We chose to dine at Rusty’s because it was in our hotel. There were good options for our kids, as well as adults. The filet mignon I had was one of the best cuts of meat I’ve had in a long while! Only complaint I have is that a couple of the staff were obviously not getting along and rude towards one another. Our waitress was great.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance.

A delightful evening celebrating my parents 49th wedding anniversary! We were kindly greeted and seated at a table set with a special centerpiece for our celebration - nice touch! Our server, Minerva, was attentive and took good care of us! Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend a visit!

Not impressed and very disappointed. The food was just “ok”… the menu extremely small in choices. The sangria was so sweet it was hard to drink. The butter for the bread was frozen. The server moved like a turtle, had no personality, never checked on us at all to see if we liked everything, to ask if we wanted more drinks or water, or bread, dessert and coffee, etc. no enthusiasm at all. There was zero atmosphere, not even music. The food runner would go table to table with food asking if the food he was delivering was yours. At 1 point we asked the server what type of salad another table was being served in a huge taco shell, it looked really good— he told us that’s a private party and that was a matza lol… turns out it wasn’t it was a Caesar salad. He had no clue what he was serving. We live locally and will never go to this restaurant again. Unimpressive. Sheraton dropped the ball on this restaurant.
Extreme slow check in, same person takes take out orders, table service mediocre, needed to ask for silverware, water, drink refill. Food was great though

I couldn't believe how much food you get. I'm a big man and big eater yet I took leftovers home. My steak was outstanding! Out waiter was great. We never waited for any requests as he was spot on.
The steak was exquisite, the mashed potatoes was just super delicious. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you for the great customer service and the wonderful experience.
Everything was fine. But just ok. Nothing special about it and probably a little expensive for the quality.
The food was very good the service and waiters and waitresses were wonderful. The only thing I had a problem with was the lighting because I have sensitive eyes so I asked for a different table. And everyone was very accommodating. And the maître d’ lowered the lights for Valentines night dinner
We went for Valentines. Nothing but great memories. Nice selection of food, great value and outstanding service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We never got to eat there because when we arrived it was closed due to Covid-19. We were very disappointed because open table was not aware of this. The restaurant is highly recommended from others that have eaten there.

Beautiful atmosphere, great food, very nice wine list, great service and very reasonable prices. While in Sand Key we had dinner here on two nights. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our food. Filet mignon, crab cakes, scallops. We were six people and everyone said they had a great meal starting with Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail. Our waiter though was terrific. Marty has a wonderful sense of humour and had in tears laughing. If you reserve ask for his section and you will have an enjoyable meal and an entertaining evening.
The menu is “gourmet”, I ordered a cobb salad with grilled salmon because I didnt want to spend. $35 on an entre,and it was fine, but still overpriced I felt.
The service was impeccable. Martin, our waiter, was aware of our every need! The grouper was delicious. They had a seafood buffet that was pretty good. A little pricey, but you’re at a restaurant in a resort, so that should be expected. Again, the service is what would bring me back!
Worst dining experience I’ve ever had! I’m 65 yrs old, traveled the world as an airline pilot for 33 yrs. NEVER have I been subject to service this bad, especially at a restaurant in an upscale hotel. I invited friends to this occasion and was totally embarrassed. I will be calling Marriott and informing them of this disappointing meal
We went for valentines. There was a man playing piano and outstanding food and service
I was happy to be able to get a 7pm valentine's day reservation for my wife and me! We hadn't eaten there before and were quite pleased by the ultra-friendly reception we received and were promptly seated at our table. The pianist playing was excellent and the salmon we both had was delicious! We will certainly eat at Tusty's Bistro again!

Food was ok. Crab legs good, prime rib, not very good. Understaffed wait staff. Not at all prepared for Valentine's Day. Wish we had a better review, as we're local, and would like to come here more.
Best meal we've had on Sand Key. Started with Caesar salad which was nicely split and served so prettily with a Parmesan crisp bordering the bowl along with a nice crostini to crumble as croutons. The presentation just made you want to dive right in and enjoy the delicious salad. Same can be said for our entrees of filet mignon (6 oz) which looked so appetizing the way the dishes were presented (sorry I didn't take a picture). Steaks were cooked to perfection and just the right size for us. No room for dessert this night but definitely leave room on the next visit.
A good restaurant in a hotel? Right?? Yes, right. We arrived at our condo on Saturday afternoon with no groceries and too tired to cook anyway. The local places we could walk to were all booked till 8:30 or later, when I would have my head on the table asleep. Rustys had room and we booked a table, not expecting much but just glad to get a dinner.
Wow! The service was top notch, with a great, professional waiter who did his job superbly. The food was outstanding. The bread basket included 4 different types of bread, warm, and butter, olive oil and also an olive caper tapenade. We got the conch soup and it was excellent. The dinners? Great. I had the "crab crusted snapper", wondering how one crab dusts. Easy...the served it with an excellent, homemade crab cake on top. I doubt there was any breading at all in the cake. The fish was surrounded by a tangerine sauce, green beans and heirloom carrots. Piping hot, perfectly cooked.
My husband had the grouper and he was just as enthusiastic.
The Restaurant Manager stopped by the table to ensure all was good.
We’ve been in Clearwater for two weeks not staying at the Sheraton, but we’ve been to Rusty’s three times. The grouper with spinach and mashed potatoes are wonderful. Enjoyed the Saturday night seafood buffet, but it was too much food for me. Creme brûlée is good. The live music on weekends was lovely. Service was excellent. Easy to get a reservation and nice atmosphere.
We were on vacation in Clearwater Beach. Yes Restaurant showed up on open table with a 4.2 rating. It is in a big hotel that seemingly hosts lots of conferences. The food is upscale American but definitely not haute cuisine. The appetizers were rplentiful and attractively prepared. Our two fish dishes were well done, except that the fish was dry and apparently over cooked. The hotel restaurant had an all you can eat buffet which was very popular during the dinner hour. Lots of patrons enjoyed several trips to the buffet table. If you are looking for a real good meal at a reasonable price, this is for you if you want a restaurant experience you’ll be talking about cfor a long time look elsewhere.

We made reservations and were seated promptly. Our waitress was very attentive and made outstanding food recommendations. The food was mouthwatering, tasty and generous in size. The ambiance was romantic and calm. We definitely will be eating here again. I highly recommend this restaurant.
