My wife and I were able to enjoy a wonderful dinner served by a wonderful server! Thank you Kalli for making our Anniversary most special!
Everything was just perfect. Best place for steak in Cincinnati
I had a great birthday!
Ruth's Chris did not disappoint. The Filets were delicious...cooked exactly as ordered. The service by Alicia and her assistants was over the top. Love that. The table was just okay...didn't ask for the bar area but I did ask for a table instead of a booth. Perhaps there were other tables spoken for in the dining area. The value was very good, and the food was delicious. Perhaps the bread could be a bit less doughy...but the dessert was great.
The waitress told us a medium well steak would be pink in the middle. It was well done. Should have gotten our steaks medium. Other than that the food was excellent.....hot and seasoned well.
Even though our reservation was for six and I spoke with them several times to confirm the number and that we were celebrating two birthdays, when we got there, the table was set for only four with only one birthday card. The presentation of the food was poor but it tasted good. Service was spotty. Our waiter replaced a steak even though we did not ask him to, which was great. However, we did not get the extra bread we asked for and our checks were mixed up. Since we were there during restaurant week, the value was good. I would not rush back especially if I had to pay full price.
Son leaving for 1st year of college , spent dinner w/ grandparents , aunt & uncle food never disappoints 💙
Waiter ignored us. Didn't get drink refills. Salad was to be split with anchovies. No anchovies and one salad had cheese and the other didn't. The salad came out the same time as the steaks. We sent the steaks back. Way too noisey. Had half the room closed off that may have impacted the noise level.
Very slow service this visit. Several periods of time where our waiter was not available. Unclear why, it was a Monday and the dinning room was not busy.
They were very nice to us when they heard it was our 25 year wedding anniversary and my 50th birthday. Thanks for that, made us feel special and makes us want to come back for special locations.
A wonderful dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The food was excellent. The only complaint is our to go dessert took way too long to come. But aside from that it was great
It was a Surprise date with my husband !
We loved it ! Everything was wonderful ! Our server Tasha was beyond excellent! Thank you so much for all the special touches !
Server was great along with the bust boy. Very knowledgeable, warned us of the hot plates that come with the food so we didn’t grab it by mistake or purpose. Explained the entrees and the sides how to order and how everything is cooked. It was a bit pricey but the quality I paid for was worth it.
Hands down best steak house in the city!
Waiter and service was fantastic. We thought the food was too salty in all dishes.
I didn’t like the fact that they had a sign on the door stating “ reservations only” . I was there dining the day before and I tried to make reservations and the computer showed from 5-8pm blocked out ., our city - Cincinnati had the p&g music jazz festival in town for the weekend .. I have been there when the reds or bengals play and they don’t put a sign on the door .. I’m a regular customer so I went ahead and walked in because I know the bar area doesn’t require reservations and it was plenty of available seats .. it was plenty of people in time and we have money just like any other race and I understand the capacity level may be an issue but let that be told afterwards..
I took my boyfriend for his 30th birthday and I asked if they could make it special for him. They decorated the table and left a birthday card on the table! It was amazing!! The food and the service were great! I would recommend Ruth chris to everyone.
Best steak in the city! Service was awesome, I think her name was Tasha. One word, perfection!
This has become our go to spot. Consistently great steaks and professional service. I highly recommend their cowboy ribeye! Plates come out sizzling with butter. Truly an indulgent treat
Great, lively scene. We sat upstairs, which was definitely more formal, downstairs seemed more casual as it is mostly bar area. Service from Lance was as professional and attentive as it gets. Steak was like butter, melted in my mouth. My wife got the swordfish which she said was too die for! I've said it once, and I'll say it over and over again, BEST STEAK IN THE CITY!!
Every dish our table ordered was perfect. We all enjoyed every bit of our meals. The service was incredible. Ruth Chris knows how to make a customer happy. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. We were seated promptly, and the wait staff was superb. Not invasive, but definitely checked to see that were were happy with everything. The food was delicious. Ruth's is my favorite place for a steak in Cincinnati. And my new favorite cocktail is the French Quarter!
We visited for our 16th anniversary and I had indicated when we made the reservation that it was our anniversary. Every person we encountered wished us a happy anniversary. They decorated our table with confetti and a card with best wishes. The food was perfect, the meal and it’s presentation were outstanding. We were blown away.
It was great just like every other time we have been there thanks
Exceptional dining experience. Alicia our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. Food was amazing as always. I highly recommend the cowboy ribeye, but only if you're into juicy, tender, melt in your mouth, bone in cuts ;-)
The food was amazing but there were a ton of young kids there and they sat us in what seemed to be the family room. We were on a date and left our kids at home so didn’t appreciate hearing other kids.
We couldn’t get reservations until 9:30 so we stopped in around 8:00 and was told to stop back around 9:00 and they would have us a table. Came back at 9:00 and they were ready for us. Everyone was pleasant and service was awesome. My husband had the shrimp cocktail and the petite filet which was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed my harvest salad and Chilean sea bass which both were amazing. We definitely will be returning here when in the area.
Although we had reservations, we were put in the bar area. It was very loud and we had trouble hearing one another. We requested a seat in the restaurant to no avail. The service was terrible-we continually had to re-ask for drinks, dressing, butter, bread, etc...he was an airhead. The food was great...somewhat less than Ruby's... Same price as Ruby's...GO TO Ruby's instead! The staff wasn't the friendliest either.
We love it there. Our son graduated from Xavier. Everyone has been great the last 4 years. If we ever get back to Cincinnati, we’ll definitely come back. Thank you for everything Ruth’s Chris!!!💜
Food was good. Ended up setting by the window and seeing homeless people the whole time
I've said this once and I'll say it over and over, best steak I've had in the city, maybe the country! The butter on the sizzling plates make such a difference. My mouth is watering just writing this :)
Service seemed very mechanical. Hard to place the order, seemed like we were an inconvenience to the waiter. It wasn’t very busy. Food was as expected for RC. Won’t be racing back, lots of good steak places in town.
Over the years I have frequented Ruth's Chis in various cities, primarily while traveling for business. This instance was on Father's day, with my wife and adult daughter. I was disappointed, primarily with the service. Simple requests, such as for a water refill or a missing napkin (mistakenly removed when the extra place setting was removed when seated, took two or three requests. Overall the meal was paced poorly.
I found the professionalism of the waiter to be lacking, an example is when I mentioned the steak was a little undercooked, the response was "would you like me to take it back or just browbeat the cook for you". Not worth pursuing I simply said I would just keep it, finished half and hoped for a better experience when I reheated it as a leftover to the proper temperature.
Our waiter, Terrell, was excellent. He was extremely professional, friendly, and even humorous. He food was excellent and prepared correctly. We were able to enjoy ourselves and had a wonderful meal.
Great overall experience. Noticed the bar was packed, curious to try out their happy hour. I've heard it is one of the best around. Fokd and service on point as usual. We'll be taking our friends here in the near future.
Best seeet potato casserole ever! Immaculate and so sweet. Love my Cincinnati RUTH CHRIS Steakhouse. Be sure to ask for Denise. She was tops.
Excellent experience. It's a special occasion place.
Always great. All around most consistent steak house in the tristate area.
Phenomenal as usual. Best steakhouse in the city.
