Our server was very polite helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. This was our first time at the restaurant and our server made us feel very welcomed.
The waiter was amazing
I guess I expected a better food experience. I feel like it was over rated. My lobster bisque had a burnt taste and my mashed potatoes tasted like instant
Listen, I never write reviews but everything was just so good. From the service to the food. They made sure that my anniversary was spent well. Not only that, they even set up our table for our anniversary. I highly recommend to make a reservation when you do go. They make sure you are seated right away. We had the crab cakes which were soooo good. Then, for dinner we had lamb chops with mashed potatoes and the lobster mac n cheese. Well I tell y’all the mac busss I mean it.
The service was extremely lackluster, especially for it to be New Year’s Eve compared to the Buckhead location . Also, as I walked to the restroom I noticed a chef/cook with one hand under his chef’s jacket/coat resting near near his stomach/pants watching a video on his phone with his gloves on and after that I was disgusted. I also witnessed staff members at the bar area place Items in the trash with their gloves then proceed to make drinks with the same gloves.
Horrible horrible horrible. Big mistake coming to this location. I will continue to stick with what I know. The buckhead location hands down the best.
Food was horrible. Waitress was amazing, would come to any restaurant she’s serving at.
New Year’s Eve in the ATL for the Chik Fil A Bowl and we decided to make it a special occasion by dining at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. I made an early reservation and asked for a table in a quiet area. We were greeted and seated at a table near the windows which was very pleasant. Started with a French Martini for Janice and an excellent Macallan scotch for me. We decided to splurge a little and ordered appetizers of seared tuna and the calamari. Both were nicely presented and enough for a meal in themselves. We couldn’t visit Ruth’s w/o sampling the steak, however. Janice chose a petite fillet, and I opted for Tournedos and we split a side of grilled asparagus. What a treat! Nicely seared, rare, and served on a very hot plate. It was all two hungry diners could have hoped for. We ate leisurely; never rushed but well attended by our excellent server, Dexter. He answered questions and made suggestions to be sure we got everything just right. Thank you, Dexter! Janice topped things off with dessert of Chocolate Sin Cake, but I finished with an espresso. It was a very pleasant evening and very satisfying. (We had eaten almost nothing all day, so we felt we could enjoy the total treatment.). Definitely worth the trip!
Very professional, clean, respectful, and nice with a romantic setting
Excellent menu and main course! The best land chops I have ever had from a restaurant...ever!
We were definitely not impressed by this visit. We eat Ruth’s Chris often and my husbands Filet was very fatty. We were there at 7:15 they were already out of Au gratin potato’s, our first loaf of bread was stale, and no steak sauce was available due to them not receiving their truck. Spent $150 on dinner that was by far one of the worst dinners that we’ve had in a long time. Hopefully they will get it together. As for us we will probably not be returning for a while.
Dana was phenomenal! Request her!
My wife and I really enjoyed our date night meal at Ruth’s Chris steak house.
Horrible service on Christmas Day...will never go to this location again.
Christmas day I visited the Centennial Park location in Atlanta. The service was decent and food was mediocre at best. The prices were extravagant for the quality of service and over all experience. The drinks however, were amazing, kudos to the bartender
They saved the day. I appreciate that RC was open on a major holiday, for that reason I give them 3 out of 5 stars.
I took my now Fiancé here to propose to her and everything was perfect! Thank you so much to my waiter!!
Went here with my wife and son for a quiet Christmas eve dinner and to celebrate my son being home from college. He order the 40 tomahawk steak but after the bone was removed along with the fat it only filled a normal sized plate 3/4ths of the way (less than 20 ozs of edible meat. I got the steak and lobster and wanted to substitute asparagus for the broccoli that came with it (even for an upcharge). They said they could not do that and I would have to order/pay for the asparagus separately (annoying). Then the switched my wifes and my steak (medium well and medium rare). The final straw was when I looked at my bill and we had several drinks on it we did not order). Had to call to get them taken off. For this kind of $ thinks should be perfect.
It was my entire party's first time at RCSH. I asked for a window seat with a view because I had just proposed to my fiancé on her bday. We were sat right at the entrance, although there was plenty of window seating. The service was dry and underwhelming, but the FOOD was sooooo good!
Experience was amazing. Waiter was professional, informative and on the ball. We were seated right when we arrived, before our reservation time and the wait for food was no more than 10 minutes. View of Centennial Park and the Ferris Wheel was fantastic.
While I appreciate the challenges of COVID-19 and staffing we all have come to expect a level of top notch service at Ruth’s Chris. Usually several team members work a table and nothing is left to chance. Several times drinks were not refilled, dishes not removed and overall lack of attentiveness. We expect more as prices have not been reduced. The food was tasty, but the service is equally as important.
Out with my wife
Good experience, good food. First time visit, will repeat.
It was my fiancé birthday . I reserved a table for two . The waiter was fine the nigh was going good . We ordered drinks and their was a fruit nat in the middle of her drink smashed against the glass . Clearly visible. We told the waiter he grabbed the drink and brought back another one . Nobody came to our table to apologize for having a bug in her drink . That’s all we wanted at the time being . Now I would like to be credited for the poor service after we ordered drinks and there was a bug In her drink
Great food, great atmosphere and great drinks no complaints everything was amazing
We had appetizers before getting our drinks. My steak was way over cooked and my companion finished eating before I received my recook. Sides were cold by the time I got to eat, they did not offer fresh sides for my recook. Other patrons were walking around with no mask over their nose or no mask at all. Server was kind and apologetic. But the food was not very good. They did not do anything to make up for slow bar service, overcooked food and cold side items. We will not go back.
The night went okay. Service was mediocre. Walked in and stoped at the bat for first drink. Bartender was busy, very short with answers and never came back to us. Another gentleman helped us and made our drinks so that was cool. For the money spent I felt the service could have been a step up. Our server at the table seemed rushed and no personality. This being our first time there I thought it would have been a great experience. My wife and I ordered steaks. She had the bone in filet and I had the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked great and side items were big enough to share. Dessert was crème brûlée, Togo. It was okay.
Food was very good
The server was horrible. I wasn’t offered another drink but who I was with received premium service. My stuffed chicken was nasty. The garlic mashed potatoes had too much butter. Instead of a $50 tip she got a $15 due to lack of service.
Took my boyfriend on a surprise dinner date for his birthday and the servers had birthday decorations on the table for us and a complimentary dessert!! The service was amazing, the food was great!! Love love love the atmosphere. This was my first time dinning at Ruth Chris and I loved it!! I will definitely be back (:
The new mac n cheese recipe is horrible. Can we get the old version back. Thanks for keeping the sweet potato casserole the same. This the only reason I come. Thanks
Our waiter Erik was top tier!! Best service we’ve had in a while.
It were my birthday and got there close to closing service wasn’t that great. Food was cold some not all but I truly hadn’t ever experience this before. Birthday desert was not the same cause all the staff was gone home. Waitress tried her best to accommodate I appreciate that part. Will not ever go to this particular one during those hours again!
Food & service was great, considering the challenges we're facing with COVID-19
Had another wonderful experience. Service was fantastic! Everything we had was good starting with the crab cakes and barbeque shrimp. The Ribeyes were cooked to perfection and super juicy and delicious. The baked potato has the best toppings ever and the sweet potato casserole was divine. We will definitely continue to return!
There was a large banquet party being served before anyone else. We had no idea until 45min had passed and we hadn’t received our food so we inquired about why and then the waiter let us know about the large party ahead of us. We waited another 20 min and the food finally arrived with a fee errors though.
Worst steakhouse experience. Did get the Thanksgiving prix-fixe but the experience was very chainy. I had a sneaking suspicion that Ruth Chris Thanksgiving menu would disappoint so I catered dinner from Fox Bros on Wednesday. We stuck with Ruth to have dinner with an old neighbor friend. Stick to Bones or Marcel for true quality experience, service. We live in midtown and will never be back. The evening wasn't terrible because we enjoyed it with good company; however, the restaurant experience was horrible. The most subpar food experience in Atlanta - I wish it were a hyperbole. Furthermore, please don't advertise you do Thanksgiving prix-fixe if the host nor waitstaff do not mention it. We specifically had to ask for it. The tables weren't bussed promptly. Locals - please save your money and go elsewhere.
Noisy and poor ambiance. Got food to go instead of dining inside the restaurant. Terrible thanksgiving experience
Super yummy food. Our server was Ana, and she was very kind and helpful.
Everything was amazing. Prices were great and the service was amazing. This is definitely a new date night special place for my wife and I to visit. Thank you for everything Ruth’s Chris !!
Dexter (server coach) was the best waiter ever!! I gave him a wonderful tip for his outstanding service!! I visit your establishment about 4 times a year and he was absolutely amazing!! The food was delicious!! The cowboy ribeye was cooked medium and marvelous. It was my anniversary and Dex showed us a wonderful time. Kamala (host/manager) was astronomical.
