One of the best Ruth’s Chris! Food and service was excellent.

The wait staff was friendly and attentive. This venue is doing outstanding with social distancing and COVID precautions.

I have been to Ruth Chris' in several cities in the US and they have all been great. This one was exceptional because of the fantastic service that we received from Elijah and Jacob at this location in Asheville. They are a great asset to the company. Great meal with attentive service. A pleasure.

We were celebrating our anniversary and decided to order fish which is sometimes risky in a steakhouse. My wife chose the sea bass special which was an exquisitely prepared huge portion. My salmon was equally delicious and prepared exactly to my specifications. Our waiter Jonathan was personable and well versed in the menu. His dessert recommendation was a perfect cap to a splendid meal.

I was not impressed with the food I ordered. The petite filet was over cooked and very tough to chew. The plate was very messy and unappealing. I expected more for the price.

Great Anniversary Date, service was excellent.

We went for our anniversary and had made reservations ahead of time. After a short wait, we were seated at a very nice, private booth as I had requested. Jonathan was our server, and he was very good. We discussed our wine choice with him, and he was very knowledgeable about the wine we chose (the wine was excellent). We shared a shrimp cocktail appetizer which was excellent. It was heavy on the horseradish so be forewarned! (We liked it though). We both ordered filets which were cooked to perfection. We chose creamed spinach and scalloped potatoes for sides, both were very good. Neither of us could finish our steak so we brought home a special treat for our dogs (they were very appreciative). The only downside was dessert. Their desserts don’t seem to measure up to the rest of the meal. My husband had bread pudding which was “too much bread and not enough pudding”. I had the cheesecake which was good, but nothing special. It was so huge that I brought most of it home and we both shared it the next day. All in all, it was a very nice evening. We had lots of good food so we’ll just skip dessert next visit.

The steaks are done perfectly, but very little seasoning. Kinda "ho-hum". NO matter which server is assigned to us, the service is EXCELLENT!

We had a wonderful experience for dinner. It was our anniversary and they were so sweet to offer us a glass of champagne. The meal came out perfect and when we declined dessert be sure we were so full they sweetly sent a dessert home with us. We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary. Our server was Elijah and he was amazing. I had the tomahawk with a lobster tail and my wife had the salmon. Both meals were great

From the time we pulled in until we left our experience was excellent. Valet parking was easy, we were welcomed at check-in by 2 young men that were professional and well mannered. We were in town from the Greenville, SC area and we usually go to Ruth Chris in Greenville, which is nice but I have to say that this was the best one we have visited. We will make it a point to visit here again when we are in Asheville. The atmosphere was so nice and our waiter Tony was awesome in every way. He made our dining experience even better. He was very engaging, offered great meal and drink suggestions. He was attentive, but not intrusive. Certainly an asset to the restaurant.

Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was delicious. I wasn't a fan of the mashed potatoes, but that could just be a personal preference. Overall, we truly enjoyed our dining experience.

Terrible food. It’s the 3rd time we have eaten at the Asheville location, and the 3rd really terrible meal. Someone gave us gift cards or we wouldn’t have gone the 3rd time. The quality of the steaks were extremely low. I returned mine after cutting it up for the manager to show the steak was all fat. He was deeply apologetic and replaced the steak with a different cut of my selection, and the steak arrived Well Done when I ordered a medium rare steak. The quality of the steaks were an issue for the other members at our table, on all three visits. Also, the dress code was beyond relaxed, presumably to enable more tourists to eat at the restaurant, but we were dressed appropriately, which was disappointing. For the price of steaks and a meal at that Ruth’s Chris location, go somewhere else. There are several high-end steak restaurants in Asheville, so enjoy one of those. We surmised the Asheville location of that Ruth's Chris steakhouse, doesn't count on repeat business because must all business comes from tourist.

My husband and I enjoyed every moment at this location. Normally we visit the Greensboro location but not any more. We loved the decor and warm atmosphere. The food was amazing but the service was best in class for sure. Our server was Tony and he made the experience so pleasurable. He is very good and an asset to the restaurant.

It was the best meal we have had in Asheville! Start to finish- everything was perfection. Steve, Kyle and Lance made sure our experience was 5-stars. We will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting from out-of-town!
