Disappointed compared to Alpharetta location which we go to every year. Service was very slow
Dining out for the Holidays. This was a nice, enjoyable experience!
The Thanksgiving dinner was pretty good. The turkey was dry and not very warm. The sides were good! Service was great.
Food and service were by far excellent!!! We had the thanksgiving meal and happy to say no dry turkey! The sweet potato casserole was to die for! Our waiter Courtney was excellent and the wine recommendation was perfect!
Smart decision on our part to forgo cooking. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, as one would expect, at RC. We will plan to have Thanksgiving there again next year.
Tristan was a really good waiter. We hasn’t been to a Ruth Chris in ATL since living here. Will definitely be back.
Our server needed more training. He had a difficult time removing the unnecessary place settings (only 2 of us). We were never given plates for our appetizer and had to use our bread plates. However, the worst offense was serving our food on plates that were scorching hot. My steak was so hot it burned my mouth. I had to cut the filet in pieces, allowing it to cool, just so I could eat it. We will not be back.
I had an amazing dinner for my birthday. My ribeye was so juicy and tender, the sweet potato casserole was excellent, the creamed spinach was good, and the cheesecake was tasty. My mom had the salmon which was amazing too.
Well i thought the food Entrees were little costly considering all sides are A la carte .Thought Wines by the Glass were Very Expensive and Limited !
We went for our anniversary and they delivered exceptional service!
Terrible service, I will not be going back there again.
It was a great place. The seating could of been more spaced out. I heard the table's conversation behind us. If your reading the "sides" are like Italian meals one side is big enough for 2 people.
Birthday celebration the service was superb. We highly recommend checking out Ruth Chris at the downtown location.
Loved our experience! The food was fresh and delicious! Our sever Sterling was exceptional; so friendly and attentive.
Best experience ever!!! I would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful experience, as usual. Ruth's Chris never disappoints!
The service was terrible and the meal below average. I will not go back to this particular location.
Party of two, Friday night 7pm reservation. From the moment we arrived it felt like we weren’t valued much. The young man at the front desk barely made eye contact, didn’t provide any welcome, looked at the computer for a little while (pulling up our reservation I assume), had a private conversation aside with a coworker who approached, and then said “this way.” In the dining area he was going to seat us at a central table and I asked politely if we could sit at a corner table. (The restaurant was about a quarter full or less.) He hesitated and seemed perplexed but eventually said “okay.” Our server, Tea, arrived soon and was very pleasant, took our drink order, etc. Drinks came and one was correct, the other not. She exchanged that drink, no problem.
We ordered our steaks (both MR) and sides. When my wife’s 8 oz filet arrived it was medium at best. Again, exchanged no problem but it took a while to get Tea over. This is one of those restaurant skills—keep an eye out for the guest to take a second bite and then come check to see if everything is okay. Filet came and was MR but I had to go ahead and start without her (at her insistence so my steak didn’t get cold). But you know, you like to eat together.
No real problems from that point on. Food was good. Another good restaurant skill is to clear glasses plates etc from the table when they’re clearly done being used. Our before-dinner empty martini glasses sat on the table all the way til the check arrived. (We had a bottle of cab with dinner.)
No acknowledgement or “thank you for coming” as we left the restaurant. On a side note, Ruth’s Chris is usually upscale and the dress code as stated is business casual or better yet their were people dining in some very sloppy wear.
I’ve been to several Ruth’s and they have felt special and all services impeccable from arrival to departure. It’s what you expect of the chain and what you expect when spending $400 or more on dinner. This restaurant did not deliver.
It was okay. Filet steak was cooked perfectly medium well. Ordered a lobster tail but never received it. Ordered 2 chocolate mousse deserts then server came back to say that there is only one dessert remaining. One of the plate saucers were dirty and had to send it away. Our white table cloth had very noticeable stains on it. Food was good tho. I didn't know it was going to be located at a hotel. I hated the valet parking situation... seemed to sketchy. Food was good... but I would not return
Everything was nice my steak was perfect!! Only issue was someone’s baby at the next table kept crying! You could tell staff was trying to defuse the situation without being mean to those customers all and all experience was great!!
Dining and service was awesome we will be back
You know it’s a bad sign when every table has something wrong with their dining experience. That’s what we witnessed at the Buckhead location. The silverware had hair on them and remnants of food to start our evening off. The service from our waitress ‘tae’ was great and my wife’s filet and lobster were great, along with the creamed spinach and brussels sprouts. However, the lobster bisque was bitter any my $54 NY strip was OVERCOOKED well past well done(I ordered it medium well). The manager tried to come out and educate me on how the steak which came out on a “500°” hot plate continues to cook the stake then proceeded to tell me to order my steak at a different temperature next time. The problem with that explanation is that the steak came out overcooked at well done in the beginning which at 500° only dries out the steak even more. I concede that I should have sent the steak back immediately but as a chef, I understand how annoying this can be. After trying to push through I couldn’t finish the overcooked steak. While the flavor of the steak was good and we were comped a dessert which had a hint of burnt plastic taste, it was very disappointing to pay for something that was improperly prepared.
Ridiculous! No seafood tower available, beer was served in a can, felt like I was at a dive bar, dinner was served before the warm bottle of wine arrived. Just a complete joke.
We were given a gift card pre Covid and had not used it. We came in and both decided on the Pre fix three course meal. We ordered drinks first and it took 25 minutes to receive them. The Lobster Bisque had two small pieces of lobster in it and was not very flavorful. It tasted like cream. The Caesar salad was good. The main course was good but the salmon was overdone. There are so many good restaurants in Atlanta. I would not go back and spend $168 for two people.
I finally dined at Ruth Chris for the first time while I was out in ATL for my 40th Birthday. The service could have been a little better, but the great tasting food made up for the service issue some. I enjoyed myself and will return.
Start to finish was amazing! We came here after leaving another restaurant down the street due to horrible service. This establishment made up for the bad time we had at the other restaurant! We will definitely return!
The scenery is very nice however the noise level was higher than I expected. The chicken breast was everything the steak wasn’t so bright nor the potatoes. First time trying Ruth Chris disappointed ☹️
So, there was a whole lot wrong with this experience. We had a Gift Certificate from a friend and after swearing off this place we thought we would give it a try. Our feelings always were that the price and the food never added up. But, it had been awhile so we gave it a go.
This restaurant is inside the embassy suites and feels like you are eating inside a banquet hall, not a usual Ruth Chris. Sliding doors keep you hidden as if in a closet.
The staff was very nice especially Tae kudos to you all I really enjoyed. My time there
Steak was under cooked and then overcooked. No seasoning to taste
Outstanding Dining and excellent service every time
Anniversary dinner for the wife and I. Seafood tower was pretty good. Lots of meat. Steak was subpar and lobster tail was over cooked. This was our first time trying Ruth Chris and probably the last. Definitely over hyped!
Everything was perfect!!.
The food was delicious. Good service too.
My wife's steak was awful she ordered the fillet and it was very tough, the rest of ours was great
Everything was perfect. Our server Conrad was excellent. Food was delicious and Conrad just made it much more better.
Service was great. Everyone was great. Our steaks were not as ordered but they made it right and out late lunch meeting was just perfect.
Wow. What a place to celebrate and have an amazing steak. The service and environment were incredible and so simple at the same time!
Tae was an amazing host. Food was sizzling when it came out and portions were great.
