Ruth's Chris Steak House - Arlington Ratings and Reviews
This fell short as far as a Ruth Chris and I am a frequent Ruth Chris customer. Sad because it was a special occasion and it was a bust. I have averaged one visit a month to Ruth Chris over the past year. Steak was not cooked to request and sides were just room temperature. Very disappointed! Sincerely, Colonel Tony Atlas
Great food & outstanding service. We had the Porterhouse for Two and it was one of the best steak we have ever had. Our waiter, Christian, provided us top-notch service and even took a picture for us. Overall, the meal was fantastic and we had a wonderful time; couldn't have been any better.
I was surprised by the apparel that many folks were wearing. A number of folks had t-shirts and shorts on. Something I did not expect from a restaurant like this. The service was moderate at best and the steaks didn't sizzle when it can to the table. Sad! It is one of the impactful memories I have of Ruth's Chris other restaurants and boasted about to my quests. While the view of the airport and DC was nice the overall atmosphere was equal to a Fridays restaurant. I will not be going back.
Enforce a reasonable dress code and screen out those who do not have the money/credit to pay the bill, won't tip the waiters, or are without manners to be in this caliber of a restaurant. I am tired of sweats, underwear showing, shoes on chairs, and incredible messes left under tables. Please get back to fundamentals of a high quality, impeccable service restaurant worthy of Ruth, its founder. I am seeing some improvement since last year. I encourage the general manager to find ways to reward its best customers for their loyalty--both through simple acknowledgement and recognition and in the general manager honoring their presence with a warm greeting and minor "reward" feature of some kind for our next visit. Make the visit a more personal and memorable experience.
I order a filet. It was bad! Full of nerves and the meat was like rubber. Besides, the filet is brought to he table on a small dish full of oil or molten butter (could not discern it). Very disappointed. Informed the waiter about it, and he asked me what he could do about it - if I knew it I would not have complained; instead, I would have told him what to do about it! This was the second time I went to this expensive place and got disappointed with the steak. I won't go there anymore.
Amazing views of Reagan National Airport and all of the monuments. But the service was very slow and we did not receive our side dishes until we were almost done with our mains, despite repeated requests. The food is good but overpriced compared to other similar restaurants.
One of the things my wife and I really like about this particular Ruth's Chris is that it overlooks Reagan National Airport. The cocktails are always excellently made and the service is impeccable. The food may be a bit pricey but it is always well prepared and tastes wonderful.
I enjoyed my previous visit much more. Had a little table hiccup upon arriving and got the "we don't guarantee" from the manager. We were under an air conditioning vent and nearly froze so really couldn't enjoy our meal. We ordered a seafood tower and was not provided anything to clean our hands from handling the seafood before our entre arrived. I guess my expectations were too high. I had previously had a nice experience.
Great view from window tables, and always have had great food here, but got a poor steak this time - it was gnarly and undercooked. Their response was to give one free dessert - so $50 for a bad steak and a $10 dessert for free. Very disappointed. Morton's has gone downhill and now looks like Ruth's Chris may be too..........
I dined here for a Pre-Father's Day and my father had an exceptionally pleasant experience on Saturday.
Teddy was our host for the evening and was phenomenal! I actually had him as a host before and his personality really makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. The food was outstanding as usual and everything comes out hot and flavorful. Lastly, the scenery is a plus. Overlooking the national airport and the view of the Washington Monument is a sight to behold.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice family or date atmosphere. Two thumbs up for me! I'll be back soon!
We recently celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary and had dinner at the Crystal City VA location. The staff and waiters were very nice and even seated us next to a couple who were celebrating their 50th anniversary. It made for a very nice evening. Thumbs up Ruth Chris.
First time at this location, the staff is wonderful especially thank you to Mr.Teddy he was a joy to have as our waiter. Very professional and a excellent conversationess, thank you all for a wonderful dinner. Mr. Teddy thank you for your 50year Ruth Chris pin my Father wears it everyday 😀 God Bless you all
Ever celebrated Wednesday. Hit RC's for the 2 nd day in a row. The 2nd visit was a charm. Great happy hr with the wife & daughter. The happy hr is a feat value. I always add on a really nice bottle of Cabernet to compliment the food. Food was excellent. Our server Joni was great. The manager Joseph made sure things went smoothly.
Thanks for a great night.
