Ruth's Chris Steak House - Atlantic City Ratings and Reviews
Every time I visit AC , I go to Ruth Chris ! The location is perfect , the food was awesome ! My server Isameli ( sorry if I'm spelling it wrong ) was awesome !!!! The manager was nice as well . Also the host had a big smile on her face . I wish the employees in this location work at the Ruth Chris in Long Island NY , no comparison . AC RUTH CHRIS IS THE BEST. My meat was cooked perfect !!
I just finished a charity bicycle ride from Philadelphia to Atlantic City and wanted to treat myself and my wife to a nice dinner. I've heard that the steaks were good at Ruth Chris, so I made a reservation on line. It was very easy and I received a confirmation message prior to my arrival.
We arrived a little early and were seated immediately. We go out to eat often and I don't ever remember this happening before. Our steaks were cooked just as we asked and the plates were heated, to keep our food hot while we ate.
What I did not expect was such excellent service during our meal. Everyone was great. I have to give special thanks to our server and the manager.
Our server Connie (Constance) was fantastic. She was kind and attentive without being overbearing. The manager Matt came over to introduce himself and check on on us. He was genuinely interested in why we were there and that we were enjoying ourselves. He wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible. He insisted on personally making us our dessert, Bannans Foster, table side for us.
We had such a great experience that night. We left feeling like we made new friends, more than just another dinner.
Restaurant was hot and humid and extremely uncomfortable! Experience was unbearable and I couldn't wait to get out. Steak was flavorless. All of the wait staff was so hot they were sweating. Kind of nasty when they are delivering your food. Not an experience I expect from Ruth's Chris. I have been to others on many occasions and never had an experience like this.
Was not as impressed as I have been in the past. No onion soup, and steak was not cooked to perfection. Service felt much more casual than we would have liked. I've eaten at numerous locations from East to West Coasts, and most recent two experiences were lacking of polish and finesse. For the money, I expected more and didn't get it. Have to re-think if I ever want to return to any location. Been eating here since their beginnings in Louisiana.
Filet with the lump crab is amazing every time .
Our server was not up to the level required for 5 star dining .
Our table water was served room temp, no ice.
We had to ask for our bread to arrive after 25 minutes of being seated.
Our lemon drop martinis were average which is a bummer as our last experience here they were top notch.
Ruths Chris is still one my top 3 of favorite fine dining places to go.
This was yet another successful dinner for my girl! !! She was so satisfied with everything that I'll keep bringing her back whenever she wants! !! I too love this place & it will always be my go to place to come for special occasions & to refer to coworkers and friends & family! ! Thx again for a wonderful experience, time after time! !!
We visit this location at least 5 times a year and noticed that the service continues to get worse it appeared that they were understaffed on our last visit our server paid no attention to us as she had to many tables with no other support from the other staff probably won't go back there are other restaurants at those costs that will treat there guest better
We have been to this Ruth's Chris many times. I think it needs an update ,and it was very hot in the dining room. When we mentioned it being soo warm ,they said they were aware of the problem and did what they could , it was a bit better.
We did enjoy the meal, however it is very pricey, for what we had.
This visit to Ruth's Chris was not up to my past experiences at this expensive chain. There were 2 of us, we each got the seasonal dinner. Soup was great, but the salad was over-dressed. The chicken was good, but a little overly salted. The shrimp and steak main came with tasty shrimp, but the small filet was only so-so. (A steakhouse should know a filet has to be properly seared to bring out its flavor; mine wasn't.) Sides were good, but a little too much butter. We upgraded one dessert; the banana cream pie had excellent cream, but a tough crust. Service was excellent, and this a lovely restaurant to spend some time. But, the food fell a short of our expectations.
Food was great, as expected (why we chose this place) service horrible which is a let down for a place we are used to dining at. Our orders didn't come out as placed and then we sat so close to the kitchen that we heard the server go back in an call out all her mistakes. My forks were taken and when the food came out I was picking with my hands because what else was I to do at such a hungry time ?! Water was spilt while being poured. Not the right time or place for calorie jokes when the food runner brought out our sides, very inappropriate. And lastly there was garbage on the floor where we sat. Really regret spending the money with such horrible service. I guess it was just one of those days...
We sat in our favorite corner booth in the bar as requested. Zac the bar tender was our waiter. He asked who the "birthday person" was and gave his congratulations. Two of us hit the Ruth's classics menu for steak and one went with the Chilean sea bass. The was was (as usual) delicious and cook to perfection. We had the bread pudding desert and a double order of the Bananas Foster. Delicious. I love using Open Table to make my reservations. Very convenient and it works well....MickeyD
We celebrated Father's Day on 6/18/17 and had a fabulous meal and time. My husband took advantage of the steak special and absolutely, without doubt, enjoyed his meal and the wine. This was our second dining experience and we will undoubtedly return. The pecan crusted sweet potato casserole is always a winner! The service on both occasions was outstanding and they are attentive to you as their guest. I love the fact that valet parking is free with only a ticket stamp!
The food was absolutely amazing, I don't think I've ever had a better steak. You have to be prepared to spend quite a bit of money but it was worth it for a special occasion. The only negative about the day was that the AC had to be broken. We asked the waiter a few times about it and he said he was told it was turned on but there no way because he was dripping sweat. That was a bit of a disappointment. We will definitely be returning again next year.
We had an amazing experience. The host was very very pleasant, our waitress was amazing and the food was awesome. Celebrating our 15yr wedding anniversary, could not have asked for a better evening. Hopefully, I don't have to wait another 15 years to go back !!
Food and service was excellent. We started with our 12 oysters to share for my wife and I. Oysters were excellent but two of them had little or no meat. When we brought it to our servers attention he came back with seven more at no additional cost. The steaks were perfect as usual and the hit plates keep them hot. Go for the mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. They are delicious. Try their banana cream pie. An unusual pleasing presentation it was delicious. I would have Prefered a thicker cream filling, however.
We had came several times for special occasion and the steak was always good but this time I tried a different dish which was Chilean sea bass and it tasted very fishy. The manager asked me if I want to order something different but I refused because I don't want to eat while everybody else has finished their meal.My husband ordered a steak which was good and I like the roasted corn side dish. But overall I was disappointed because they didn't make my order right.
We go to RC's every year for my friend's birthday. It is his favorite steak restaurant. Our server Mike was very accommodating and the two steak eaters raved about their boneless rib eyes.
My caprese salad was excellent. The tomatoes were sweet and delicious. Really a large portion with good value. Seafood gumbo is great if you like a little "kick" to it.
Sides were very good-vegetarian plate for $25 (three sides instead of a la carte higher price) is worth it. Birthday customers get a free dessert of delicious bread pudding and ice cream.
