Food and service was excellent!
We went to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The hostess started us off with a warm welcome and a table with happy anniversary confetti on it. Our waiter Ryan was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure our night was special. The food was perfectly cooked and the drinks were perfectly made. Definitely will be going again.
Excellent customer service and great happy hour deals!
Food is always consistent, service was exceptional.
The majority of our time at Ruth’s Chris was fabulous: the food, the service and even a check in by the manager. The only off-putting event was the less than welcoming manner and flat affect of the hostess.
Great server, great food! We will be back.
Wonderful food and service! Jessica was great. Highly recommend.
What we expected: a bit over the top for everyday dining, but a really great steak, sides and service.
The only credible individual that interacted with us was our server, Nick Boyd, he was pleasant, personable and capable. Others....not so much.
Nothing to bring us back!!
Great! Anniversary dinner with Family. Superior food great service.
As always the food was great and the service was impeccable
The waiter mis-placed our starters and desserts among our group guests.
We went during Ann Arbor’s Restaurant Week so the prices were cheaper but the food was still outstanding. The filet’s were cooked to perfection, the waitstaff was well trained and attentive. Fabulous meal. Would definitely return.
Great value for delicious food for Restaurant Week!
Not the best in the world, or even Ann Arbor. But Ruth's Chris excels in every category.
The service was impeccable. The food was excellent. Cooked to perfection. The ambiance was what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. You can tell its a well run restaurant
The restaurant was a little dead for a Friday night. Maybe it’s because we didn’t arrive until 8:30pm. The food was good as it always is. I’m just not sure it’s $150 good. We went because I had some gift cards.
Our experience was about we expect from Ruth's Chris and the price point - the food in particular was excellent, the staff courteous, no wait to be seated, professional valet. The only tarnish on the experience were minor disappointments with service - bread was not brought and we had to ask for it. Finished dishes lingered a little too long in front of us before they were taken. A request to hold wine until the meal was served was missed and had to be repeated. We will go back for the food, and call the service quite good but uneven for the price point.
Best steaks. Best service. Love coming here for celebrations.
It was our 34th wedding anniversary. The service and the food was awesome!!!
The food was excellent as always and our waiter was exceptionally attentive and provided excellent service!
Food and service was excellent! However, they should introduce a dress code. Hoodies, sweatpants, and baseball caps don’t belong at a high-end steakhouse like RC..... seems to be common place at this RC location...
The steak was made just right (medium rare) and served hot. The shrimp & broccoli were just the way I like them. I do honestly believe the prices are high for the quality of food but tried it due to the ads I had heard on Rush Limbaugh. The dining room was quite but it was relatively empty at 6:00pm.
Great night out! Amazing dinner. The filet was fantastic and the sweet potatoes were the best. Walter was our server and he was wonderful. Extensive wine list and can't wait to come back.
Service continues to struggle in this college town environment! Very weak for a high end restaurant! Several visits same result!
We all know that the purpose of Ruth Chris is for salesmen with large expense account to try to impress their clients. We were given a gift card, which cannot be used for anything but full à la carte meals. It was an anniversary and we need to use the card so we went. The ambiance is OK. Service is good but not "serve from the left clear from the right" grade. I had the crab cakes and and my wife had the scallops. After 8 years in Baltimore, I have a pretty good idea of what a good crab cake is. Most Baltimore market stands make better crab cakes. The RC version is not lump back fin but a lower grade of crab meat and really could use some seasoning. They also managed to produce a crab cake with no browning. Dr. Maillard would not be proud. My wife's scallops were browned but, having grown up on the coast, we understand the difference between true scallops and large round pieces of skate. I did make the questionable choice of ordering their sweet potato with pecan crust as a side for crab cakes. After breaking through the brown sugar crust I realized the mistake and negotiated with my wife to share her roasted vegetables and use the sweet potatoes as a shared dessert. The waiter observed our decision and very generously provided a scoop of vanilla ice cream. He conceded that many people find the sweet potatoes a better dessert than accompaniment to dinner. Overall, the food is OK but needlessly expensive. If you want to spend money for the sake of spending money then RC is the place to go.
Great Experience for mine and my Mother in Law’s birthday. Your age as a percentage off the birthday person’s meal was a nice surprise. Food was perfectly cooked and delivered to the table still sizzling!
Celebrated my birthday and our wedding anniversary on Sunday with excellent steaks - the best!
The table was festively decorated, the service attentive, and the sides and desserts delicious!
My husband and I celebrated our 15th Anniversary. The food and service were great. For most of our meal the noise level was a little higher as there were more people there and a crying toddler. But it wasn’t too bad.
One of the best meals in a long time. Easily the best steakhouses I've been to. Walter is a terrific waiter, the best!
Absolutely stellar! Best seat (booth) in the house. Had the table decorated for our anniversary. The waiter recommended a perfect bottle of wine. Steaks were perfectly cooked and even the manager stopped by for a great and personable chat. Complimentary dessert... we will definitely be back!
Went to Ruth Chris to celebrate daughter’s birthday. The service and the food was excellent. The staff took care of every detail and made our evening memorable. Highly recommend the location in Ann Arbor.
The best steak I have ever tasted. All the sides were amazing as well. Service was fantastic.
Amazing as always! They even set up the table for our anniversary.
Had a great time and wonderful service, recommend to anyone looking for a great out to eat dinner
Mothers Day with the family.
It was a wonderful night for us at Ruth Chris.
I will come back soon again.
Thank you for the birthday cake !!
The best! Can’t go wrong with the cowboy rib-eye and lobster tail!
Let me start with, we love Ruth’s Chris! We visit the Troy location once every couple months. Ann Arbor is closer to us so we’d thought we’d check it out. Had to pay for valet, never do in Troy. Waited 20 minutes for our car. We always go on a weekend and in Troy, you can get the combination meals for a certain price. Not in Ann Arbor. No specials. Restaurant in Troy is quiet, reserved and very attentive. Ann Arbor was loud, no ambience at all and i found myself trying to hear ppl at our own table. Same food, same drinks, costs me usually 250-300 with a generous tip. My bill was 460.00, and 20 for valet. The money doesn’t mean as much, but I’ll be going back to Troy.
