The food is excellent in our opinion. My wife loves the steaks (filet) and I thoroughly enjoy the stuffed chicken. Whenever we travel, we try to locate a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
Food and service were ok, I had the Lobster bisque and didn’t care for it. It had too much of a sherry taste and seemed like it tasted burned. We both had the petite filet. It was ok but not much flavor to it. Overall, it was ok but nothing special.
Service and food were amazing as always.
It was very mediocre. The service was a mess. They forgot to ask for our drink order. They forgot to bring a salad for my father. So many people involved and none really responsible. We had to ask to have water filled. For such a great brand this was a very poor experience. The steaks were good as always, but my mother was disappointed that there was no salmon on the menu. She got stuffed chicken and it was just ok. There are a dozen steakhouses in Cincinnati that have service and food that is 10 times better. That will be our last trip to Ruth's Chris in cinci
As always, Ruth's Chris delivers a great steak experience. In my travels I have tried many of the big name steak restaurants, but keep coming back to Ruth's Chris for consistently excellent beef prepared perfectly with a proper atmosphere. Cincinnati location delivered as expected!
My food was very good. The crab stack (lump bluefin crab, mango, cucumber and avocado) is awesome --you definitely need to try it. I also recommend the roasted brussel sprouts and Lyonnaise potatoes. My steak was perfectly done and my wife's sea bass was delicious. Service was efficient without being obtrusive. When I go out for an upscale dining experience, however I'd rather not be sitting next to "bro dude" with the ripped jeans, untucked wrinkled shirt and his "chicka" drinking beer out of a bottle. There were also other tables with patrons whose casual dress is probably more suitable for a "2 for $20" Tuesday special than Saturday night at Ruth's Chris.
My daughter was happy great location for 21st Birthday dinner
This is second time I've eaten here and both times were bad!!! Steak overdone, potatoes raw and service slow. Sorry, not worth it!!
Service was the worst I have ever had in a fine dining restaurant. Our waiter was pouring water and picking up dishes which slowed him from getting us bread, our drinks, etc. I was so disappointed, I found manager because I felt like there must have been some system issues and didn't want to stiff our waiter. While she did apologize, never really did get a decent explanation. My Caesar salad was probably one of the best I've had, but my steak and the bread was okay. I've had way better.
We try to visit whenever we vsit a town with a location available. Delicious!
I had made a reservation for 2, thinking that my husband and I would take advantage of Cincinnati's "restaurant week" to enjoy a special dinner together despite no particular occasion to celebrate. When our daughter unexpectedly decided to come into town that weekend, however, I called to see if we could add a 3rd to our reservation, fully expecting the answer to be "no." To my pleasant surprise, the staff at Ruth's Chris could not have been more accommodating, and we were able to include our daughter in a lovely no-special-reason evening, with good service and even better food. Kudos for a seamless fine-dining experience.
Joseph and Lenny and Timmy took great care of us. Was our granddaughter's birthday what a great time we had with great food and great service. The manager Shawn Gardner came by our table to make sure all was well and we complemented his team.
After fasting all day for Yom Kippur really looking forward to eating a nice steak and RC delivered.
Ruth's Chris was just perfect in all aspects in which you expect in fine dinning
The steak was excellent, we were there for restaurant week. That was a great deal. The dessert was a let down, bread pudding. It was dry and not very flavorful.
Who goes to a steakhouse and orders chicken? Anyone that has tried their stuffed chicken breast! Can't forget the sweet potato casserole and bread pudding. Delicious as always!!
Wonderful steak and wine selection!!!
My friends steaks came out well done when ordered medium and had to wait to recook it. Then it came out medium rare so she didn't even eat but three bites of it. We got there at 8:45 and didn't leave till 10:53. She wasn't sending the steak back a second time
After salad came the server had to come tell us there was no fire roasted corn and we both ordered it
Overall very disappointed in how it was handled from the kitchen
For the price we paid for dinner, unhappy. We come here somewhat often and this was disappointing again.
Server Tasha was very good
For the second time in three visits, my steak with a bone was overcooked. Those who simply ordered filets were quite satisfied, but I was the one paying the bill. Neither did I like the price of the sides. The bright side was that our server, Terrell (sp), was fantastic.
My wife and I decided to splurge for our anniversary. Such a memorable evening, so glad we did! Our server Lance was very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife had the seabass and she said it was the best she'd ever had. My bone in cowboy ribeye was amazing as usual. This place has yet to disappoint. Curious to try out the bar, it was packed from the time we arrived to the time we left. Best steak in the city hands down!
Service was great. Explained menu great and very attentive.
Steak was cooked correctly med/rare. Only problem is heavy "char" on the outside. Usually a Med/rare person does not care for over cooked outside. Steak was still good, tender and good taste overall. Crab cakes may have been the best I've ever had along with the ranch dressing.
On a side note, the wall next to us very dirty. Really could use a wipe down.
Julie is the best server/bartender ever!!! Excellent service.
They were out of 2 of the items we came all the way down there for
Very slow service, food just ok
Party of six. Very Slow service, not good in managing food sensitivity - incorrect order 2x on gluten free salad, fair quality food at very high prices. Do not waste your time or money, we will not be back. Too many other choices.
Great as always - was just upset we were initially marked as a no show for our reservation. When I got the email I had to get up in the middle of dinner to go correct the hostess.
My husband & son had the same steak & son's was fine but husband's was not good at all.
Fantastic meal. Steaks were awesome and wine pairing recommend was spot on. Awesome!
It was my wife's birthday! Great service and great food as always
Hostess and Server were very kind and generous to the birthday girl. They greeted us by telling her happy birthday, and gave her a birthday card and dessert to go.
This chain does a very good job no matter which location you choose...this location (my first trip here) was very good. For what this is, a classic American steakhouse experience, it's a bit pricey but the food was excellent and the service was better.
We both chose from the Classics menu (a prix fix option with a starter, main course, side and dessert) and upgraded one of our sides and both our desserts.
My ribeye had a little more fat on it that I expected so my advice...get the filet if you want to avoid that but both steaks melted in our mouths and were cooked perfectly.
What's surprising is the size of this restaurant...it doesn't look it from the outside but the place has an ample and active bar area and some upstairs dining rooms as well. Great spot for a special occasion or celebration.
Excellent as usual.
We went for restaurant week. They didn't go cheap on the entrees, like some other restaurants do for restaurant week. We both really enjoyed the steaks and salad. Richard, our server was very knowledgeable and personable. We'll go back again and again.
Great menu excellent food
