Ruth's Chris Steak House - Centennial Park Ratings and Reviews
Another fantastic evening at Ruth's Chris Centennial Park. This has become our annual tradition - Christmas dinner and gift exchange. We used to choose different restaurants every year, but for the past three years, since coming to Ruth's Chris for the first time, we never changed the location. The cuisine, the customer service the wait staff, all conspire to make for one phenomenal evening. And our waiter remembered us from almost a year ago. Now that is customer service. We will see you again next year.
Overbooked , kept promising table every 5 min, sent the guard when i complained about poor customer service , was seated 30 min later , food not that great and prices unacceptable , kept putting water bottles when the last ones were not even finished . Never again ... A shameful place .
The booking experience through OpenTable was impressive as always. Staff in the restaurant are professional and accommodating with very welcoming personalities. Steak(s) are the best I had in a while and of reasonable sizes. Sides are excellent flavor. Overall an excellent experience!
I usually get very good service from this restaurant, however, on this visit the service was exceptionally slow (had to go find the wait person more than once) and it was in the middle of the afternoon when no other diners were there so you would have thought the service would have been very good. In addition, 2 of the 4 steaks were not cooked to order. One was under done and the other was over cooked. Disappointing experience.
Food was good. However, don't be fooled by their lunch menu. Went for the SEC game and had a table for 7. All was set, except they don't tell you that the manager decided he wanted to take advantage of SEC fans in town. No lunch menu available, without notice. That's fine if they tell you and communicate, but they should be respectful and let their customers know what to expect. I am a frequent Ruth's Chris customer, so I know what to expect for a nice dinner in regards to the a la carte menu and prices. However, for a nice lunch I was expecting their lunch menu. They should be respectful of their customers and let them know what to expect even if it is good old fashioned price gouging.
Choose Ruth's Chris for dinner before Lady GAGA concert. The two people with me had never been to Ruth's Chris so I was really hoping that everything would be good and I was not disappointed. They really enjoyed the food and the service was great.
It was a great dining experience!
It was a phonomenal experience for my birthday dinner. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the nice quiet environment and the food was exceptionally delicious. I would recommend Ruth Chris to anyone looking for a great dining experience with good quality service and delicious food.
We were there for Thanksgiving. The waiter couldn't answer basic questions, give any info on wines and basically made us feel like we were interrupting him. The ambiance was rather poor as this is in a hotel. I would go to other Ruth's Chris locations again but I will pass on this one.
We arrived, no host or hostess, walked thru area with trash on the floor, didn't have wait service for some time. Mashed potatoes were terrible, brussel sprouts overdone. Steak was fine, a little too greasy maybe. But kicker was we paid for dessert and they offered to bring one for everyone at the table. 20 minutes of waiting later, never got it. Left having paid for it but never received it. Just a bad experience.
This Ruth's Chris is one of the relatively few that serves lunch; I think all of them should. A nice variety of lunch items, I had steak on a baguette with frites. Expensive, but worth it. Attentive servce, as expected. An oasis of civility and elegance in a busy day.
Food and service from the waiter was great. Was not aware that this location had a parking policy that once the hotel valet was full then they can turn you down. So I had to pay $20 to park in some gravel parking lot and walk in the rain. So I ask the hostess about the parking situation and all they kept saying was that the restaurant and the hotel have different owners. Who cares? My point was if I would’ve know that I would’ve went to a different location.
Hostess not warm/friendly at all. Chop Salad was weathered, not fresh. Salmon very dry and not seasoned well. The menu is subpar compared to other Ruth Chris restaurants. The worst overall experience I've had at a Ruth Chris ever. I dine at the locations in Ca & MD frequently.
My wife and I were in town to see the eagles. It was also our honeymoon. We had never been to Ruth's Chris before but had heard it was very nice. The waitress named Elizabeth was very nice and helpful. We had drinks prior to our dinner and they were good. I ordered a margarita and it was very good and when I ordered a second one it was totally different in taste and size. When it came to dinner, we both ordered a 6oz filet and lobster tail. We both ordered medium rare steaks. Our steaks were medium at best, hardly pink on the inside. Due to having a tight schedule I did not complain at the restaurant. Just not what we expected from what others told us about their experience.
