Ruth's Chris Steak House - Atlantic City Ratings and Reviews
Excellent food that is somewhat overpriced but good for a special occasion. My drink was not nearly as good as what I've had in the bar area during cocktail hour...somewhat disappointing there, but my son enjoyed his. Overall a nice place for a special occasion and the steaks are really outstanding.
As always, friendly staff takes care of you as you enter and leave. Manager stopped by and asked about our experience, even lowered the lights at our table. New menu with complete meals is very nice, and the dessert was wonderful. They have a new Fall menu
coming out this week.
We hadn't bee to Ruth's Chris in many years and sine we had a $100. Gift card decoded to use it for my birthday.
We were a party of three and we were seated next to a party of 18. After a minute realizing we couldn't hear each other my son asked to be moved. They were very accommodating and put us in a booth in the bar which was perfect
The steaks were perfectly cooked and very delicious. My husbands pork chop was also excellent and huge
Prices are high but the quality is exceptional
The au gratin potatoes and Brussels sprouts were a meal in themselves
While I wouldn't go there frequently, I do recommend it for a special occasion
My husband and I went this past Saturday for our 1 year anniversary. When we were seated they placed rose pedals on our table and told us happy anniversary. Our waiter was extremely friendly and informative. We ordered from the classic menu(3 course for either 49.99 or 59.99). I really enjoyed that regardless of us ordering from a promotional special there was no difference in service. Our food was delicious! They gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was delicious. Our special came with dessert but we were so stuffed we took them to go. I have to give our experience a 5 out of 5! We will definitely be returning in the future!
this was our first visit to Ruth Chris steakhouse and it did not disappoint.we dined early so there wasn’t much of a crowd and we enjoyed that very much. We valet parked next to the restaurant and had our ticket validated so it was free. My husband and I opted for the three course dinner option $49.95 a GREAT value for the money. My husband upgraded both his steak option and dessert for an extra $14 total. Our server Laura took great care of us. She brought us warm bread . We both ordered the house salad which was fresh and delicious . I had the petite filet with shrimp ..the steaks are served on VERY( 500 degrees) hot plates so if you like your steak medium well ...order it medium because the steak continues to cook even while you are eating it . The mashed potatoes we ordered were buttery delicious ! I had the apple dessert that came with the three course dinner and it was perfect finish . My husband had the creme brûlée and he devoured it! All in all a great experience !
My husband and I love Ruth's Chris steak house..... they're food is superb! Never had a bad meal at this restaurant! It is a little pricey. we have come here for special occasions in the past. NEVER disappointed. The steak is so tender almost fork tender. the flavor is great. perfectly cooked. recommend very highly.
Went to Ruth's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We started with the Osso Buco raviolis and they would have been absolutely fantastic, but they were luke warm. I thought whatever as I was not going to let this spoil our evening. We both ordered the Prime Rib for dinner. When that came to the table it was cold. I immediately notified our serve who took them back while apologizing for this. After a few minutes he returned with our meal and again it was only warm. After informing the server a second time he could not believe it either. The Manager on duty, Carly immediately came to our table apologizing for this but told me that Prime Rib is served at "room temperature". Made me think where does she eat at? Not wanting to debate the issue as it was our anniversary we changed to the Filet which came out as promised, on a sizzling plate and "Hot". This is the second time that we have gone to Ruth's and were served luke warm food. I believe that they have a temperature issue in the Kitchen. Very Disappointing!!
I went to Ruth Chris in Atlantic City on Saturday night. My friend had been wanting to try the restaurant for a while and we never seemed to have time. With it bring their birthday weekend and we were out of state celebrating, I thought it would be a great idea.
The food was fine but the waitress service was so, bad that it took away from our evening. We were done with our mails for a good 15 minutes before she came over. Once she came over to make sure we were ready to move onto dessert it took her another 15 minutes to bring our dessert out, an order that has been placed with our dinner. Yes, there was a happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate but having to wait so, long was unbelievable. Then we had to wait for the check another 15 minutes after finishing the dessert. The wait was so long, my friend was able to use the restroom, come back to the table and go to the parking lot get the car, pull it to the front of the restaurant and call me to find out if there was a problem.
I am unable to understand the delays considering the restaurant wasn't crowded at all. The experience was very disappointing.
Not good this time around. I brought my twin sisters out to dinner for their birthdays. I had mentioned on the reservation through Open Table that it was for a "birthday celebration" and also requested a round booth. Usually the host asks us as we walk to the table if it is any special occasion and still, nothing. We did not get a round booth but the couple that arrived behind us received one. When we got to the table, the side plate was dirty and our wine glass had a chip in it so we asked for new ones. Our waiter was very nice but was a bit slow when it came to ordering, when asking for more bread and asking for our check. When our entrees came out, there were fingerprints all over the side of our plates. I'm a frequent diner and I was embarrassed because I was raving about how great the place was to my guests. I apologized to my sisters on RC's behalf. I've never seen such a food presentation like this before. I was really disappointed. The food was delicious as always but my expectations are much higher for this restaurant. This is a fine dining restaurant that I pay good money to receive a certain service and it was not delivered.
Quality of steaks is top notch as always been. Cooked to perfection and loved the blue cheese crust on my Ribeye. Great wine selection by the bottle as well as by the glass. Service is just as good as the food, adding to an awesome experience. Will definitely visit again.
The GM, Matt, and our server went above and beyond to make a coming home dinner for my spouse extra special. The service was extraordinary and the meal and dessert were delicious. Thanks RC for never disappointing. We'll always make sure we go to RC every time we're in AC - you stole our business from Morton's! Thanks again!
Our faith in Ruth's Chris was restored here (great in NJ; bad in Dallas). The BBQ shrimp and filet mignon delicious. As usual, my favorite Harvest Salad was excellent. I discovered a new drink, it was basically a mandarin orange martini that was fabulous. Lastly, the banana cream pie was delicious but I think my idea of not carmelizing the top was better as the hot layer of sugar is not needed! Also, our bartender was just so sweet!
Have been here about 6 times over the past couple of years, each time the food, level of service and quality has been consistent. Their price is in line with similar establishments, but you get what you pay for.
Never had a bad meal here, they strive for excellence and customer satisfaction which they have continued to do so. And the reason we continue to return.
There are numerous steakhouses to eat in AC, Ruth Chris has the recipe to keep you coming back.
As you would expect, the food quality for a restaurant like Ruth Chris, is always very good. However, what brings me back time after time is the high quality and expertly trained staff. Dining in and around Atlantic City, we typically find college students working earning Summer funds as we all did but, no one takes the time to train them. Food is food, some of better quality and some of lessor quality but, it is the service that truly makes the experience worthwhile. Whoever hires and trains staff at this location obviously recruits and maintains the cream of the crop in the area. Hope they are paid well, as they deserve it.
We chose Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Atlantic City to celebrate our 47th Anniversary. We love coming to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse for special occasions. We were treated like royalty. The manager visited our table to extend his best wishes. The stuffed mushrooms were the best we have had in a long time. The lobster bisque is one of our favorites. We enjoyed lobster tail and petite filet, Chesapeake style. Saved the best for last - Bananas Foster for dessert - our very favorite. The service was outstanding. Zachery was great and prepared the Bananas Foster with appropriate finesse. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Atlantic City is the best!
This visit was a disappointment. On entry, the reception staff were not very welcoming. We were asked three times by two different individuals if we had a reservation. The response each time was YES! The Lyonnaise potatoes were horrible, dry and burned. I sent them back.
The only bright spot was the waitress. Service was excellent.
This was my last visit to this location!!
