Great services and food. Nice atmosphere. Will be back.
We had a womderful dinner with another couple. Service was impeccable and we didn't feel rushed.
Amazing Evening! Service was great. We were celebrating a birthday and it was wonderful to be greeted with a "happy birthday" for our party. Our server went above and beyond the entire time. We have had this birthday dinner at this location for the past 4 years and it has always been great but it this was the most amazing experience we have ever had from the valet drop off to getting the car back. Highly recommended.
We have been coming to this Ruth Chris for several years. This was our first bad experience. We were put in a large dining room with several large parties and lots of children running around for a 7:30 PM reservation. The lights were bright, the room was noisy, it felt like you were sitting in a cafeteria instead of Ruth Chris. We asked our server if we could possibly be reseated at a quieter table. She stated nothing else was available. We asked to speak with the manager but were told he or she was busy and not available.
One of our appetizers was not what we ordered. Our server quickly took the wrong appetizer away but there was a long delay in getting the correct appetizer. We had both ordered soup and the second soup did not arrive until long after the first soup was served.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
This was the worst experience we have had at this location in 7 years. Our waitress was much more concerned with a four top with customers she obviously knew. We had to send our steaks back twice to get them right. I expect it done right the first time and if not then definitely the second - not well done the first time and raw the second, finally on the third try we got our medium. I also expect in this case that a manager apologize and at least offer to comp one of the several sides we got and then ate cold finally with the steak - but nothing. And when I pointed it out to the waitress she did nothing. Seriously???!!!
The Annapolis location is not on par with other Ruth Chris location. Have been disappointed in this location before for special date night. Had a friend in town thought I'd give it another chance. Should have just gone to Baltimore. We're non drinkers and I get the feeling were judged by that as being ' cheap ' . General attitude of the staff at this location is not appreciated, I'll make the drive to the city or choose some other Annapolis restaurant.
The filet was very tasty and cooked properly, but the appetizers and sides were unimpressive. It was on the noisy side and the service, although prompt, lacked the kind of warmth I was hoping for in this kind of restaurant.
The best part of the night was the valet attendants, they were extremely nice and personable. Throughout the night, every person we interacted with was not personable or polite in anyway.
We went for restaurant week, my husband always talked about Ruth’s Chris like it walked on water; my experience was the complete opposite. Food was awful, appetizers were under cooked, steaks were over cooked, sides were just awful. I really did expect more from such a high class dining restaurant.
The atmosphere was awkward to be in. I have never been to Annapolis before, so this was all new and exciting to me and this restaurant absolutely lowered my expectations for the city.
The best food we had that night was my daughters chicken strips.
Service was extremely slow. Had to go to bar to get a glass of wine. Bread didn’t arrive until after salads were serverd.
Server was very nice however service overall was slow. It didn’t seem there were enough servers on hand for the number of patrons. The steak was good however not quit sizzling when arrived so it may have not been served immediately.
EThe steak melts in your mouth - although pricey, it is worth it.
Sat by the bathrooms upstairs and it was so busy and chaotic that it took away from our experience. Food was great as usual but the ambiance was awful.
Staff very accommodating & professional. Service was excellent. However, the food was sub-par for the price. The lobster bisque had a strange taste. The lobster tail was not fully cooked. It had a sponges, raw texture. I sent it back. Not much difference. The filet was good but not quite the experience I have had at other Ruth’s Chris restaurants and other fine steakhouses. I never use steak sauces but found myself considering asking for some. Finally, the shoestring fries were served in some kind of cone shaped container. It was about a foot tall. I had to reach up to get fries. When you pulled some out, others fell all over the counter. Please, just put them on a plate so I can get to them and eat them while they’re hot.
Good restaurant. Wasn't the best service with the waiter though. I think it was person specific because every other time it was great.
Server was nice but let our food sit for a while before bring it to our table. Sides not served with the rest of the meal. Long time between checking on us.
Crab cake too spicy. Sw
Quash bisque tasted like it had a dash of cayenne pepper which I could’ve done without as I tried to order the least spicy food on the menu. Steak and lobster good as usual.
Impeccable service with the presentation of delicious appetizers, perfectly prepared and flavoured entrees and sides. Wine and after dinner drinks and desserts were outstanding!
I believed the service was great . Until it was close to closing and the waitress seem like she was more focus on finishing her shift then taking care of her customer.
Other than spilling 1/2 a beer and a complete shaker of Manhattan on one of my guests, the meal was peaceful. Price paid is not congruent with value in this particular dining instance.
Although, the steaks appeared to be Prime — one of the filets was an end cut that should have never been served to a paying guest. Just not very good judgement in the kitchen or with the wait staff in my estimation.
nice place a little disappointed that they sat us in the bar area close to front door
Lower level smelled like sewer gas. Maitre de was unaware of this until we said something. Food (steak) was below average. When paying $90 per person, the experience should be good & not be what we encountered.
Calamari was excellent, my petite filet was excellent, my sons steak came out cooked incorrectly, which, at the prices they're asking ,in my mind is unacceptable and no compensation was offered. Sides were very average; garlic mashed potatoes a little gummy & brussel sprouts overcooked. Compared to other finer steak houses I've experienced this one is hard to justify the cost based on this evenings experience.
My husband and I had a gift certificate and to Ruth's Chris and we really enjoyed the dinner. His steak was perfectly cooked. I had the Seabass which was amazing and cooked perfectly. We had scallops for an appetizer and split a salad that they split and presentation was great. If you like steak, while Ruth's Chris has never been my favorite steakhouse, we were impressed with the steak this time around. The service and ambiance were great. Great wine list.
Nice romantic evening out with the wife. It was quiet and could hear each other talk. Food was great & ended with bananas foster that was perfect. Was a little pricey. Service was spot on.
Our waiter Victor was amazing by far the best dining experience I've ever had!!! The food was as great as expected and hot the entire evening!
First rate experience. Highly recommended. Everyone there was exceptionally polite and service oriented.
The food and service was its usual fine quality, but there is nothing exciting about this restaurant. The steak is excellent and that’s what it is, an excellent steakhouse, nothing more.
Jess was our server and she did a great job making us feel welcome!! We were celebrating our sons birthday and they made it very special. The food is always great. The restaurant is so warm and cozy and is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. What a great presentation for a birthday!!!
It was great as usual. An always for a special occasion
Paul was our server and did a fantastic job. The cowboy ribeye was delicious! Awesome night
Service was outstanding. Lesley was our server! A+
Outstanding dinner with the BEST server, Frank, who took fantastic care of us! Awesome evening! Highly recommended!
We were not seated until 10:00 for a 9:15 reservation
food was excellent. Server was not exactly what we would expect at a restaurant like RC. Jumped between tables midway through taking our order, took a long time to bring small items and drinks. He was nice enough, but not the formal dining waiter we expected.
We have been to several other Ruth's Chris locations in Maryland and this was one of the nicest. The service and food were excellent. This location had a very comfortable feel about it, made more so by the staff. Kurstin, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely revisit this location the next time. Oh and the manager was walking around to various tables and giving Ruth's Chris oven mitts with giftcards inside! Definitely a nice New Year Eve's bonus!
My husband and I wanted to go somewhere for a great meal on New Year’s Eve and I decided on Ruth’s Chris because we celebrated our anniversary there last summer. Incredible service and outstanding food. Jess was our server and, she was very nice and provided us with us with phenomenal service!! We will dine there again, soon!!
Service was poor food was average not a good value for the price. We were seated in a small room felt like we were eating in a closet. Barbecue shrimp were not Barbecue shrimp. They were shrimp covered in soup bisque. Steak plate was tiny. Au gratin potato’s we’re covered in cheese with milk on the bottom. We won’t be going back
The steak was fantastic and the sides (Cream Spinach & potatoes augratin) spectacular
In general the quality of the steaks have been declining in our recent visits. We choose to try Ruth's Christ again, on a very cold night, since they have valet parking. My steak was tough and grisly, with limited flavor. Only ate about half and left the rest. A manager stopped by or table, inquiring how we liked our meal. After a brief description, as to the quality of the steak, the manager said "I am sorry" while walking away. Never saw her again.
When spending $15.50 for a vodka followed by a tough steak, a better steak and value can be found at Lewnes Steak House, Ruth's Chris neighbor.
We ate here for Christmas Eve- and were seated next to the bar. Unfortunately a large party was hovering over our table while waiting to be seated. Very uncomfortable.
I wish that I could be writing a better review for the price we paid, but the evening was only so-so. Ambiance marred by being seated next to door to bar area (noisy when door opened and moderate amount of server traffic in and out; next time would ask to be seated away from bar). The 6 ounce filet was medium and somewhat dry rather than medium rare, probably due to being too thin to properly cook perfectly, and probably should have ordered a thicker cut with the 8 ounce size. The rib eye was perfectly done, quite juicy and flavorful. Brussel sprouts and shoestring fries were both quite good and plenty to share for both of us. Although the bread pudding and cheesecake desserts were fine, they were not "memorable".
