   Hadn't been to the Rusty Scupper in years, but it was always a fave when we boated on the Chesapeake. My husband and I took our granddaughter there for a "bon voyage" lunch prior to her leaving for a summer internship in South Africe. We sat outside on the upper deck in brilliant sunshine with an unobscured view of the Inner Harbor. Our server, Keith, was simply awesome, the food was DELICIOUS, and the view and overall experience were superb!

   A little disappointed in the food seemed a little bland our new server on his first day tried his best. He was fine, but his trainer let them down wasn’t a horrible place, but surely didn’t understand why it was rated so well by so many but as we all know, timing is everything. It was a very slow night at the restaurant, since it was Monday Memorial Day so should have been better.

   We had a great table by the window, the wine was moderately priced and the appetizers were fantastic, I recommend the Spanish Octopus and Beef Short Ribs, the Crab Cakes are 98% crab meat but are not seasoned so you are basically eating picked crab which is also very good!

    What a fantastic view and great meal. Server was ok, hard to understand because of their accent but nothing you can do about that. We had to ask for bread, after we saw another table receive theirs (they were seated after us), and we're glad we did, that roasted pepper dip was amazing. It wasn't a big deal but if there is going to be a dress code, business casual, maybe the restaurant can abide by that. It didn't bother either of us but it is a visual eyesore when someone comes dressed in gym clothes and management constantly brings attention to them because their whole party wasn't there.

    I went to Rusty Scupper for a birthday dinner. Rusty Scupper provided a friendly warm and atmosphere, as the piano played in the background for dinner. My waiter Keith provided an outstanding service to me and my guests.

    The food was exceptional. I had a salad and salmon and ate every last bit. My boyfriend had some of the best scallops that he has ever had- and he’s had a lot.

    Hmm, let's see.... Delicious salmon prepared Asian-style, great service, wonderful water view, all at a reasonable price (including validated parking)--who could ask for anything more? I've definitely found my go-to place in Baltimore Inner Harbor's Rusty Scupper.

    Location, right on the Inner Harbor is amazing. The food was great - the crab cakes are a must for sure and are the tastiest around. You are guaranteed to have a great experience at the Rusty Scupper

    Just awesome! I have requested a table for my birthday girl, and they have kept the table with the best views. The service was very fast and the people there were very attentive. They have always suggested the right choices for the evening given any course of the food.

    I have wanted to dine here for years. What a great way to celebrate my graduation from Johns Hopkins University! Everything was wonderful. The only thing I would change is to be mindful of using the same oil to fry everything. I am allergic to fish and was disappointed when I could not order the crab hush puppies and seafood plate because they fry everything in the same oil.

    Way too expensive for the food amount and some of its quality. Did not enjoy the hush puppies and the calamari was a very small amount and mostly fried crumbs. Loved the ambiance, style and location of the restaurant.

    This would have been a 5 star experience except our server kept forgetting to bring us drinks that we ordered, did not offer to refill our water glasses, and kept trying to push the octopus and other dishes on us as if he got a commission on them. The ambience is great. We got a table by the water. The food and Wine was great. The restaurant did a nice job of accommodating the vegetarian in our group. The noise level was not too bad. We could speak in normal voice levels and hear our other 3 table mates very well.

    I chose this restaurant's Mother's Day Brunch experience on the basis of what I had heard from multiple sources - including my wife, in whose celebration my outing was planned. It was my first - and likely, last - visit to the establishment. While the ambience and service were about what I expected, I cannot overstate my disappointment that the food - which is ultimately why I went - was not more appetizing. To their credit, items prepared at the omelet station were satisfactory. But, that's the extent of any favorable assessment I can give. A dish featuring chicken thighs that was on the main bar was dry and bland; shrimp and oysters from the raw bar were distasteful and notably not fresh; the breakfast sausage links were overdone and dry. My wife, her sister, our son and our nephew (all return patrons, who dined at a nearby table) universally conveyed their disappointment and surprise with the experience. To a person, they agreed that with the exception of the omelet station, the prepared menu items of which we partook were, at best, mediocre. Factored with the holiday pricing, it was an overall poor, unenjoyable dining experience.
