The steak is top notch and service and decor was superb
It’s was a celebration for a graduation and they did an amazing job
Our party of 5 adults were seated on time for our reservation. We were celebrating a birthday and found a card and colorful confetti decorating the table. This was a nicely added touch from our table server Lindsay. All of our entrees and side dishes arrived at the same time piping hot. The meal and table service was absolutely superb. You will not go wrong making reservations for dinner at this restaurant.
I enjoyed our dinner. Just surprised the sides were a la carte! And it was noisy. Overall, the food was delicious!
We really had an enjoyable experience here at Ruth Chris Anaheim!!!
Belated Mother’s day dinner
In spite of the busyness of Mother's Day, agreeably the worst day of the year to eat out, our server was amazing! Thank you, Teri, for your personalized service! We were celebrating an anniversary on holiday and you made it feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The Caesar salad was the best I've ever eaten, as was the ribeye steak, swimming in butter whilst still sizzling! The creamed spinach was over-the-top divine! Just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite, our choice of desserts was comped. The personalized message on the plate with a lit candle on our cheesecake what are evening to close and with no rush to leave. I must say it exceeded our expectations! We shall return!
I was truly disappointed with tonight’s dinner. We normally do not go out for dinner for this exact reason on Mother’s Day. Way over booked and a not so great meal. Should have stuck to a bbq at home like always. With a 515 reservation we arrived way early only to see a overcrowded dinning room. Went to bar for a drink and waited so long I had 3. At 545 finally got seated waitress even made a comment on how crazy it was. Not good. After a hour and half food finally arrives only to have a lackluster meal baked potato cold filet not cooked to order. Oh well I won’t give up cuz I love Ruth Chris just will never come back on Mother’s Day or any holiday for that matter. Also lived watching everyone around complain.
They over booked on Mother’s Day. Why call me 2 days to confirm my appointment. We had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table at the bar. Never again to this Anaheim location. The largest ribeye order on the menu was nasty and tuff.
Slightly slow because it was Mother’s Day, but overall a great meal.
Our appetizers were absolutely delicious -- so good that we will double the order the next time we visit.
Our steaks were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We each had different sides, and each one was as tasty as the next. Staff was attentive, friendly, and very professional. I couldn't ask for a better Mother's Day meal. Truly a delightful experience. We will definitely do it again next year!
Great service and fantastic food. Nicely done for Mother’s Day.
Mother’s Day was a nightmare. Service was slow, table remained cluttered with trash from wrappers and appetizer utensils. Drinks never refilled. Side dishes and steaks came out cold, so the server didn’t check the temp. Sent back to kitchen only to have them return the same steaks to the table which were suppose to be medium rare and they just tossed in warmer and made the steaks medium with outer parts tough. Worst dining experience ever!
We went for Mother's Day and the three of us ordered the 11 oz. filet mignon with 2 cold water lobsters. We also ordered a baked potato, au gratin broccoli and au gratin potatoes. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The flavors are superb. Our server Brian is always great. He is funny and professional. I highly recommend the Anaheim location.
Everything is good, except the table cloth and napkin smell a bit oily. Especially my wife’s napkin. We would like to see if this issue could be improve upon.
Very expensive for what you get. Steak was good but Medium Rare quickly turned to almost rare as you got further into the steak.
I expect perfection based on the process you pay.
Everything else was great and no complaints. Would order Medium next time even though that is usually a no no when it comes to preparing steak.
Table has dirty when we sat down, cutlery was very water stained and dirty looking. Service was spotty, server didn't know the menu, steak came out swimming in butter, instead of just sizzling. Very noisy, no seperation between the waiting area and the dining room.
Poor service. After appetizers our waiter did not come back for another round of cocktails. Didn’t see our waiter for 20 minutes. Waited over an hour between appetizers and main course. My steak, which I requested medium was well done. Just an all around horrible experience from a usually great establishment. Very disappointing!!
Everyting was great other than being surprised that the hostess did not carry our drinks from the bar where we waited for our reservation time to the table when she seated us. Not what I would expect from this scale of a restaurant. Other that that the evening was excellent.
Our server was almost perfect. She was a 22 year veteran of Ruth’s Chris and I would request her table if I was in town again. Of course the food was fantastic as was our wine. Always one of the best fine dining experiences, and this location did not disappoint.
This was the perfect place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We will definitely be back.
Amazing gin and tonics. We ate crab cakes and filet mignon with sides of brussel sprouts and shoestring fries - everything was delicious
My wife’s lobster was terrible, and they reduced the size of their Martini’s by about 1/2 for the same ridiculous price.
Class, good ambience, attentive crew, food was the right temp and taste as expected in any Ruth’s Chris
Not one of my best visits but still had a great dinner celebrating my birthday.
The broccoli was not cooked the sides were cold and the steak was not sizzling in butter as they are known for I have always had a great experience except that time
My only complaint was that my cowboy ribeye came out rare instead of medium rare. When they brought it back out it was more of a medium well. I was surprised they didn’t get it right the first time.
It’s always a pleasure dining at this particular Ruth’s Chris!
This Ruth’s Chris just seemed so sad and old. It did not feel like you were at a fancy steak house like the Ruth Chris’ in San Diego. The service was super weird at first when the manager sat us in the bar, where we had requested, yet no one came by as no one knew we were there. After 10 minutes I came to grab somebody. After that, the service turned around which was good. The dining room just looked so squished so we opted for the bar. The lobster on the seafood tower was super fishy and smelled slightly. I just think that QC needs to come in and take a peek around.
Dinner with my wife, father-in-law, and step mother-in-law.
DO you LOVE a good Steak? Well This place is it..This is now my 2nd visit and i am more impressed this time. Not only did they put anniversary confetti, with a welcome card, but the service and suggestions was amazing. I cant wait to go back. Every item of food we got was so delicious!
We always like Ruth Chris for the quality of the food. This was to celebrate our anniversary. We noted that it was our anniversary when we booked on Open Table. When we arrived our table was decorated with confetti and we had a card. Throughout the meal the waiter / kitchen added special touches Fantastic meal with outstanding service.
The restaurant itself was outstanding... food, service and decor. The only thing troubling was the clientele. Perhaps because of it's proximity to Disneyland and the convention center, but c'mon people are shorts, t shirts, and flip flops are not appropriate for a nice meal out. And moreover, gentlemen take their hats off when they enter a building. If I was at the beach, I could understand, but at a nice steakhouse you should have a bit more decorum.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, and were pleasantly pleased to find our table decorated with a card and other niceties.
Our visit was to celebrate our daughter's birthday. As we arrived to our table, the table was sprinkled with birthday confetti, a birthday card and the menu's were engraved with my daughter's name and Happy Birthday. All, "Excellent" touches.
We sat on the patio which we had to ourselves and thats a great spot! Our servers were Reuben and Jay (?) (She has a rat terrier) and they made my boyfriends birthday extra special and we will for sure be back!
