Ruth's Chris Steak House - Beverly Hills Ratings and Reviews
This location is much much better that the Anaheim location. All of the food was good. My only complaint was my caesar salad. The lettuce looked old and had that signature reddish brown old look that romaine gets which might be acceptable at a lower quality restaurant but shouldn't be acceptable at a nice steak restaurant. I stayed quiet about it though because my boyfriend doesn't like when I make a fuss. :) The service was great and our table was nice. Overall good time.
No other place to spend one’s 50th birthday dinner, even if I wasn’t a self proclaimed foodie and obsessed with the bone-in filet...
Even if...this was just about the most perfectly executed meal from start to finish, I’d make the same selections next time. Thanks for the birthday martini, professionalism, good humor and a memorable night!
I was a bit concerned upon check in because we had a 5:30 reservation but didn't get seated until 5:50. It was crowded outside with no where to sit.
But, once we were seated the service was great and the food was excellent. This is our second time at Ruth for Thanksgiving. They have perfected the traditional turkey dinner!
The food was good, but service was very slow. My food came out about 15 minutes after the rest of the food. They did comp my meal but my husband wouldn't eat until I got my food, which left his cold. The whole meal took 3 hours, which was too long for the kids. The server was vey nice to the kids. Also, I told him we had 2 birthdays at the table and they didn't bring birthday desserts.
Very reliable steak dinner, which is one of Ruth's Chris strengths -- one can count on the steak. The check in area is tiny and congested, our initial table was really disappointing but we moved to a nice banquette in the bar area and that was nice. Our server, Abigail, was terrific. Overall, a very nice meal.
Minor quibble -- we've been to this restaurant about 20 times. Not looking for anything special but a "Welcome back" might be nice -- can't the staff see from OpenTable data that we're repeat customers?
We had a great birthday celebration at Ruth's Chris-- complete with sprinkles and "happy birthday" glitter on the table. Chris was our server and he and the wait staff were excellent and helpful with our dining experience. Steaks are out of this world as are the sides and Creme Burlee. Portions are generous and they are are always willing to split your dishes for you at the table. The room is nice and clean. Valet parking in front of public parking north on the same block ($5 flat rate after 6pm).
There may be other trendier/hipper steak houses in Beverly Hills but Ruth's Chris is the best food... and you can actually hear the people you are dining with.
This was our 2nd time visiting the restaurant. The food and drink, as before, were excellent. And they take service very seriously here, and you will be well taken care of.
But just make sure you leave enough time. We came in 2 hours before we had to be at an event and still ended up having to cancel our dessert so we could leave in time. Was still a wonderful meal, however!
We've been going to Ruth's Chris in Beverly Hills for years. The staff keeps changing and the service has gotten worse and worse. One of the staff actually picked up my friend's plate and dumped the leftovers into a take home box. He actually slung the steak and potato like it was slop. The manager wasn't even appalled by it. We were shocked. Another regular customer told us that they have noticed the service getting worse and worse and the constant change in staff. Instead, we recommend Morton's steakhouse on La Cienega in Beverly Hills. It is so much nicer and has wonderful service. The steaks are delicious and they have so many options for sides.
The name speaks for itself. But it's the service that sets it apart. Major kudos to Michael and Raphael for making this a truly special evening. Gentlemen, the establishment is lucky to have you as you elevate the dining experience to what it is meant to be: a pleasant and memorable evening that lacks nothing. Thank YOU.
This was our second time there in the last year or so ... LOVE the steak with the 500 degree plate, butter and seasoning. Can NOT be beat! Everything we ordered were the "recommended" dishes in red and all were wonderful. Quiet enough to hear each other speak, we had a lovely table with a birds eye view of the room and the wait staff was AMAZING. So attentive and professional.
It was our anniversary and we were both looking for a simple yet good steak, so we chose RUTH'S CHRIS. It did not disappoint. We had a really great waiter, Francisco, who recommended the Cowboy Ribeye. He did not lead me astray! I had probably the best steak I've ever had. Tender and juicy, perfectly cooked-- it was amazing. The Ceasar salad and crab cake started were delicious as well. From the service to the festive heart sprinkles on the table to the lovely cheesecake..... it was a great meal! Definitely, try the Cowboy Ribeye! It's worth it!!
