We decided to go to this Ruth's Chris based on the assumption that all their steakhouse were consistent with cooking methods and flavor. I was sorely mistaken. The service was good, but the food was severely lacking all aspects. The calamari had too much of their 'thai sweet sauce.' I ordered their 16 oz ribeye medium rare with creamed spinach. The steak was bland with absolutely no flavor but the butter drenched on it. The creamed spinach was horrible. My wife had the filet minon with lobster tail and the exact same result. Steak was flavorless. It was not up to par with any steakhouse that charges that price for USDA Prime meats.

I would not recommend this location to anyone.

This was a pretty terrible experience. We used to go to Ruth’s Chris for special occasions and decided to try it again after many years away. It has gone very far south. Our steaks were all over well done when we ordered them medium rare. The timing of everything was ridiculous. They brought appetizer immediately and then took forever for everything else. Waited 30 minutes for drinks which were wrong. Manager said he would “take care” of our dinner and we were brought the entire bill. It was over $400 for 4 people and it definitely felt like flushing money down the toilet. Very disappointing.

The service was excellent. My dates chocolate martini glass was cracked, we had to reorder his steak three times just for it to be done “medium” the creamy spinach was cold. But my server compensated by discounting the bill. Overall I would come back, next time I’m ordering chicken or seafood.

Rozz was great probably the best server I’ve had there! Although great service and food I couldn’t give it 5 stars because of parking. It’s usually valet service but on 7/26/18 we were told they weren’t valeting Ruth Chris guest. Had to park a little ways away and walk to the restaurant in 6 inch heels with a toddler. That was the only downfall.

My husband had never been to any Ruth’s Chris location. We came to Atlanta and booked the closest to our hotel we were staying at. I’ve been to other locations however this time my filet was burnt and I couldn’t eat it. His strip was pretty much all fat. The appetizer was good and lobster tail was as well. The waiter was great but for the price that’s probably the last time we ever go to a Ruth’s Chris restaurant.

I dine at Ruth’s Chris every time I’m in Atlanta for business because it is in the hotel. The fixed price menu is a good value. I enjoyed a salad and baked potato this visit and it hit the spot. The wine list seemed very expensive for the selections offered and that was disappointing. The service was dependable and courteous. I would dine here again next time I am in town.

Waited almost 20 minutes for a refill of iced tea. Waiter only came by our table a couple of times the entire meal. Salads never came out. Very under staffed in my opinion. Steak was excellent.

Unfortunately, seems our visit was doomed from the beginning. Were told no tables available, booked on open table and sat in the fully “booked” area with only two other small groups. Poor service, although not necessarily our servers fault. Took 20 minutes to get salads. Eaten here several times and this was not a pleasant experience. Food was still wonderful, but service lacking.

The dinner was disturbed by table on both sides playing loud videos and FaceTime with volume on. I complained to staff but they were not told to stop. It was very rude. I spoke to one of the tables and they snubbed my request. Fine dining should not allow this. Really no talking on phones but certainly no loud video and FaceTime. Disappointing

As always the steak and sides are fantastic. The service is top notch. The food cost is climbing even for a high end steak house to a point that is not affordable. The dessert menu has always been subpar. The chocolate cake has no cake in it, and is VERY rich. We wish for a top if the line carrot cake maybe or a GOOD cheesecake. For now the steak is worth the other negatives but the competition is growing.

Worst dinner I've ever had at Ruth Chris. I ordered from the $58.00 Prix Fixe menu which included a caesar salad, 12 oz. ribeye, mashed potatoes and dessert. The salad was ordinary, steak had absolutely no taste, potatoes had odd taste, dessert ok. All in all very disappointed. I barely touched my food. Rather than asking if I enjoyed the server asked if I wanted a "to go" box. I said no thanks. I will not return to this Ruth Chris location.

The service and wait staff was all great, the dining room was nice. But the food quality was not good at all. Both steaks that we ordered weren’t seasoned at all, and one was charred all the way around and was fatty all the way around. The side portion was not large enough for the amount they charged and for what was supposed to be a “shareable” side. The only good thing was dessert.

Fixed price menu was a good bargain but my wife's steak was over cooked. The potatoes were very salty. We like La Crema pinot from the Russian Rive Valley but this was not available. Our server, Luke was attentive and helpful. We really didn't care for the snotty attitude of the Hostess, Melissa, when our party arrived. We made our 7:15pm reservation on Open Table earlier in the day and arrived at the appointed time but had to sit and wait for them to "see if the table was prepared for us."

It was our first night of a family trip to ATL and my birthday. I thought we couldn’t go wrong with a high-end chain located in our hotel. We had eaten at Ruth’s Chris in other cities. We were expecting good service and a good steak. The service was lukewarm and nothing special. No one mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday even though I included that in the reservation notes. Our steaks were ok but the butter overpowered the steaks. I don’t remember this from other visits. The sides were over salted (creamed spinach) and soggy (potato strings). We splurged on a bottle of wine since nothing else seemed special about the evening. Our bill for 2 adults and 2 kids was $300. Had the service been good or the quality of the food been better or if someone had even mentioned it being a birthday celebration, I might have overlooked the steep bill. But the value was not there at all. We were dressed nicely but apparently the dress code was not enforced as some diners were wearing shredded jean shorts. I own a lot of shredded denim but I have enough sense to not wear it to a “nice” restaurant. It was a disappointing birthday dinner.
