It is a beautiful place, Our server Gil was awesome, but the food was no where the price range expectancy level it should have been. If I could have walked away with an awesome taste in my mouth I would of had no problem to recommend, but for a check of $198.00 + 40.00 tip I was more than taken back. I am only posting a review to maybe they understand when you pay that amount of money for food you should aim to please. I am NOT one to send things back to a kitchen I have seen all kind of crazy videos of things that people do. So hopefully this helps and lets them know they DO have room for improvement.

This was our third visit to this restaurant. All 3 have been on Holidays. This last visit was not up to the standard we had seen on the first two visits. With the first two visits there was not one thing that wasn’t top notch. The service, the food and total experience was wonderful. This last visit did not measure up in any way unfortunately. Every aspect seemed off their game. We were seated immediately upon arrival which was good, especially on Mother’s Day, but it took a long time until anyone came to the table to get everything started and from that point everything was slow. Long time for any promised service to take place like bread to the table, very long time for salad and meal to be served, plates and dishes to be removed from table, extra place settings to be removed, etc. Food was not as exceptional as prior visits. Shrimp was over cooked and tough. Steak was very good though. The overall experience was not what we had experienced on the other two holiday visits and certainly not up to the standard of a fine restaurant. It just seemed off from beginning to end.

I booked a reservation for seven people for Mother’s Day because I knew that it would be a wonderful treat for my family members. It was very sweet how the restaurant gave each woman a rose, and I could tell my family members really felt at ease on arrival. We were put in the overflow room instead of the dining room, so I was a bit disappointed with that, but it was still a nice environment. One of my issues was that it took forever to get our food but I realize they were really busy that day. Also, my grandmother cannot eat very much, so we planned to order sliders for her which I’ve gotten for her before. They normally have sliders on their lunch menu but because it was a holiday, that was not offered. Instead they said they could give her small hamburgers from the kid’s menu. However, I was extremely disappointed with the serving that was given to my grandmother. The buns were completely burned and the meat was almost nonexistent. My grandmother refused to even it because she saw his burnt the buns were. She ate the french fries, and at 92 we let her do whatever she wants, but it was very disappointing since she was the matriarch and we were celebrating her for Mother’s Day.

We had a reservation for 12:15 on Mother's Day and made it to the restaurant about 15 minutes early. We were promptly seated in a back room, but from there things started to go askew. We had an extended wait before our waiter, Kitrius, finally appeared. He apologized as he knew he had been seated but got himself tied up with another table then forgot about us. Part of the issue is that the servers seem to have tables spread over several rooms, which made it more difficult to keep up with all of their guests. Kitrius offered a comped appetizer and we ordered crab cakes, though they were still partially cool inside when they arrived on a sizzling plate. The next issue was my 11 ounce filet, which was not very close to the medium I ordered, taken back for a recook. When it arrived around the time my wife was finished with her entry, it was still not much different, this issue is probably due to the way the meat was cut prior to cooking. There were long periods of waiting for drink refills as well, though our iced teas were also removed from the bill by Kitrius, which we didn't request. We still left a good tip, because I knew that the challenges our waiter faced were due to being spread out over several rooms. One last issue is that the general manager was the one who checked in our Open Table reservation, then forgot to record it, as we were marked as no shows the very same day. We have dined at this location many times and I don't think I would recommend it for high volume days (Mother's Day, Easter, Valentine's Day, etc.) unless you are seated right when they open for lunch. I expect better out of Ruth's Chris Steak House.

Although our meal was good, the food and service were lacking and neither were up to the level of many other Ruth’sChris that I’ve dined at before across the country. We took our elderly parents because they had heard us rave about RC only for it to be a subpar experience. I have to say I was a little embarrassed after I’d song RC’s praises for so long😳😢. I doubt we’ll be back to this location!

Lobster was stone cold had to use the 500 degree plate to heat it up to eat it. The filet mignon was dry and had no seasoning at all. The spring vegetables with blue cheese were probably the worst thing I have ever tasted. The cheese cake was delicious though. However, one adult meal and two kids meals was over $100 and definently not worth it at all! I should have to heat my own lobster if I'm paying that much for food. I thought I was treating myself to wonderful mother's day dinner with my boys, I was wrong. Don't waste your money any of the local chain steak restaurants are just as good if not better!

Everything was fine. It wasn’t exceptional. There were only three tables in the dining room during our lunch visit. No one came to fill my water glass. I had to drink the other water on the table.

Again, it wasn’t a terrible visit, i just expected better service.

I took my husband to dinner for his birthday. We both ordered steaks medium. Mine was fine, but his was very rare. This would have been okay, and we would have sent it back for a little more cooking, but no one was to be found for well over 5 minutes. Even at Logan’s steak house, they have you cut into the steak before they leave the table. By the time they got back to us, I had eaten half my steak and given him the other half of mine. It was way more than I could eat anyway. We had them just to deduct his steak, and not bring it back. That gives you an idea how long it was before they checked back with us (our only real complaint)... To their credit, they gave us dessert and coffee on the house. The food was very good, but don’t know that we will go back. We do love the Nashville location though..

Our server, Michael, was wonderful! We enjoyed him so much and he treated us like royalty! The food was superb and we all wished that we were able to finish it; the portions were so generous. Definitely coming back!

I celebrated my birthday with some friends. The table was set with a rose and happy birthday confetti. Super thoughtful!!! The food was amazing and service was superb. Ruth’s Chris is by far one of my favorite places to dine. The free Apple crumb tart birthday dessert was an added bonus. Can’t wait to go back!

Fine food and service. Everyone in our party enjoyed. Had one little mix up in preparation of two steaks. Easy to overcome, I are mt wife's small filet and she ate my larger one. All happy! Always wonderful to eat at Ruth Chris!!

Food and service were both excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and she was treated crazy special. However, your restaurant is not really for someone in my income bracket, as $176 for a couple for dinner with no apps, soups, or salads is simply insane and the quality/taste of the food doesn't warrant such a significantly higher ticket than your competitors. We'll only be back if I have a gift card and I would highly consider selling it on Ebay instead of using it.

Came in for Anniversary- this past Friday 8:30 pm. Ordered bottle of wine- Server stated manager was finding it- took our order.. 20 min goes by- no wine, apps served- NO wine. Apparently you did not have this wine. Then ordered.. Justin Cabernet Sauvignon- pointed to it on tablet for server to see. Wine arrived and opened- after few drinks noticed the bottle was Justin Isocelles.. $35 more than the regular Justin wine that we ordered and expected.. was charged for it- did not say anything. This bottle was also very warm. lesson learned. Ordered glass of ice to cool down this wine. Server forget ice.. my wife simply went to bar to get a glass of ice herself. Proceeded to pour our own wine all night- never once was server attentive or there to check on us. Very disappointing to say the least. Not what we have come to expect from Ruth's Chris!! When mains arrived the gentlemen started placing new plates and food without clearing the old plates- I asked him to remove all old plates first so we had room to eat! Steak arrived well done- we had ordered medium- hoping to have some pink. No pink in sight.. did not say anything as we were hungry and just happy that our wine was getting up to proper temperature (17-18 degrees). Dessert menu's were brought to us as we were still eating?? I guess we should be holding the dessert menu as we are still eating our dinner? Disastrous... Felt rushed. Staff does not have the experience for fine dining service. I guess when the manager is away.. the mice will play.. Gentlemen at front door in suit kept yawning and looking at his watch.. nobody visited our table to ask if all was well.. wont be back.
For regular customers of RC.. we were Extremely disappointed. Payed full price for 25% value..

Excellent dining experience for most all occasions. Menu options are very good. Food preparation is precise to customer expectations. Food quality is consistently excellent with very good value for the money paid. We always visit Ruth's Chris for our special occasions, whether in large group or just me and my wife......never fails to satisfy or meet our expectations.

The hostess asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion which we were; our anniversary. She turned around and picked out a rose from behind her and presented it to my wife. What a wonderful act of kindness and thoughtfulness. We have dined at this Ruth's Chris location on special occasions the last few years, and the food and service were excellent as always. Thank you Brian L for making our anniversary dinner an enjoyable evening.

Food service was bad, my wife and I got each other's steak and had to switch the HOT plates. Didn't get condiments originally asked for... Food was half ate before we received them. Had to ask and wait on another high price glass of wine. For the money I would expect better! We get better service at Texas roadhouse etc... which is good steaks too and a third of the price.

Steaks were excellent, along with asparagus and corn. Service is timed to leisurely dining, efficient yet personal. Very good wine list, but you must sample the array of whiskey, bourbon, rye and scotch at the bar. Deserts are the piece de resistance, so be sure to look twice. A great dining experience.

It was our anniversary and they thought of everything. Confetti on our table and a rose for me. Superb service from beginning to end. Food was great. Overall an exceptional experience.

Food and service was excellent! Our server was Brandy and she was personable and attentive and did a great job. The only negative (and it would not affect my recommendations!) was the overhead light that blinked constantly during dinner. First time to Chattanooga and a great way to spend our last night!! Thank you!

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. Although the food was good our service was just “ok”. We ran out of drinks numerous times and had to actually flag down our waitress to get a refill. That made the overall experience not as great as I would have liked. This business needs staff that are as upscale as the restaurant Itself. Needs well groomed staff and the works. Not just people that are there to have a job. So for that reason I was slightly disappointed.

Great for special occasions! Took my dad there for his birthday and the staff were great. Everyone who came to the table said happy birthday and then they gave us a free dessert.
