11 oz filet was the Best steak I’ve had. The quality of the food is on par with the price but the alcoholic drinks are very much overpriced. A more private seating area for special occasions, such as anniversaries, would be nice given the menu prices. Overall, excellent service, excellent food, and an easy place to leave more than satisfied with the experience.
The food and service were fabulous! That lobster mac and cheese <3
Great staff! The best fillet I’ve had in awhile.
I’ve been to many RC and found a very consistent product but tonight was different. First, as I was eating a bite of my salad the server went to refill my son’s water glass and shoved the pitcher in my face mid bite, almost hitting me. My steak was extremely undercooked (ordered medium) and required my to send it back. The bernaise I ordered cake when I was half done with the steak. The funniest part was when the waiter was making bananas foster for my 15 year old and couldn’t get it to flame, therefore not burning off the alcohol, then went to get another few shots to try again- I stopped him before I had a drunk teenager and took it as it. Overall disappointing. I rarely leave negative reviews.
In general, excellent. However, the bar did not have the fixin’s for a Sazerac. Considering that Ruth’s Chris was founded in New Orleans (I’ve dined at the Founding restaurant on Canal Street and had met Ruth Fertel) I found this lack disappointing.
We enjoyed our dinner as always. We thought it was a little off putting to see so many people not abiding by the dress code. Sadly this detracts from the experience.
Ruth Chris Cary went out of their way for my daughter's 13th birthday with her dad. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for my husband and daughter.
Mario was a great host/manager and our waiter Robert was excellent!
I have never been disappointed coming here. The food is delicious and the employees are always pleasant.
Exceptional food and service as always!
As always, everything about the experience is phenomenal
The food is good. The service is great. The ambiance is just average. There is nothing outstanding at this restaurant that would bring me back for a second time. In other words there is no “ WOW” factor! If you want to charge top dollar for food, at least provide something different to separate yourself from the rest.
I still love Ruth's Chris but...if you are going to have a dress code...then you should try to enforce it as gently as possible. Like have some jackets for men. It is sad to dress up for a nice dinner to a place that has a dressing code (with a sign) and then observe people walking in as if they were eating at a pub. The service is ok, but it has drifted off in the last few years.
I'm not sure if Ruth's Chris has changed over the years or it is just this particular one. One could always count on a near perfect meal with near perfect service. On this occasion however, my meal came when I was only half way done with my salad, my rare steak came to the table medium and the French press coffee tasted like dishwater. There was no flavor to it at all. It's like the waiter filled it with hot water and plunged it immediately instead of letting it sit for a few minutes. Herons and Angus Barn have my "special dinner" votes from now on.
Excellent service & ambiance
Great service. Food was amazing
Great food and service
Excellent food and service
My first experience there was awesome. Looking forward to my next visit.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my husbands 75th birthday. We had a group of 5 and Everyone’s dinner was perfect! Ruth’s Chris called the day before to confirm our plans and also called the following day to thank us for going to Ruth’s Chris and to make sure all went well. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer evening!
As usual the NY Strip Steak was great. Shrimp cocktail flavorful and cooked just right.
Our Server's name was Robert and he treated us very well. Great service.
We did get splatters on our clothes from extremely hot food bubbling when put very close to us on the table. Table near us was extremely loud and obnoxious.
Love this place
Tomahawk seemed small , 34 bucks for 2 cosmopolitans was little steep
Always a fantastic experience at this Ruth’s Chris location. The front desk and management made it very special for my birthday celebration with roses on the table and a wonderful dessert treat. Thanks for all recognizing our special events and holding our favorite table.
Food is always outstanding & service is impeccable. last two times caleb was our waiter...... very professional and great personality!!
We dined here for our anniversary and we had a fantastic experience! Our server was exceptionally great and the fillet’s were perfect! My wife loved the cocktails. This was our first time at Ruth’s Chris and we will be back for another special occasion!
I went with coworkers and we had a wonderful experience. We are all three from out of town and really enjoyed our experience. Our waiter Brett was phenomenal and took really good care of us. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect.
Excellent and professional staff, especially the waiter. The filet mignon was perfect.
Based on my healthy eating habit, though, the food overall was a bit heavy. The filet was loaded with butter. The garden veggies were buried under a thick layer of melted blue cheese. For some people, that might not be an issue.
We had a wonderful time and the service and food were exceptional. We were celebrating our 49th anniversary and the staff made the night special for us. We have visited other Ruth's Chris restaurants before including this one but this visit was by far the best experience we have ever had. Thanks to all for making our night special. And oh by the way, the food was also awesome. I had the 12 oz. Rib eye and my bride had the 8 oz filet. Both steaks were cooked to perfection.
Ruth’s Chris is great as always. I’ve never had anything bad.
My wife and I were celebrating our 19th Wedding Anniversary and you all did an excellent job helping me celebrate my Wife.
Great meal with friends! Steak and lamb perfectly cooked. Nice atmosphere and exceptional server.
Although the staff was extremely friendly felt that the meal itself was over priced.
No complaints; excellent food and service!
We used the price fixed menu as motivation to go there. In the end, the price fixed menu wasn't that much cheaper than the other menu meal options (maybe $5.00). The nice part was that we ordered one meal from the price fixed and one from the regular menu and got the best of both worlds.
Our server Bobby was great. Attentive and always around in case we needed anything.
Only reason it is not a 5 star review was that my wife's chicken was undercooked. Very disappointed that they couldn't get that right. I understand steaks are much more difficult to gauge how well it is cooked, but chicken is easy. Unfortunately, it took another 10-15 minutes for another one to be made and by that time I had finished my meal.
The manager did come by and apologize but was slightly disappointed that she didn't comp the entire meal given that we weren't able to actually eat our meals at the same time. Instead she only comped the chicken portion of the meal. To be fair, that was the majority of the cost, but to comp the entire meal would have been my preference given that it wasn't all that much more.
Overall a very pleasant experience and will go back again.
Celebrated anniversary there and they put rose petals on the table. Excellent experience!!! Our server was Jade and she was awesome.
WE LOVE YOUR RESTAURANT, BUT WE HAVE TWO MAJOR SUGGESTIONS. FIRST, BRING A PROPER WINE GLASS FOR OPUS ONE, WHICH COST $95 FOR 5 OUNCES. SECOND, BRING THE BOTTLE TO THE TABLE TO MAKE THE POUR. THIS KIND OF PRESENTATION ENHANCES THE DINING EXPERIENCE. A LITTLE TRAINING FROM AN ITALIAN WAITER WOULD MAKE EVEN YOUR LESSER PRICED WINE SEEM TO BE THE BEST POUR IN THE HOUSE.
We went to Ruth's Chris as part of Restaurant Week. Our reservation was for 5:30 p.m. When we arrived, we were seated upstairs in what clearly is more of a conference room with those awful, uncomfortable seats and basic decor. Our server was lovely and friendly, but we didn't see her very much. Dishes weren't cleared right away, we had to ask for bread 3x; it was just not the Ruth's Chris experience that we typically have. On the way out, I stopped in the ladies room upstairs. It had all the ambiance of a high school bathroom. One of the two stalls was broken and locked. The remaining stall had no toilet paper. Really, it was a shocking and disappointing dinner and we do not plan to return to that location. Even with the Restaurant Prix Fixe menu, we still paid around $120, and we expected much more from this experience.
Great experience! Nice valet parking which is optional. Welcoming as soon as you enter and the restaurant has a wonderful appearance. Waiters, chefs and all do a great job making your dinner an excellent experience with great food!
