    We reserved out at least a week or so in advance - made reservation for 6:45 and did not get seated until 8 pm and then we assigned a banquet room upstairs with a room full of dirty tables and dishes everywhere - not the Ruth Chris experience at all - really disappointing

    Worst service we ever had. Took 20 minutes for the waiter to come to our table. He tried twice to get our drinks right and finally the manager had to come over to fix it. The Thanksgiving dinner was mediocre ( and lukewarm )and we left without waiting for dessert or taking our leftovers. This used to be our favorite place for special occasions ( always celebrated our birthdays here) but we won't be back. The busboy was the best .

    The Thanksgiving meal was very good. It was a very busy day for this restaurant. We had reservations but had to wait over 20 minutes to get seated. Others who walked in after us were seated as they arrived. We noticed available tables so it may have been lack of enough help. Overall the experience was very good as was the food.

    We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Ruth Chris. Ritchie was our server and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Our table was decorated with “Happy Anniversary “.     We enjoyed our Sunday Family dinner for three. Ruth's Chris is our son's favorite restaurant. Billy was our server. He is excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. We ordered a variety of appetizers - calamari, crab cake and the ravioli. First time having the ravioli. It was o.k. not what we expected. Billy was so gracious and took the ravioli off our bill since we did not enjoy it. For our entrees my husband and son had the Stuffed Chicken Breast in which they finished every bit of it. I had the Salmon which was impeccably cooked to perfection. I devoured it. We were so stuffed we ordered dessert to go, the Apple Crumb Tart. We heated it up later at home. The tart is SO delicious with vanilla ice cream. We love Ruth's Chris Steak House, so much so I expect us to return for another dinner before the new year arrives.

    Do not rely on the OpenTable app on your mobile device for making your reservation. My wife and I used this app to make reservations several days in advance and when we finally arrived a few minutes early, the hostesses could not find our reservation. We even showed them our reservation on our mobile smartphone. They were confused. Luckily, however, there was a table available. In summary, we suggest you simply call them to make or confirm your reservation instead of only relying on technology.

    We attended the Champagne Dinner last Thursday, 11/16/23, at the Alpharetta, GA location. The GM had called about my crab allergy & left a message. I did call back to confirm it was only a crab allergy. The servers confirmed it again prior to serving but they still messed it up when serving. I was told by the GM on the message that I would get a substitute, like shrimp, or something. After having to explain for the 3rd time about the crab allergy, they sent up a steak topper, heated blue cheese - which I hate - as my sub. Overall - the food was NOT good - only the filet itself was good. Everything else was cold and either over or undercooked. It took about 20 - 25 minutes before we got our 1st tasting of champagne which is crazy. Out of all the Wine dinners I have been to elsewhere always serve a sparkling wine as you come in and sit down. Not cool nor fun. We had to listen to an intro and watch a video which we couldn't hear due to the poor sound quality. Also feel they should have shown the video in parts as we progressed through each champagne. The raffle was nice. Did NOT like that it was in a banquet room - just seemed kind of cheesy and everyone at our table felt the same. The lights should have been dimmer. The food service part just seemed super unorganized even though they had many servers. They were all nice and caring - just definitely not a fine-dining tasting experience and every on at our table said the same thing.

    The service was horrible. The server came to the table when we arrived to take orders and we did not see her again until I asked another server to ask her to bring us our check. One guest at the table advised that she was allergic to coconut and asked for a different dessert option. She did nothing with the request. She took orders for tea, coffee and other drink options at other tables, following dessert, but never asked if we wished to have anything else. Even though I requested my check and advised that I needed to leave, her first priority was to other tables. Her first priority was not to give me my check. She stopped at a different table and had to be asked to give our checks. We were ignored and had to wait more than 30 minutes to pay. I felt like I had to beg someone to take my money. This was not my first wine dinner, but the poor service makes it the most memorable.

    We attended the tastemakers event. When the event first started the server came by and only asked how we like our steak. We never saw her again after that. At the end other tables were offered tea coffee and dessert drinks the server never offered it to our table. We then waited at least 25 mins to get our check after most tables were already gone. I’ve dined at Ruth Chris before and it was a pleasant experience but this one was not the greatest. sommelier was great and so was the manager who was kind enough to ensure I got different dessert after the server stated I would have to pay extra even though I was allergic to what was on the dessert course.

    The interior is quite nice and the steak was very well seasoned. However, what made this night amazing was our server, Kristen Highler. It was my wifes 40th birthday and Kristen elevated the entire night with her pressnce. She was warm, attentive and incredibly friendly. I can truly say that I have never had customer service like that at any place that I have eaten. It blew me away how easily we were able to converse despite being total strangers. The attention that she gave us was simply sublime, but her personality and ability to connect with people is at a level of supreme rareness. For me, what Kristen provided was a life changing dining experience and the best service I have ever had. She deserves to be recognized, promoted, and given a raise. People like her are few and far between. Especially in the service industry. Ruth's Chris is fortunate to have her on its staff!

    Service was great, and drinks were great. When paying $67 for a steak, you should not have to fight the meat while cutting. My ribeye was SUPER tough, and my asparagus was also tough and impossible to cut. I have had far better steaks at Texas Road House for a fraction of the price. We dine at Bare Bones and Uncle Jack’s when we want an extra special steak, and they are around the same price per steak, and a much better quality than we had at Ruth’s Chris.

    Greeting,,seating, and service was great. Almost all of the food was served hot and with one one exception excellent. Regrettably my Lamb Chops were tough as leatherl. Suggest thick cut Lamb chops be removed from the menu. Lolly Pop LambChops are better. GWV
