keep going back to Rusty's Sea Bass, the best fish ever cooked, to perfection
First time there, very nice!!
I made a special request for a table with a view, and they were eager to help.
Went to Rusty Scupper for our anniversary. They put us at a window table with a beautiful view of the harbor. Food was outstanding! They gave us complimentary glasses of champagne which was a very nice touch. Will definitely return for future special occasions!
Food was excellent, however navigating a buffet with a handicap mother was a bit challenging. Didn’t realize that it was buffet style only on Sunday afternoons.
One of my favorite places in Baltimore. Truly a gem.
Family decided on appetizers and desserts. Waiter seemed disappointed then we informed him of our decision. Food was flavorful. Atmosphere was pleasant.
Really Lovely restaurant. My server Eric was 💯% spot on in every aspect of his job. The food is a little pricey. 24$ for 3 scallops is a bit much. The food was very well prepared and tasty. I recommend this restaurant to all.
Chandler our waiter was very professional and made our dinning experience that much better.
Everything was wonderful! We treated some out of town guests, and they loved it. We had the seafood appetizer sampler, plus the calamari (both great), and crab soups to start. Shrimp Jambalaya, seafood special (crab cake and lobster tail), spicy pasta dish and the halibut filet for entrees. Our server's recommendation of Meiomi for a red wine was perfect, and then we topped it off with the warm butter cake... Want to mention Apostoli, who was very attentive and took great care of us, and also the manager who made sure we had the view we hoped for. Although Rusty Scupper is on the expensive side, it is worth it.
Would not recommend. Ambienance great but grilled trout came out overcooked and smelled and tasted like aged fish. Stuffed shrimp with crabmeat was tasteless and crab cake lightly breaded and also bland.
Service and ambiance are top notch, but the food lacked a bit of flavor. Staff was very accomodating and friendly, and really made for a pleasant experience. I would go back and double down on the Pink Crab Soup!
Great food. Somewhat overpriced. Pork chop tender sauce it was in extremely salty. Had a water leak in ceiling management acted quickly to move us to a better table. Small portions for some dishes. Great view on the harbor.
Pros: The cream of crab soup was fantastic. Probably the best I’ve ever had. The complimentary bread was very good. My husband had the shrimp jambalaya and said it was fantastic. The ambience is great. The inside is nicely decorated with great views of the harbor. Our waiter was very attentive and offered menu suggestions.
Cons: Our waiter, although friendly and attentive, rushed us a little too much at the end. We had finished our meals, but still had our drinks, and it felt as though they were trying to get us out the door. It would be best if our waiter didn’t hover after our meal was finished so we could have finished our conversation while enjoying our beverages. I also wasn’t a fan of my salad. The dressing was very bland.
Overall: I would definitely go back. It was a great place for a romantic dinner and I would recommend it.
We have been multiple times for dinner. Best view of the Inner Harbor and delicious seafood. The last time we visited, the service and food were not up to par but this last visit proved that the one poor experience we have had was the exception not the rule. Everything was great and the crab stuffed shrimp are simply delicious. The moonlight glistening over the water is the perfect backdrop for a night with the special people in your life. We will be back the next time we visit the Charm City!
We drove to Baltimore to enjoy the inner harbor and this gave us a great view and a tasty meal. The oysters were fun to share and we each enjoyed our fish. Because it was the day after Thanksgiving neither of us had an appetite for potatoes, but the vegetables that came with our fish were perfect.
The food for Thanksgiving did not compare to the Brunch Buffet. The mac and cheese was extremely running and had not taste. The Prime Rib was tasteless, the desserts did not look appetizing at all and like the mini pies were thrown together. I was extremely dissappointed. And the yams were runny. I ate mostly cold shrimp and lox. The creme brulee was the best part. And the waiter acted as if there was a honey shortage for tea. I will not come back or recommend the Thanksgiving brunch to anyone.
Wonderful Thanksgiving buffet. We will definitely do this again.
I have been going here for years, for several occasions birthdays, Thanksgiving etc. the food is excellent, service is great! I have never sat on the third level, but this year for Thanksgiving we took my elderly parents who can not door stairs very well much less with plates full of food, this is where they sat us, on the third level!!!
The food was good but doesn't match the price by far. I would definitely revisit if I'm in the area because the have a lot of food options for Brunch. Now I wouldn't knock down any doors to get the food but it was decent and I consider myself a foodie.
Its was good. The roast beef was very dry . turkey was good but there was a piece of plastic in the meat maybe from the turkey leg braces ? Seeing is that is all I ate was protein it was good. Good service too.,
Dined here for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic! The food and ambiance was just what we wanted. We'll be back for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Our third year at the Thanksgiving buffet...Awesome again! Lots of wonderful seafood dishes as well as traditional Thanksgiving fare. After the dinner buffet they have a great dessert bar, everything in smaller portions so you can try many different items. We will be back!
We were extremely disappointed. We had been looking forward to dining here. The food was over priced and only average at best. My husband tried to order a shrimp cocktail but was told they were out. How can a seafood restaurant not have the basics. His stuffed lobster was half of the smallest one we ever saw and wAy over priced. We will not go back
Really fresh seafood and delicious!
Food was outstanding. Service was on point. Great place for a special occasion.
We have eaten at the Rusty Scupper several times despite not residing in or near Baltimore. On this occasion the view, as always, was superb, the service was excellent, the noise level, as usual, was high, but the food was served was mediocre. My wife is a vegetarian, and though the Rusty Scupper has little if anything on the menu, the chef whipped up a pasta dish for her that she said was delicious. My halibut, however, was somewhat overcooked.
For reasons having nothing to do with dining we may not be stopping in Baltimore henceforth as much as we have in the past. If we do make it there again, though, I'll give the Rusty Scupper a chance to redeem itself, for I'be had excellent meals there on other visits.
It was my birthday!
Everything was excellent. We truly had an enjoyable time and will do it again.
Food menu changed a bit. Was disappointed in not having crab mac and cheese. The shrimp and grits I could do without. I normally have good seating by the water but didn’t my last visit which was disappointing but not horrible. Good food overall.
I didn’t like the food choices
Great food, service, and view of Inner Harbor.
I brought my niece and cousin here for lunch while I was in town visiting. The food was great. The only small issue was with our entrees. We all had the shrimp scampi. I make this dish often at home. The shrimp scampi here was great. It was overpowered though with a lot of lemon.
We got great service from our waiter. He was there to provide anything we needed before we knew we needed it. I look forward to coming back here on future visits to Baltimore.
very delicious food and wonderful service. Beautiful view of the harbor
Took my wife here for her birthday and it was amazing. The only thing was I ordered the Kent island shrimp with crab stuffing and I asked if there was onions. The waitress said she didn’t think so, that she thought it was only onion powder. Then asked if it was an allergy. It was no, it was just preference. The crab stuffing was nothing but onions and tomatoes. I wish she would’ve double checked for me because I ended up being unhappy with the food for a 35 dollar meal. Either way I still enjoyed it. My wife enjoyed the jumbo lump crab cakes and she thought there was a little bit much of filler rather than crab but the taste was amazing. Overall we will be back to try other things and we both loved the atmosphere for our date night/celebration. We will be back!
This is the best restaurant in Baltimore! The food is spectacular...and the view is unsurpassed!
Delicious food, great service and fantasic view to the harbour
A Baltimore standby I imagine, but they rose out of a touristy experience through excellent and enthusiastic service. We had a great server and greeter. Food and wine were very good. Nice experience, lovely ambiance.
Excellent service and food. Beautiful view of inner harbor. Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. Food recommendations were spot on. Highly enjoyable would definitely go back. Crab stuffed lobster was amazing.
