Ruth's Chris Steak House - Baton Rouge Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I go to Ruth's Chris several times a year. This time it was for his birthday. Everyone was wonderful to us. The food, as usual, was really excellent. Our waiter took his time as we asked him to do so and was very courteous without "hanging" over us. It is one of the few restaurants that you can always count on for good food, good service and a good atmosphere --very consistent.
The service is what makes this place special. The food is good but I have has as good at half the price. The place feels very dated with acoustical tile ceilings and a very bland dining room. All that said the staff is amazing and they are the reason I would pay $150 for diner again.
we dine there frequently and as always it never disappoints. The owner came to say Hi which was a nice touch . Best restaurant in the state of Louisiana and best steak house in the country. We are foodies and travel extensively just to eat at good places. The Ruth Chris in New York was so bad and the ones in Honolulu, Maui and San Francisco were just okay.
