Took my husband for Father's Day and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We usually go to Tysons but saw this option on Open Table app and decided being on the 11th floor would be cool. Turns out, it is beautiful over looking the Potomac and the plans landing (quietly) at Reagan airport. Service was excellent and surprisingly kid friendly. They gave us the option to include valet on our ticket. The Ruth Chris chain has always remained consistent but I'd rather experience it again in Crystal City!

We had a great meal and the service was amazing. Milton took great care of us. Would recommend the restaurant for a special occasion. There is also a nice bar and great views.

As a frequent diner at this establishment for years, I am continued to be amazed by the quality of steaks, cocktails, wine and side dishes. But most importantly, the service is always impeccable. This time, we had Nathan. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly like many others I have the privilege of meeting over the years.

We came on a Friday evening and the service was exemplary. Our servers were friendly and attentive. They ensured that our glasses remained full and that we were happy. The food was amazing as usual. We ordered the porterhouse for two and it was absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts are mouth-watering good as was the macaroni and cheese. I am always satisfied with Ruth's Chris, but the service and food at this location was thee BEST! Also get a window seat if you want to see the great view of the Potomac and the planes landing at the airport. Great Experience!

I arrived at 10:35pm for a 10:30pm reservation I booked through open table. On arrival the doors were locked. I called the number to the restaurant and was told the kitchen was closed and they could not serve my wife & I. No one came to the door to speak to us with a explanation as to whya 10:30pm reservation was able to be booked if this location could not accommodate us.

We drove all the way to this specific location because of the great scenic view of the city. This was the worse experience I have ever had at any Ruth Chris restaurant location in the US, and my wife and I have patronized many locations over the years.

We ended up going to Del Frisco's Double Eagle restaurant in downtown DC where we enjoyed a great dinner, and accomodating service. This is really unacceptable service and making us really second guessing to ever patronize the Ruth Chris brand in the future.

Husband graduates from culinary school! He saw and felt many mistakes by the Waite staff, reaching over customers as well as getting a few orders wrong because of order taking. Not knowing who was hosting the gathering... or who to give the bill to, as well as a very long wait for dessert, causing extra limo charge by being 10 minute late getting back home.

We ate dinner at Ruth Chris to celebrate a special occasion. Three of the four of us had not been here before. We were seated at a perfect table in the corner with windows on two sides from which we could watch the National Airport and Potomac, as well as see all the weather action as a severe thunderstorm with rain and lightening rolled through. The server -- Teddy -- was superb and described the dining options perfectly, including where the King Salmon was from (Australia). We had the table the entire evening and three of us took advantage of their four course special meals (appetizer, main course, side dish, and dessert) -- one featured swordfish and the other two featured steaks. The fourth person had the King Salmon. Every meal was perfectly prepared and the sides were very large and made to share (charred cauliflower and mashed potatoes with bacon and seasonings were the two we chose). The wine list was excellent and very comprehensive -- and was ordered both by type of wine and country of wine. We chose a very reasonably priced wine from South Africa that we were familiar with.
The server was attentive -- but not overly -- and was always available to answer our many questions. Truly a wonderful evening and location!

We always have a great time at the Crystal City roof-top restaurant. We always try to have one of the three waiters [Brian, Rashad or Aziz] - they all are fantastic! It feels like home with them.

My guest fully enjoyed the meal however for me it was not pleasurable. I sent my steak back there times by the time I finally received I was totally over it and just boxed it to go. I have not reheated the steak as of yet. Not sure if I will be back but my guest fully enjoyed the meal. The service was AMAZING!!

We had a really great experience this last time. Porterhouse, potatoes au gratin, stuffed mushrooms, salads and cheesecake were all delicious. Aziz and his team all helped us and did an awesome job. Best view I have had in a restaurant and the experience is hard to beat when food and service are firing on all cylinders. Taking a friend the night after it was so good.

Absolutely the worst Ruth's Chris we have ever eaten in. Love the Ruth's at Mizner in Boca Raton, but this one in Crystal City was dreadful. A forgettable Mother's day meal.

I’ve been to the Arlington location many times. Me my mom and daughter had a dinner reservation yesterday for Mother’s Day. Our waiter didn’t give either of us the coupon or a rose. We received when we dined there last year. Was a little disappointed that we weren’t even wished a Happy Mother’s Day, I kind of expected more from such a fine dining experience. On the other hand the food was impeccable as always. One other thing I’ve noticed is that it seemed as if the “dress code” was being overlooked. I saw many people with jeans (ripped up, with patches etc), as well as others with athletic wear on and nobody on the staff seemed to noticed, yet I came in September of last year with my daughter and was told that she was wearing athletic wear my child is 8, and was dressed a lot better than some of the adults I saw in the restaurant yesterday.

first the awesome part of this place. THE VIEW!!!!
Love the view from the bar and even though my table view was of DCA (Regan Airport) it was nice.
Second the way Robert (my server) review we’d my special dietary notes for my son and acknowledged them as soon as we sat down as well as waited on him (he’s 5) like he was an adult guest.
Now for the food, good job Robert for telling me without being prompted the bread was dairy free (son had a liver transplant at 2 months old because of a dairy allergy) could use some improvement on replenishing the bread given 3 of us eat all the bread and my son, wife, and I wanted more to nibble on while we waited for our food.
Robert did a good job of making sure our cokes were filled minus the last time as we were headed into the desert round he didn’t replace or offer to refill my almost empty glass.
Now the food.
My son had shrimp (grilled) and fries. The fries were delicious fresh cut and perfectly crisp in the outside and soft inside. The shrimp were just ok. They were seasoned primarily on one side which kinda made me feel cheated and the tails had the shells in them still. I think the shrimp were probably frozen or the ones used in a cocktail shrimp Because they looked a little flat and not as plump as shrimp I’ve had at another fine dining restaurant (Ocean Prime—incidentally Ocean Prime has been the only place that actually took the shells off the shrimp including the top of the tail—so now I check to see if every restaurant does that.
I ordered a crab cake appetizer and lobster bisque to split. The crab cake was good the bottom on the million degree plate was good and crispy the top lightly broiled and not much filler. The bisque (absolutely not my favorite for taste and presentation).
Robert mentioned the split in his call back of our order. When the soup can it was in one bowl and two spoons. The taste was horrible, since I’m running out of space I’ll say the tomahawk was good and desert needed help

This location is always a great choice for the view and the food is fantastic. We sat at a table in the bar area which is much more energetic than the main dining room where we sat last time. Steak sizzled, portion sizes were small enough for me but big enough for my husband. They have three private rooms near the entrance that are a good size for business dinners or celebrations.

I have always had great steaks at Ruth's Chris, but this one was truly lousy. Lots of gristle. The steak itself looked really dry when it came out, like it was sitting under a heat lamp or in the open to long. Waiter took $25 off bill. Asparagus was over cooked/salty. Baked potato was super dry and tough. Services was decent.

On a related note, the restaurant itself was kind of drab and needs a major facelift.

Definitely disappointed. This was my first visit to this particular location.

Met our Daughter from FL to celebrate her finals. Couldn’t hear across the table due to bar noise. Nice view and good food but too noisy to enjoy. Even the waiter had trouble hearing our order. He said That’s Friday.

I've been eating at this Ruth's since it opened what might be 25 years ago and never been disappointed. And most times I visit I am fortunate to have Aziz wait on my table and this time was even more exceptional. We were celebrating the birthday of a 15 year old and everything was perfect. Table decorated, a card waiting for him and a special dessert all because I mentioned the event when I made the reservation. The entire team made sure to wish him Happy Birthday at every opportunity and the young man couldn't have been more thrilled. This Ruth's will always be my favorite special occasion restaurant. And when time is an issue or its just been too long, I go for the Happy Hour appetizer specials which are fantastic. Keep it up you guys!
