The steak was amazing
Extremely disappointed. Renovation 30 ft from dining room was really loud. In addition, entire restaurant had a stale, musty smell. Service was sub-par at best. Our server seemed irritated when I commented that the side we had ordered was very poor quality. The replacement side we got wasn’t good either, server seemed disinterested. Server took a long time to check back when we finally got our food. We all ordered salads and they were average at best.
Won’t ever be back.
Ruth’s Chris always hits the spot. You MUST get the stuffed chicken! The Mac and cheese is delicious too and do NOT leave without trying the sweet potato soufflé!
Noise level was off the chart loud unfortunately. Theres no cozy area for a date, it's like you are all in this one open room. Not the atmosphere we were hoping for. Have to go upstairs to use restroom due to remodel. The food was fantastic! If you can get the other pieces to flow with the food it would be 5 across the board.
I've eaten here many times over the years. Construction is really impacting the mood and the feeling you're eating somewhere nice. Definitely time to replace the carpet there. I also remember when RC would try to relegate families with children to an area away from guests having a more quite, romantic meal. I know its hard and times have changed, but it was a huge distraction. Probably time to rethink the footprint of the bar, as you need more room for patrons and traffic from guests heading to their tables. Food was amazing as always and Dan was an excellent server.
Wait staff was amazing, food was great. Had a tremendous time with our leadership team.
The cowboy ribeye steak w/au jus was delicious. I really think Ruth Chris is serving the most flavorful steak I have ever tasted. Hubby had the Chilean sea bass entre, and it was delicious, as well. Our sides were au gratin potatoes and corn. Both were delicious. We also ordered mashed potatoes, but we never received those. Dressing on the Caesar salad was uneventful -- we really did not taste it. Coffee was delicious. Bread was warm and delicious, and the accompanying butter was soft enough to spread. For desert, we shared the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream. This was delicious also, and I like it because the cake is not overly sweet. Our server did a great job exercising a good balance between leaving us alone and checking to ensure we were OK. He was apologetically surprised to hear that we did not receive our mashed potatoes, and we honestly did not miss the dish until I saw it listed on my bill. This Ruth's Chris Steak House is located inside Embassy Suites Hotel in Buckhead. Unfortunately, renovations took away from entry ambiance, and we were inconvenienced by having to leave the restaurant to take the elevator to a hotel room to use the restroom. Evidentially, restroom facilities for the restaurant were also part of renovations. Also, my Hubby kept pointing out that some guests were wearing tennis shoes and ball caps even though attire required business casual with no tennis shoes or ball caps unless guests were sitting in the bar / lounge area. I think they need to be consistent with that business casual attire requirement.
Ruth Chris service, ambiance and food never disappoints. Our visit was excellent!
Food was great. Renovation we were not aware . Service was mediocre at best. We were celebrating our 40 and 45 b days together. Waiter seemed really bothered by the idea of offering complimentary bubble and dessert. Food was great though. Renovation was terrible. Had to use restroom in a hotel too on second floor:
Dress code not enforced and it seemed like the ha g out place.
Great atmosphere as it was a busy weekend here in Atlanta. We were seated 45 minutes earlier than our reservation which was great. Our server, Frank was excellent. I was surprised that they offered a 4 course meal for around $60. Everything was tasty. Only thing, my medium ribeye steak was a little overcooked. But, I blame myself for not remembering that the plate is 700 degrees at time of service. The meat is still cooking! I’ll go with medium-rare next time and it will be perfect! Overall, great food and faster service than what I was expecting for a Friday night.
Excellent service by Adam. Food was good . Although I’ve had better at other high end steakhouses . The Restaurant’s location.and ambiance just didn’t feel like your eating in a high end steakhouse. The construction in the hotel and restaurant made it worse . You have to walk through a labyrinth of people in the bar to enter the main dining room. And to top it off the restroom is located on the 2nd floor in what seem like a cheap motel room!! Very sketchy and was actually creeped out going in there. You have to watch your back going in there coz you never know who can follow you in there. It seemed unsafe in my opinion. Just wasn’t a good experience overall for us.
My family ate at the Buckhead Ruth's Chris on Christmas Day. This location is located inside the Embassy Suites in Buckhead and is under construction. The restaurant is basically being ran out of several conference rooms on the main level of the hotel. I have dined at many Ruth's Chris and I know that the set up this location is providing is not up to the standard of a traditional Ruth's Chris. The conference rooms are outdated and not decorated in the traditional fashion of this steakhouse chain. The restrooms were located on the second floor and the women's restroom was actually in a hotel room - this is unacceptable and a safety risk for patrons. The lobby of the restaurant had a sign displaying the "business casual" dress code of the restaurant.. almost every table in our dining room was filled with patrons wearing shorts, t shorts, and even flip flops. My family was dining here for Christmas Dinner - we were dressed for the occasion and expected the restaurant to enforce the dress code. The entire atmosphere was horrible. Then comes the service, which was even worse than the restaurant. The hostesses seemed stressed and seated us 20 minutes after our reservation. Our waitress rushed us and even refused to give recommendations on the wine list, actually saying, "we have a wine list that you can read from and pick from." One of the glasses of wine had a bug in it. When this was mentioned to the waitress she snatched the glass up and said "I'll bring a new one" - no apology. The ONLY shining moment was the food, which lived up the name. Our bill was almost $300 - we were provided with a horrible atmosphere and even worse service. If all that this location can offer is the Ruth's Chris food, they should consider closing until construction is complete and they can train their staff. The food is not worth the price of the steakhouse. I complained to a manager, who apologized and offered no remedy. This experience was terrible, and I would never recommend this locati
They are undergoing renovations right now and I am not sure how they are handling their reservations. We had a 5:30 reservation on Christmas Day and did not get sat until after 6:00. We were in a small room with 3 large groups so it was rather noisy and loud. The service provided by Janine and Mark was wonderful and the food was great (filet, shrimp and pork chop). The parking is shared with the hotel Embassy so it can get a little busy with getting cars parked and returned. Hopefully once the renovations are done it will be a nicer place to visit and the reservations will be sat promptly.
UNDER RECONSTRUCTION, OVER CROWDED, TABLES ALMOST TOUCHING, LIKE DINNER IN A NYC SUBWAY.
WAITER ALOOF, NEEDS RETRAINING.
WAITED 45 MINUTES AFTER PLACING ENTREE ORDER FOR MANGER TO MADE A LAME BLAME ON THE KITCHEN, MOST OF FOOD COLD WHEN FINALLY ARRIVED.
OTHER TABLES AROUND US WERE IN PURGATORY ALSO!!
HOWEVER, WE SURVIVED CHRISTMAS AND ARRIVED HOME ALIVE
GOOD CHANCE WE WILL NOT RETURN.
Adam was a great server.
Excellent as usual
Our server, Dan was particularly A bonus for the whole experience.
Our waiter, Dan, was absolutely amazing! He took care of us and made sure everything came out correctly. He was friendly, fun and had great service all around. Our food was tasty and came out hot. Definitely recommend!
Excellent service and the food was very good. The restaurant needs updating .
This was our first time and this location. Excellent customer service and we will be back ‼️
Great date night with my wife. Can’t wait to come back!
Delicious as always. Devine was divine and really took great care of us. The chopped salad and filet were perfect and we always love the bbq shrimp.
I loved the food it was great !!!!! I will most def come again
Terrible experience. Worst Ruth’s Chris I have ever been to and I’ve been in many cities.
Amazing! I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and neither of us had been there before and we enjoyed EVERYTHING!! By far one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at. And that sweet potato casserole is LIFE (that means it’s good). The service was also great. We will be returning.
Everything was good as usual. Bone in filet was outstanding. Best onion rings in Atlanta
Excellent service and food. The construction was the only downside to hurting the ambiance of the dining experience.
It was a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving!
This Ruth Chris disappointed me. I’ve been to others that were much more appealing. The decor needs to be updated, the lobby of hotel was under construction, security guard on premises? ( what was that about?), the waiter messed up the salad orders, generally disappointed in this place along with overpriced food.
Food was very hot and delicious.
Just not the same bad before. . . . .
First time visiting Ruth Chris Buckhead, if I had never been to another Ruth Chris location; I would never go again. The level of service compared to other locations was subpar, I had to wait on my drinks being refilled several times, the porterhouse wasnt prepared to order. Overall the dining experience at this location just didnt meet expectations that you pay the premium price for, very disappointing.
The music was depressing af & kinda sucked & took away from the awesome service & food! Other than that it was amazing
The food was fantastic, and the service was Amazing from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Ruth's Chris Buckhead.
This restaurant is a construction zone. This should be disclosed with reservations.
Though pricey, the food was very good. The chilled seafood tower and lobster mac and cheese were to die for. The server was attentive and the drink I had tasted very fresh.
Wonderful server named Tristian
The food was great. The service was great. We really enjoyed ourself.
Visited many RC over the years...this one is different. It lacks the ambiance of other high end locations. Food and service were very good, and even received a chef's treat of BBQ shrimp mid meal. No complaints other than less 'sophisticated ' ambiance than other locations. Neighboring hotel Embassy Suites has some construction going on that affects only the RC entrance.
Food was great and service was friendly. Highly recommend.
