Rusty Scupper - Baltimore
What a wonderful find.!!! We were starting an anniversary week-end and thoroughly enjoyed a late lunch at Rusty Scupper. Our waitress was very personable and efficient .
Food was excellent. Service was well-timed and friendly.
I took my granddaughter on a date, as I did her mother at the same age. We did it up big, so we wanted to go to a perfect spot in downtown Baltimore, some 25 miles for home up north. We arrived a few minutes early on a Wednesday evening and were immediately greeted by the hostess and a gentleman who looked like he might have been waiting for us. (I had noted on my Open Table reservation that this was a special event - outlining the details as I share them here). We walked past numerous tables and my granddaughter and I were shocked when we were taken to the absolutely best seat in the house - a corner table for two situated with a 250 degree viewing arc of the Inner Harbor of Baltimore!!! We were ecstatic. The service was great. We had appetizers, wonderful main courses and scrumptious desserts. We couldn't have had a better time. Thanks to all who made our time special. And thanks to Open Table for making it an easy connection and reservation process.
The food was okay nothing special.
The view is wonderful
I ordered the stuff shrimp n a crab cake i wasn’t impressed. It’s over priced for the taste. I’ve had better food at takeout spots. The waiter was nice but that’s about it i wouldn’t go back
Food quality has decreased over the years. Very unfortunate as this used to be my favorite Sunday jazz brunch.
Beautiful view, and perfect ambiance for a Sunday Brunch.
Best brunch ever
We had a wonderful meal. The Chilean sea bass was done perfectly. Our server was terrific. The place is a little on the pricey side so be aware..
very nice experience. Food was good as was the service. Had a table with a view of the harbor, which is what I had asked for. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for. It was a combination birthday dinner for my girlfriend and myself, so it was worth it. Would go again.
The food was decent but extremely overpriced. The scenery was beautiful and the pianist added a lovely touch.
Very nice host! The view was excellent! Lighting was good.. & a very nice atmosphere
Food reasonably priced. Recommend making reservations for better seating. Wait staff Michael Osteria
Excellent food and service. Best fresh seafood and fish in the Inner Harbour area.
We all enjoyed the views service was great and so was the food! Everything you expect from a dining experience, thanks!!
The appetizers were just okay, but the crab cakes were outstanding. Almost all crab meat and very little filler. Very little local fish. Desserts were just okay because of preparation not because of creative selections. Waiter was ver good and on top of his game.
We enjoyed our dinner at Rusty Scupper after spending a day with our kids at the Science Center. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinners. The kids meals weren’t great - one was really small and the other huge, but the small one was better tasting. The dessert was delicious. Deja, our server, was very nice, efficient, and helpful in describing favorites like the calamari and the butter cake. The sunset was beautiful over the harbor.
Awesome place with wonderful harbor views. Outstanding crab cakes. Fourth of July is a truly grand time and watching fireworks on the outside deck or from inside is special.
Lovely special birthday lunch seated right by the windows. We felt like we were on a cruise ship!
Beautiful setting looking out over the Inner Harbor. Enjoyed the crab cake appetizer which could have been a small meal on its own. A bit pricey, but is a great restaurant for special occasions.
Our first visit and the perfect place to celebrate a birthday while we were visiting the great city of Baltimore! We enjoyed a crab cake appetizer, grilled salmon entree, and jambalaya entree plus yummy drinks. The view at night is fabulous and the wait staff were wonderful! We will be back!
Best creamy crab soup I’ve ever tasted!! The bread and red pepper spread was so original and delicious. I ordered the Crab Fettuccine and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and little kick of jalapeño. I would go there again.
Meal was good service was very good as well. It was very noisy could barely hear the other people at my table talk. There was no blinds on the window where we sat and the sun was in my face the entire meal. However I was glad to have a seat by the water just wish there would have been at least a blind that came halfway down to block the sun
Nice place but food average. Overpriced for what I ordered.
I took my mom and sister to Brunch and it was amazing as always. The food never disappoints and our server, Shawn, was great! His level of service during our dining experience was amazing.
I am from New York City and I would recommend everyone visit Rusty Scupper for a wonderful brunch!
Really bad seafood and very, very, over priced

It was nice price for 2 crab cakes 45 dollars could be a little less.was supposed to be a romantic night with my wife had a table next to use that the people were loud
Was looking for an authentic Baltimore seafood restaurant, and saw this place was highly regarded by other reviewers. Food was good, but not worth returning especially considering the high prices. $57 for Sea Bass special? It is close to the tourist area and the prices reflect it. I’m sure there are other places that can make a decent crab cake for less than $45.
I had the stuff Lobster the lobster was super tough I ordered something different because it was me and my wife's birthday and I should have ordered something basic where you are sitting by the window and it was very warm in there it was my second time there but the next time I think I would drive to another restaurant thank you

We had a lot of fun at the Rusty Scupper. We arrived early but they were easily able to seat us. The beverage and food timing was precise. The food was cooked appropriately...although the lobster in the "crab-stuffed" lobster might have gotten a little dry. The "Maryland" style rockfish was exquisite. Great early dinner in the Inner Harbor.
Have not been here in maybe 8 years. Disappointed with meal, nothing was special.

We celebrated our anniversary at Rusty Scupper because it’s on the water and food is always good. Server was fabulous and very attentive. Made open table reservation and noted our celebration - we were greeted with Happy Anniversary as we walked in and got complementary glasses of champagne. You cannot go wrong here!
This was a great place with excellent service
The ambiance and service were awesome. The food was okay, or at least my meal was. I ordered the King crab legs and though you get a hefty portion the crab meat was just way to chewy, like it had been steamed too long. Not great when you pay a hefty mrkt price for only so-so king crab. My spouse had the Chilean sea bass Asian style and it was phenomenal. I know what to order next time!
Nice location and the ambience is lovely. The food is good but could have a better selection of side dishes. Wait staff were very attentive and polite.
Incredible experience. Expensive menu but if you go for lunch (before 4pm) it is a better value for some excellent food and views. The Maryland crab soup is the best anywhere.
I have been to the Rusty Scupper a few times. The food is always good, and the view of Inner Harbor is beautiful. The Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding, though somewhat pricey..the crab cakes were good, though not as good as I remembered. In all honesty, I preferred the crab cakes at Phillips Seafood the next evening. Rusty Scupper is a very good dinner date spot, though you should expect to pay well over $100 for two. The location and views are romantic and outstanding.
Birthday dinner, waiter Logan was spectacular. Very personable, respectful. Knew what we wanted before we knew. He is the kind of waiter who should train others getting started.
