Great experience as always! Highly recommend for any special occasion.
We always have a good time at Ruth's Chris and our server, Milton, was great!
I truly enjoyed all the staff. Food was cooked to perfection and prices were as expected. I will definitely be back! I love that it was not overly crowded for a weekend and parking was conveniently located in the garage of the building.
I brought my boyfriend here for a surprise birthday dinner. Although I have dined here a few times, he had never been. The service was beyond anything else, along with the details. They knew us by name when we walked in, had the table decorated, paid attention to our conversation enough to know what we would like best. Upon leaving my boyfriend said that this was the best dinning experience he’s ever had, and he eats out like this pretty often. We were beyond very pleased and cannot wait to go back.
Teddy provided great service!
View is excellent of the city
The bar area is inviting, with a great view. Dining area was cold the evening we were there.
What an enjoyable evening!! Our granddaughter (7 yrs old) raved about the Kid's Cut Filet with fries. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and the scallop special with jambalaya risotto was succulent. Robert and Azziz made the evening for our granddaughter, treating her like a little princess. They both did a wonderful job for us!!!
Excellent location and the view is wonderful! We ran out of drinks a couple of times. So the service was not excellent. All the servers were very nice, but the empty drinks disappointing. Steak was excellent!
The service was wonderful. We were there to celebrate a special occasion and asked for and were seated at a lovely table with a view. Everyone from host, servers, and chef was truly spectacular and personable and attentive. The steaks were disappointing. They lacked sufficient flavor for the price. The Brussels sprouts were drenched in bacon grease and the molten lava cake lacked lava. The cocktails however were terrific.
The view of the city and Reagan National is fabulous and our waiter Teddy and staff was outstanding made everyone of us feel right at home.
The service was outstanding. The food tastes excellent. I would highly recommend this to my family and friends.
We asked for a table close the window so could see the airport. On a busy Saturday night tables with a good view of planes departing/landing are difficult to come by (or so we were told). I had even spoke with Sasha (very pleasant hostess) earlier in the day to let her know this was a first time dining experience for my wife, at this Ruth's Chris location. Nonetheless, the food (steak, shrimp, salad, crème brûlée) was good and that can not be disputed.
As always a wonderful experience with great food, & service. Brain our waiter is outstanding as is Teddy.
Being a vegetarian, I did not want to like Ruth Chris Steak House. Was invited and went there with a pessimistic attitude - and I was so wrong! They were very accommodating and since everything is made fresh, they created an amazing meal for me. Awesome! Well done! Everything was spot on!
I didn’t like that we were able to make a reservation for nine o’clock pm but was rushed once we sat down that the kitchen is about to close. Then my steak ended up being rushed and not cooked well enough.
This review is for the Arlington, VA location. Slow service & the dress code was only minimally adhered to...On a more positive note- the steak was delicious!
the table was decorated with little happy birthday decals
We went out for my friend's 40th birthday. She was from out of town. We luckily got a corner table overlooking the airport and river. The service was excellent, the food was exceptional, and the view was outstanding. We had a wonderful experience. It is pricey.
My boyfriend and I was visiting for the Japanese cherry blossom festival. We sat down for about five minutes and someone then came to greet us. We ordered drink and my boyfriend wanted to switch his drinks and couldn’t because no one came back to our table.
When our server Christian finally came and took our order it was about 10 mins. The entire night they kept dropping trays and tray tables. They even spilled someone dessert.
There were screaming kids. Overall just terrible service. The food was ok, not as good as other Ruth’s Chris that I’ve been to.
Definitely not going back to this location.
Service was extremely slow. Server did not apologize for their lack of service
Everything was great but one of the waiters were extremely loud when waiting on other tables.
Million dollar view, partnered along side the fantastic food and service! We celebrated MSU’s Sweet 16 victory over LSU and were not disappointed! Thank you for completing our amazing evening Ruth’s Chris Arlington.
Great experience. Great food. Service is always amazing.
It is a good spot for a birthday celebration. All the food was excellent and the view is great. The service was attentive without being intrusive. It made for a most pleasant evening for our group of four.
Seating, with reservation, was very fast but service was uncharacteristically slow. The salmon was mediocre and the broccoli (turning yellow around the edges) was not fresh. The wine was great and as usual the sweet potato casserole was out of this world.
Ruth’s Chris just isn’t the same anymore. Terrible service. Slow, limited wait staff. Average food.
Always wonderful and tasty steaks. We really enjoy this particular Ruth Chris. Great food, wonderful staff. The seafood tower is the best. Great place for business dinners.
Every time I dine at Ruth's my family and friends have an amazing dining experience! It is one of the best restaurants for upscale dining. The service is impeccable, ambiance is super and the food is top-notched!
I’ve eaten at other Ruth’s Chris, and have always had similar experiences. My wife had been wanting to eat at this location based on a friends recommendation that the view was amazing. When we arrived, the signage on the 11th floor was absent so we had to follow the noise. The entry way to the host stand is long, and was packed full of people. Once we navigated our way to the stand, we were promptly seated.
The view is great. However, that is where great ended. We ordered calamari to start, which was as good as you would find at any chain. I ordered the NOLA Mule, which was on par with what you would find in a neighborhood dive bar. The drink was weak and watered down.
For dinner, I ordered the wedge salad followed by the Ribeye. The salad was ok. The lettuce wasn’t very crisp, but nothing to complain about. The ribeye arrives, and was slightly over cooked from my ordered medium rare. My wife ordered the filet, which came out undercooked, and more on the medium rare side. Additionally we split the Brussels Sprouts, which were just not worth the price.
All in all, the meal was largely unforgettable- except for the $200 price tag. I would much rather have spent the money on quality ingredients, and cooked the meal myself.
it was fantastic, they did an amazing job. They gave us a card and decorated desert perfectly. Amazing service and food.
Excellent fantastic meal. Each bite was delectable. The steak was so tender it could be cut with a butter knife. The service was exceptional. WHAT A EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE!
Unfortunately, I won’t return. It used to be such a nice place but this experience was different. The service was slow and less attentive. We sat for over 20 minutes before even being asked for drinks. Also, they have a dress code and do not enforce it. People had on tank tops, sneakers, saggy clothes and the girl next to me had her entire nipple out. It was a mediocre experience and not worth what we paid for it. I’ve been to private events there and it was good but this was unacceptable.
Great place for a nice dinner with the loves ones. Food is excellent
Went with a friend for a dinner date. We had a fantastic view, excellent waitstaff, and food cooked to perfection. Wine list was impressive as was the dessert. We both came away impressed.
Paid our annual birthday visit. Food, service and 11th floor view of DC & Potomac all excellent.
My wife and I had a great experience. We would recommend this place to our friends and family.
One of the best steakhouses in Washington DC. Unparalleled views of the airport and DC--Fabulous!
The evening was delightful! The servers we had were first class and the meal was out of this world; truly delicious. The ONLY issue we had which is not a reflection on Ruth Chris was there was a couple with 2 very young children and the constant loud yelling while the selfish clueless parents did nothing distracted from the adult Saturday evening special occasion event. We moved away from them but still heard the loud misbehaving children who I do not fault; the parents I do. We will come back again and hopefully not with children in the room.
