    I wanted to share my experience at Ruth Chris-Buckhead on Sunday 2/18. My husband and I had reservations at 5pm. When we arrived, the young lady was extremely nice in greeting us. Once we got to our table, someone immediately brought us water. Our waiter, Mike Hambrick came and described everything to us about Ruth Chris. He was very attentive, making sure our beverages were never low, making sure our steak was cooked to perfection, and making sure we were happy customers. This really made our dinner extra special and we will definitely return! Thank you Mike!

    My husband and I shared a post Valentine’s Day lunch and it was fantastic. Rose was our server and she was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a great meal with no issues. The filet was on point! Juicy and tender. We ordered the mushrooms, and sweet potato casserole to go with our filets. They didn’t disappoint. Ruth’s Chris has the best sides at a steakhouse. This was a beautiful experience. We’ll definitely be going back.

    The atmosphere was nice and not loud,the food.... First of all, the lobster mac and cheese was the worst lobster mac and cheese that I've ever eaten. I asked the server if I can get my dessert to go. Apple crumb tart w/vanilla ice cream. This man put the cold ice cream and the hot tart in the same box! Before I could even pay,it looked like milk

    Definitely have Paul at the bar make your drinks. Both times we’ve gone we had Conrad as our server and he’s great. Had a real good time there.

    The food was excellent but the service was extremely poor. No contact with the waitress after our food was ordered. I couldn’t even find her to order a second drink. Noone ever checked to see if we needed anything else. I had to get the managers attention to get the check. I expressed my concerns to the manager . He was less than accommodating and did not even apologize for the poor service. Ive been to a Ruth Chris restaurant previously, in a different location, and The service was great. It leads me to believe there is poor management in the Buckhead,Georgia location.

    The line for valet was backed up onto Peachtree and moved extremely slowly. Once seated, I was confronted by the hostess that if the rest of my party was not there they would not be able to hold my table. This was stated one minute after my reservation time. I told her that the valet is backed up onto Peachtree and that they would be coming in once they were able to get through the valet line. The server was slow in taking our drink orders and the food did take a while to come out. She was pleasant however.

    Still the standard I go by. I ordered a Jack & Coke that didn't taste right. The manager brought me back all three components separately, so I could do it myself and be satisfied I got what I asked for. That's customer service.

    Steaks are not prepared the original Ruth’sChris way using super- heat broilers. The Filet appeared to be cooked Sous Vide without properly broiling afterwards … very disappointing. Server was friendly and attentive. For the $, I cannot recommend at this time.

    Ruth Chris should cancel their lease with this Hotel. The temperature was so cold because the Hotel controls the thermostat. The manager of Ruth Chris can get no response from the Hotel. Apparently it has been this way for quite some time. The Embassy Suites should also close this Hotel or change management. This is a hotel issue and Ruth Chris reputation is being damaged. This Hotel is totally incompetent but I cannot recommend this Ruth Chris to anyone.

    Awful is the word I would use to describe this restaurant and the experience there. We made reservations and that apparently means nothing. We were sat in a hallway outside of the restaurant and just waited for 30 minutes. My husband finally got someone to get a manager and to be honest, he didn't care we had been waiting for so long. He finally came and got us and we were excited about a good meal. The absolutely adorable woman who gave us our water and bread was the nicest person we spoke with all evening and then it all went downhill. We ordered crab stuffed mushrooms and drinks. 15 minutes later when our drinks finally arrived, we were advised they were out of the mushrooms. Fine, how about crabcakes. The crabcakes were out to the table in like 2 minutes, sizzling on a plate. The problem was, while the bottoms were sizzling, the crabcakes were actually cold. Like they grabbed the from the fridge, plopped them on the plate and brought them out. Oddest thing ever. Then we ordered the porterhouse and they bragged about how it was cooked at 1800 degrees and then brought out in 500 degree plates. Sounds amazing! Nope. If I can touch the plate, it's not 500 degrees, and once again, the food was almost cold. We ordered medium rare, it was basically rare. At the point we are just annoyed so we ate what we could. My husband doesn't mind the rare so I let him have most of it. Our waters were refilled by the lovely lady who originally brought us our water, but we were never checked on or offered another beverage until we were done and I had my credit card out to leave. My husband sought out the water/bread waitress and gave her cash since she was the only one who made our evening even slightly palatable. Oh, and it was our 18 year anniversary. We were staying next door at the Intercontinental and thought it would be nice to not have to worry about driving and just walk to dinner. Nope. Worst experience for an almost $300 meal. 0/5 stars and do NOT recommend.

    after waiting over 45 minutes for a table in an outdoor atrium in the embassy suites for an 8pm reservation where the temberature was no more thasn 50 degrees we were ussered in through the kitchen to a restaurant that was maybe 60 degrees. The food was cold (except for the steak served on a hot plate) no one came in a timely manor to check on us, the whole overall experiance was over 2 1/2 hours and it was mostly spent waiting in the cold. when we asked, we were told that the hotel controlled the heat. I have eated at other Ruth's Chris-What a Treat! I thought this was what I was getting. Not this one. It belongs in an embassy suites. The decor was comensurate. Don't bother.

    I’ve been to other locations of this restaurant chain, but this experience was not ideal. The lobby of the hotel was FREEZING but the heat in the restaurant was slightly better. Our drinks took about 12-15 minutes to arrive and when they did, my wine glass was very dirty. The food was good, but we only saw the waiter once during the entire meal. I will definitely not be returning to this location.

    Service was excellent, as was the ambience. Filet was excellent, but the shrimp appeared to be cooked much earlier, dry and lukewarm. The creamed potatoes were very thin, like they had been thinned down to go further. Dessert and coffee were fantastic.

    Food and service were good but it was a cold day and it was freezing in the restaurant. Drinks were not made as shown on the menu with ingredients left off and very poor presentation for pricey drinks. Were overcharged for three items on the bill which the waiter quickly corrected when pointed out. Overall, just a so so experience for a pricey restaurant.

    The food was amazing. The wine was perfect. The ambience was not romantic in dining area. It was super bright, however the bar/lounge was dim and sexy lighting. The only complaint is the utensils could’ve been cleaned better.

    Food was outstanding. We had the steak (med rare) and lobster tails. The steak was cooked perfectly and we were able to cut it with the butter knife easily. The lobster tail was juicy and flavorful. You better be prepared to pay a lot of money though. I even asked for a military discount when the bill came out😳😂

    The valet procees was chaotic. Checkin process for the reservation was ok. The service was lacking it took 40 minutes just for my gumbo but it was only after I ask for it. Service was the greatest for the value of the food.

    Myself and my husband didn't even get a chance to eat. We had reservations but was never seated. We arrived prior to opening and waited well beyond our reservation time. There was some sort of confusion or drama where an employee said the restaurant had been sold and she was attempting to contact the GM. She informed us that she didn't know if they would even be serving today and seemed visibly upset by what was going on. We don't have a Ruth Chris near us and we drove over 2 hours and planned out our day which included lunch at the Buckhead location which didn't happen. We also had already purchased movie tickets for after lunch but we waited so long trying to see if we would be seated that we had to end up leaving and couldn't even eat prior to our movie. Completely ruining our day. This was our 1st time going to this location and it will definitely be our last. Never would expect this type of service from Ruth Chris.
