Steaks ordered medium well, served cold raw center. Took way too long to get food and service was mediocre.
Great place to get some quality food after a long day at Disneyland!
It is always amazing at Ruth’s Chris. For
My husbands birthday we were met with a special greeting card and personalized menu.
Thank you for serving the tastiest steaks ever!
The staff was wonderful and fulfilled my very special requests. The meal was outstanding! My server was so kind. Couldn’t have been happier!
Cordell was a great waiter. Management staff was slightly rude
Great service, great food cooked perfectly. Highly recommended.
Food was mediocre. Orders were wrong. Steaks cooked wrong. Not a great experience. The food that was correct didn’t taste all that great. Would rather eat at Morton’s.
As always the food was great. Service from the hostess to the waitress was way off. Made the "special night" not wonderful as it should. Probably will go to Morton's next time
We went to Ruth Chris for our anniversary, we had a great time the food was great!! We got there n they attended us rite away.. our waiter Richard was outstanding.. he kept checking on us n was very helpful with the menu.. I will definitely recommend Ruth Chris to our friends..
my only complaint is that our reservation was for 8:00pm and we didn't get seated until 8:20
Everything was great food, service two thumbs up 👍👍
Having been to Ruth’s Chris before, I arrived with high expectations. The night started with a Lagunitas IPA from a bottle (no draft beer at the Anaheim location) for $10. Now I clearly understand the markup for alcohol, but I can buy the whole 6 pack for less than $10. I was OK with paying $140 for a bottle of Twomey Merlot.
I love to have shrimp cocktail with steak, so I ordered one; the shrimp were over cooked and not what I would expect here. The steaks were good, but not what I have experienced from RC in the past, especially since what we ordered was very expensive.
Our waitress was very cold initially, finally getting a bit warm by the end of the meal.
We ate the next evening at Mortons just down the street, and the experience was far superior from every perspective.
Decided to get a drink at the bar before dinner, and ended up staying at the bar. Bartender was an older guy who almost never checked up on us. We heard other bartenders offering bread/butter, we never were. Every course that came we weren’t checked on so it took a while of sitting there staring at our food to get what we needed (ie. black pepper on my salad, some of the “bread service” to eat with my soup). This also included my main course as I sat there for several minutes waiting to let him know both mine and my girlfriends steaks were cooked incorrectly. Since he didn’t feel either of us staring at him nor bothered to just look around, we ended up flagging down another bartender to let her know. She and the manager were nice, who did take care of 2 beers for us. But still, for as many times as I’ve dined at Ruth’s Chris and restaurants like it, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had there. I know it’s the bar top and we don’t mind casual, but we’re paying the same amount we’d pay at a table, so why shouldn’t the service be just as up to par?
For being a fine dining establishment, the service was sub-par. If you are expecting to spend approximately $100 per head, part of the dining experience includes the excellent service you should have. However, that was not the case. Our server, Terry, was not accommodating, short, curt. We were celebrating two birthdays and she did not make us feel special. It's such a shame especially because the steaks are good. But I would not come back.
I went for my husband bday, my reservation was at 6:45pm . We haven't been in a restaurant that took so long for food to get to are table,we wait 1hr 40 min. We eat around 8:40 .
Awesome! Our server was great!
Made reservations for 7:45. Was seated at 8:45. Suzy the waitress was rude and slow. Incorrect Apps arrived at 9:30. Dinner never showed up. Left at 10:15 after manager waived the costs. Very disappointed.
Food was excellent and the service was exceptional! Our server, Jackson, was Great!
Good just slow
One of the best porterhouse for two steaks I have eaten. Amazing service, timely, helping and friendly. Must visit location in Anaheim.
Price was high and foods were ok for the price but no so great. Kids meal was over cooked and just 2 small burgers...
I took long time to serve, and we had to wait long time.
Even it was OC restaurant week, they didn't offer the special menu for this specific location (I assume it is close to Disney Land and they can get enough customers).
To go foods we just put in not so environmental friendly plastic and the food was just smashed upside down. They didn't treat their foods well.
I would not go back to this location as a local customer and I cannot recommend for visitors as well if you are looking for fine dining.
Birthday but we sat kinda close to the front door. I prefer a table closer to the back or in the middle
Great food great service
Ruth's is always great. Never had a bad experience there.
Food was good as always but this dining experience rates 5 stars because of the excellent service.
The service and food at Ruth Chris is always fabulous! We always seem to order too much so have to take leftovers home which we really enjoy the following day!
There are always so many people at Ruth Chris so a reservation is a must even then you still have to wait several minutes to get seated but it is always worth the wait!
We celebrate my husband's birthday there every year as it is his favorite steakhouse and it never disappoints! I highly recommend it! The steaks are large, juicy and delicious; the baked potato is huge with all the trimmings you can ask for and I love the salads. The crab tower is a wonderful appetizer and the drinks aren't bad either! Service providers are very attentive and so was our waiter Brian! Great place to enjoy a delicious meal or celebrate a special occasion!
This was our second time celebrating our wedding anniversary at this Ruth’s Chris location. The difference, our server Eric. Best service I’ve experienced at any restaurant. Personable, prompt and attentive. Made great recommendations on the drink and food menu’s and we went without nothing for the duration of our visit. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you
Always a pleasure to have a office dinner or just dinner with my sister. Food and service is always amazing and above anywhere else!
We celebrated our 47th anniversary. When I say 'we," it has to include the entire staff. All of them were a part of our great time there; from the decorated table and 'Happy Anniversary' card to the desert. The evening was definitely a celebration to remember.
Came here for a birthday - menus were customized for the person we were celebrating. Everything was perfect - food, service. Wouldn’t have changed anything. Relatively affordable in comparison to other steakhouses.
We have been looking forward to our first visit to Ruth’s Chris steakhouse for many months and we’re very disappointed! Our steaks were rare instead of medium as we ordered, my steak knife couldn’t even cut through my steak as it was full of gristle and a long tendon that I couldn’t cut through in the center, our vegetables were under cooked. We left there hungry after spending $150. We get far better steak at the local Cattleman’s back home.
Excellent food and service. Great service and great location.
We took our niece and future nephew in law out to celebrate their engagement and the waitress was very nice and even added a special touch to the table (heart confetti) and dessert (congratulations written in chocolate)! Totally unexpected but very much appreciated! We always recommend this restaurant to all of our friends and family!
Enjoy the food and ambiance.
The food was great But wow was it loud and tables are very close to each other.
We love the food, the sizzling plates, the nice touches they put on for special occasions. This last time was a little disappointing only because the entrees took forever to come out. The wait staff is always amazing though and I tend to fault the kitchen for the long delay between courses. I'd still go back though to celebrate a special occasion.
Experience was expected as always for a Ruth Chris location. Only downfall was that our waiter seemed to be in bad moood, a bit sarcastic and honestly dimmed our dining experience in Anaheim. I will continue to eat at Ruth Chris for consistently of food and dining because it takes more than one person to ruin my day.
Everything was phenomenal
Reservation was at 8:15, the excellent staff got us in at around 7:30, phenomenal service!!
