Ruth's Chris Steak House - Biloxi Ratings and Reviews
It doesn't get any better than this. So glad that Biloxi has a quality restaurant of the caliber. The filet is to die for! Always cooked to perfection. Even on Valentine's Day, which was very busy, they handled it with ease. The attention to details and the service is spot on. Love this place!
We always eat at Ruth's Chris when we are in Biloxi for business. Although this last time it seemed to me that the whole experience was kind of like going to McDonalds. It was hurried and we felt like we were being rushed to turn the table. It wasn't a dining experience that is for sure. Now the food was good and so was the service, but not the fine dining experience we sometimes experience there......it was kind of like a very busy deli at lunch time. Anyway we will probably go again someday, but may try Morton's for a change.
This was a return visit due to the outstanding service/food that I had on my initial visit. The food was awesome, but the service from the Team of Andrew and Steve was amazing. The managers were both visible, visited the table, and made certain we were happy. I look forward to returning the next time I'm in town. p.s. I left my phone and when I returned to retrieve it, it was not found at first. Upon my insistence of looking for it myself, it was found by Andrew due to it having fallen through the crack in the seat. Thank you again RC :)
We always look forward to our trips to Biloxi and Dinner at Ruth’s. It was our 40th anniversary ,so we decided to head to the coast since we had just gotten home from California. SO much activity from wait staff it was distracting, almost stressful. My husband’s steak was delicious and our drinks were devine‼️I ordered BBQ shrimp and was terribly disappointed. Potatoes were runny making me think they were instant. NO flavor to shrimp at all:( seemed steamed. I have the recipe for this dish, so I know how it is supposed to look and taste. Totally missed the mark on this dish. Service for our table was perfect! Next time I will stick with steak, but I feel like you should expect quality if it is on the menu. Wish I could give a better review, but not this trip.
Service was, as always, outstanding. Jasmine is the best, attentive without being hovering, always pleasant. Wife asked for her filet without pepper seasoning, Her steak came WITH pepper and my NY strip came without (I like the house seasoning). For some reason the mashed potatoes are hit or miss as for them being served hot, this time they were not. I would suggest the Au Gratin potatoes if you like your food hot. The salads were fresh and crisp. This was probably our 20th visit to this particular Ruth's Chris'. The food was not up the their standards.
Everything was awesome until the waiter presented the check. I was still enjoying my coffee and having a nice conversation with my husband. The waiter kept coming to the table to get the check and i guess i was his last table. I finally told him after spending 180.00 for 2 people, i didn’t think i was going to rushed out the door. I paid him so he could go on his merry way, other than that the meal was exceptional, the ambiance was romantic and this is like my 5th visit to this location. I was totally disappointed that the waiter upset me. M
Very Disappointing. We had dinner reservations for New Years Eve. After we ordered, the server retuned to advise that they had run out of the item we wanted the evening before. I would have expected them to replenish their product before such a busy night. We re-ordered and when our food was delivered, my surf and turf came with only 1 Lobster Tail instead of 2. I am not even sure if the server would have told me had I not pointed it out. He then informed me that they had run out of lobster tails and would discount my meal. I would have preferred to have known in advance as I might have made a different selection. Both steaks were undercooked (very rare instead of medium rare), and our side dishes were cold. The only good thing about the experience was the bottle of wine we had with dinner.
I’ve eaten at Ruth’s Chris in New Orleans many times and I expected the same level of service and food quality but I was mistaken. We were a table of 5 - 4 of which ordered steak. Of the 4 steaks 2 were not prepared as ordered which is unacceptable for a steakhouse. One guest ordered a coke 3 times with our server twice and a bus person once - that coke was never brought to the table but was on the bill. I ordered the banana cream pie which is usually delicious but this time the crust was undercooked and the banana slices atop the cream pie were hard and not ripe. Our server did not check on us regularly therefore we waited for water refills and did not bother sending back the 2 undercooked steaks. We had a concert to get to so didn’t bother telling a manager.
The good points were very good cocktails, side dishes were all very good as expected and my broiled lobster appetizer was cooked perfectly.
Our holiday meal was outstanding as always. We had a mid-afternoon reservation and arrived to a near-empty dining area. It was a bit disturbing when the next guests arrived and were taken to a seat right by us. It disturbed them as well as us, that with an entire dining room available, the hostess explained that they HAD to be seated in the booth immediately next to us. They were unhappy and left. Just couldn't understand this unwillingness to use all space available and give guests some room and space for quiet conversation. But, the food was great and our service from this point on was excellent!
Excellent dinner with the steaks being cooked to perfection. Side dishes rivaled the steaks. The restaurant was fairly busy for a Wednesday evening and as such, the service was a little slow going. However, our meal came in a very timely manner and the wait staff were extremely professional. Our table had a great dining experience and we will return the next time in town.
With it being the first holiday without my dad, we chose to go to a nice restaurant (something I don’t agree with doing because I hate anyone has to work on a holiday but couldn’t bring myself to cook this year without my dad). The food was outstanding as usual and the staff was very nice. It was very nice and it took our minds off a sad day.
Brought my staff of 10 in for our annual Christmas party. I had read the reviews before we went. Everything was excellent!! Larry and Chris were our waiters, ask for them they were on time and so polite. Will be back!! The food was perfect, appetizers were delicious and loved the sweet potato casserole side dish!!
The meal was exquisite. My friends and I enjoyed all of the items ordered. We shared the side items, I recommend the lobster mac & cheese, and the creamed spinach. The wait staff was impeccable, anticipating our every need. It was a memorable evening for us.
We went on a Saturday evening for my retirement celebration with my best friend and wife. We split a wedge salad with blue cheese. She had the lamb chops, I had the New York strip steak. We shared creamed spinach and Cremeni mushrooms. We ordered our meat medium and it was perfect! Pink and extremely tender. The wedge salad was good, I liked it better a few years ago when they but English walnuts and a bit more bacon on it, but still very good with the homemade blue cheese dressing. We finished our dinners with coffee and baileys. Our waitress heated up the baileys and poured the coffee at the table.. a nice touch. Cost was typical for really nice restaurant, about a $100 a person.
Have dined at Ruth’s Christ at the hard rock casino Biloxi many times. This is our first rough experience. Food and drinks consistent. Service very rocky. Felt abandoned after first course. No service for at least 20 minutes. Then I had to “ahem” the manager to take away our empty glasses and dirty plates.
He did comp our next round and things moved quickly thereafter. I hate that I had to bring their attention to the issue, but it was rectified appropriately.
Still would recommend highly....
