Ruth's Chris Steak House - Centennial Park Ratings and Reviews
I hadn't been to a Ruth's Chris in several years and forgot how wonderful this place was! And THIS location is amazing! We had a dining table in the bar & it was quite busy (Friday night.) The energy was great! The food was absolutely AMAZING and the service was really great, too! Worth every single penny, that's for sure! We are planning our next trip back this week!
Wasn’t impressed.... an hour wait for appetizers... two Minutes after we started our apps they bring our steaks out and quickly turned around bring them back into the kitchen. Assuming the steaks sat for 15 mins while we finished our appetizers. Plates were hot, steaks were not. They were cooked to the right temp so they weren’t left under a heat lamp while we finished our appetizers. But As far as the meat was concerned it was good. Not by any means blow my mind amazing. The fat in the rib eye was so tough u couldn’t eat it where it should have melted in your mouth. Our waiter is the one to blame for the bad service. Saw him twice all nite. Why should we have to flag someone down to get another drink ?? Our Food runner was great, she saw that the waiter messed up and fired steaks waaaaay before he should have. First time and last time at a Ruth’s Chris and Don’t see a reason to go back when I’ve had amazing meals at the competition for the same price. Place was at a normal occupancy so there is no excuse for our bad meal not to mention we were right next to the wait station that led to the kitchen. Go to the competition it will be a much better experience! Thanks
The service was slow and the Chilean Sea Bass was terrible. When we reported that two of our three dinners (both the bass) we uneatable, the manager did take it off of our bill, however didn't seem to understand our concern for the well being of those who might eat it as it tasted spoiled. The Petite Filet was ordered Medium and came Well. They offered a small cheesecake for my friends birthday which was very sweet. I would not order it ever again as they had added small pieces of apple that just gave a weird texture. I love their Chop Salad:)
"Corporate" steak dining completely devoid of the little service touches and attention you get in the best restaurants. Front desk hostesses were inexperienced with a faux snobby attitude. Server was completely blade and appeared that she hated her job.
Nice view of the park and Ferris wheel.
Spent $170 for two for a completely forgettable .
Excellent service, delicious food, and great atmosphere! We enjoyed lunch before the National Championship football game. Always our favorite stop on Game Day in Atlanta. The location is convenient when attending an event at the Mercedes Dome. It is a 15 minutes walk. Roll Tide!
It was very difficult to get a drink, our appetizers were never delivered, my medium rare steak came out well done and my 2nd steak came out borderline rare (ate it given the timing and it was fine). This happened with several other people in our party. I can only assume this was just a really bad day for the restaurant as I have had other good experiences at this location.
My birthday dinner was terrible here none of my guess was satisfied the food was not seasoned well the manager and waitress were all over the place it took us an hour before we even ordered our food... the staff customer service is terrible here
Awesome dining . . . Luis was amazing! "I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
I have dined at Ruth's Chris Steak House in the past and it was absolutely amazing!!! However, New Year's Eve night 2017 it was nothing in comparison to past experiences. Parking was impossible, P food was over cooked....all meats were dry....the server was HORRIBLE!!! I could have gotten better service at Chick fi lia. This was such a dissappointment!!!
Can’t beat its proximity to Centennial Park and Phillips Arena. Arrived early; checked in with the hostess; and headed to the bar area. At 530pm - we asked status of our 515pm reservation. It appeared the hostess forgot about us. Outside of that small delay - waitress was great; food was delicious (steaks - as always while chicken was a surprise). Still a great choice for anything to do in the Centennial Park Area.
Having eaten at Ruth Chris many, many times, this visit was terrible. Our food took over an hour. There was no explanation, which was terribly disappointing. When it was time to pay the bill, a portable cc machine was brought to the table which, in my opinion is terribly tacky.
Ive often bragged and referred associateds and friends To Ruth Chris because of The whole Experience. The Experience of a "VIP". Upon arrival our greeting was unbecoming of this establishment. I've honestly received a better reception at chik-fila and I've never spent over $400 their. All the hostess were clearly not happy about working the holiday, and I only know this because of the conversation they were having openingly. Heres the deal , I was only expecting what we've experienced previously. To be pampered and to say money well spent. But not this time much to my dia appointment, Maybe it time to take my expectations and money elsewhere in Atlanta
My wife and I decided to have our Christmas Dinner at Ruth Chris Centennial Park. As usual the food was great but the dinning experience was less than desirable due to the location of our seating. We were located next to the door to the outdoor patio. After our meal was served patrons began to come in through that door which was very uncomfortable due to the extreme cold outside. Then the staff started to bring in tables from the patio keeping the door open for extended periods. Our dining experience was becoming ruined. I complained to the manager who stopped the relocation of the outdoor tables and did help me physically move our table further from the door, which continued to be opened by patrons entering the restaurant. I really thought the manager who offer some kind of compensation for the physical discomfort, but was sadly disappointed.
I’ve never had a bad experience at a Ruth’s Chris until now. This location is tucked into an Embassy Suites hotel. The ambiance walking in felt as if we were going into a convention of sorts. The valet was off their game and there is a $7 charge that you must pay through the front desk of the hotel. When we entered the restaurant, the hostess barely greeted us (and it was Christmas Eve), I had to get her attention. Ruth’s Chris is notorious for great service and attention to detail, not this location. Our server seemed to have been trained at Applebee’s. We brought a very high end wine which she never addressed. We had to instruct her to open it and then she walked off holding the bottle before pouring. We were rushed through ordering and finishing. She repeatedly tried to clear the dishes from the table before everyone was finished. Strangely she didn’t rush to bring the bill we had to ask then she just stood by the table waiting. With some gadget in her hand, she processed the credit card right there handing it to my husband to put in a tip. All while she stood there. Awkward! There are too many other locations and too many other options for fine dining in Atlanta. This one is not worth the expensive meal for what you will experience overall.
