Ruth's Chris Steak House - Baton Rouge Ratings and Reviews
we dine there frequently and as always it never disappoints. The owner came to say Hi which was a nice touch . Best restaurant in the state of Louisiana and best steak house in the country. We are foodies and travel extensively just to eat at good places. The Ruth Chris in New York was so bad and the ones in Honolulu, Maui and San Francisco were just okay.
Ruth's Chris never disappoints. Consistently terrific in every area for decades now. Delicious, comfortable but refined, impeccable service. Menu is traditional and attention to every dish means it may be the best you've had. Very accommodating and helpful to the Celiacs in our party.
Even though it was really busy with Christmas parties the service was excellent as usual. Loved my filet cooked to perfection. We splurged and split the cheese cake with blueberries which is the best I’ve ever had. Defiantly the best steak house in town. Don’t bother going any place else
The service was absolutely amazing. It is one of Baton Rouge's more expensive/fancier choices, but it is worth it. One of our cocktails took a little while to come out, 5-7 minutes tops, and not only did they voluntarily take it off our bill, but the manager even came up and apologized. It was a great experience.
Wonderful place to have an Anniversary dinner. The dinner was awesome. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Best of all, they have a wait staff that knows sign language and it makes our dining experience an enjoyable one. Nice wait staff that works in our table took time to learn few sign language! Also a manager too!
I hadn’t been there in a bit, but the food is EXCELLENT. Steaks are cooked to perfection and the sides are always more than an aside (the Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese come to mind). The fact that the owner remembers that I’m from Chicago (as is he) and a SOX fan and NOT a Cubs fan was an added bonus. This place is pretty awesome. Highly recommended.
