Food and service was excellent so a bit pricey for casual dining
Food was as expected for Ruth's Chris. However, the service was far below standard for this restaurant.
Anniversary dinner. Awesome experience as usual!!
We returned to Ruth's Chris for another fine meal. The cowboy ribeye was excellent and my wife enjoyed the lamb chops. Service was great and especially our server Keith who was very congenial and effecient.
This was our second trip to Ruth Chris - Bonita Springs and while the food was again outstanding, the service was again uneven. Last year a server spilled an entire drink in my lap as soon as we sat down (with no make good offer made) and this year we waited 45 min between our drinks and apps and I ordered a glass of Cabernet before our steaks were delivered and it didn’t arrive until we were almost done with dinner. Again, the food was great, but the service kept it from being five stars.
Our 49th anniversary dinner was outstanding, thanks to superior service from Erica, and the always fantastic food! The bone in filet is beyond description!
Steak was excellent, sea food tower great. Shoestring fries arrived cold. Service was great.
Birthday celebration for three in our party. I cannot rave enough about Sherry, our server, and Peter the night manager. Without their care it would not have been the same
Delicious meal. Very well trained and knowledgeable waiter.
Food was excellent!!! Service was excellent (Chris) great atmosphere. It was my wife’s birthday, could not be a better place to celebrate it. At the end of the meal our server brought a birthday dessert. Very nice touch. I highly recommend!!!
Quality was divine. Service exceptional. Could not ask for more
Failed to a knowledge our special occasion but our server, Keith, was excellent.
We sat outside because I take my dog and they are always so friendly and nice. Food is fantastic
We went with the extended family to celebrate a birthday. The meal was great and the service was excellent. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the side dishes were tasty. We ordered a couple different desserts and all of them delicious.
Very good food and service.
Always outstanding from start to finish!
Always great food and service
As always, this restaurant is tops in every way. It is a great place to go when you want to relax, have great food and quality service, especially with Brian as our server. We were there with my daughter’s family, who were here for a visit, and it was a wonderful evening to catch up with everybody with a truly unhurried wonderful meal.
I brought my son and his two children, ages 4 and 9 (and an iPad for the 4 year old). We all enjoyed our meals very much. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, and the sides were excellent. Our server, Sherry, was outstanding, she managed to socialize a bit as well as provide wonderful service.
Thanks to all at Ruth's Chris, We will be back again soon.
Busy atmosphere , food came too fast ...,but otherwise great
Perfect place to go !!!
Dinner was excellent. Upon arrival we were greeted and had to wait for our table. We stood in the door area waiting as no one told us what direction the bar was located. Also there were no seats in the area of door to sit on.
It was delicious
Amazing, we had the filet, NY Strip, and the Sea bass. All were perfect.
The restaurant was very busy. Thank goodness we had reservations. We were promptly seated. Our waiter, Matt was very informative and attentive. My husband and 2 others at our table had petite filets which were perfectly cooked. They all raved about their meal. I had Chilean sea bass. It looked scrumptious when served but unfortunately it was fishy, which is not what I would have expected at Ruth’s Chris. Next time I will stick with steak
Exceelnt filets and reasonable with Ruth Chris Classic Menu
Food was good - steaks were great . Sea bass was average or slightly below. Our waiter was great. but had a problem with waiter's assistant at the end of the meal. We had to get up and find someone to clear the table. We have had better experiences at Ruth's Chris. Overall B- this time out.
Seated promptly when we arrived with reservations
7 diners all thouroughly enjoyed their meals
Able to bring our own wine
Well worth the corkage fee
Service as always above average
Wonderful food and service celebrating my wife's birthday.
Once again, everything about our experience was stellar! You can't come here on a budget....but the food, service and atmosphere is so awesome that it is worth every penny. My steak was cooked so perfectly, I wanted to put it on display...but then I came to my senses, cut through it like butter and savored every bite!!
Steaks are made to perfection. My 20 year old son who is a college football player devoured the Tomahawk steak (I think it is 40 oz). All food was prepared perfectly for everyone. Fun times and the waitress was very attentive
We had a terrible dining experience. The young man pouring water was the best service we had all night. The kitchen was so backed up and the waiter ignored us knowing how upset we were.
Evidently, we were not the only unhappy customers that night. For this level of restaurant, it was unacceptable, disappointing and embarrassing to our guests.
Great service and a wonderful waiter. We had a great 5 th Anniversary diner
Ruth's Chris is consistent throughout their franchise. Always great food usually great staff.
Service was outstanding.
Great food, the service was a bit spotty. Showed up and they told us that our table is being cleared but we did not get seated until 15 minutes later.
Birthday for son
Received our salad and main entree showed up before we had a chance to finish salad. My wife ordered the salad with NO onions and sure enough it had onion so had to prepare another salad and had to eat it after entree. Timing was not good. At least they didn’t charge for the second salad. The food was great but service was way off. Bread came late also.
I have been going to Ruth’s Chris for over 30 years! I’ve also attended the Estero location for the last 8+ years. We even had our sons wedding rehearsal dinner there. Last night I was celebrating my 60th birthday and it was the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The service was awful! We had to ask several times to get water glasses filled, we requested items that were ignored and we asked questions that were ignored and food ordered was not brought out with our dinner (we had to ask for it again). While we were actually eating our dinner, the assistant waiter was trying to remove our plates from the table. The “typical” birthday dessert was not provided and they didn’t give us the standard picture taken for special events. In addition, the manager, Peter, never came to our table to greet us and to wish me a happy birthday however he did go to the table next to ours to wish them a happy birthday and the sad part is that Peter knows who we are. We have talked to him several times over the years! After so many negative situations, Peter did tell our waiter to give us “whatever they want” however he did not approach our table or look us in the eye! I did find Peter before I left the Resturant and confronted him and all he had to say was that he was sorry! Too little to late was what I told him! I also told him he should be ashamed of himself! As a manger of such a high end Resturant, customer service should be top priority! We paid $400 to eat there last night! Personally I think he should be fired! However, that is not my job to do that but I will never attend that location again and I will never recommend Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Estero, FL. I wish they would have allowed Steve DeCastro who owns many Ruth’s Chris to run that location instead of keeping it corporate!
VERY DISAPPOINTING! I won’t turn 60 again and our night was ruined and it was embarrassing as we had talked up the Resturant to our dinner guest!
