Excellent for our Hopkins faculty interviews - has it all - good food, view of the harbor, quiet tables.
What a great dinner, server was very knowledgeable and attentive from wine selection to menu suggestions. Helped celebrate special occasion with complimentary champagne! Food was well-prepared very tasteful . View requests overlooking the harbor honored and beautiful. Liquor was a bit more pricey than usual Likely an edit premium for city location, but overall very nice and I would highly recommend
We celebrated my husband 's birthday and it was very nice! We requested a table by the window and the view was beautiful! The food and service was outstanding! Thanks for a very memorable evening!
It was great
I truly enjoyed the Buffett style Brunch, it was delicious and had plenty to choose from. The service was incredible and the bottomless drinks were amazing. Although some may find it expensive, the price is well worth the pleasure!!
Went for Sunday Jazz Brunch. Had a great time. The food was great. I only wish there was a choice or grits or oatmeal for a breakfast item.
There was a lot of seafood including the omelet station which was very nice. They had different mimosa to try as well. My wait staff was awesome. He kept the drinks flowing and offered suggestions.
The view of the water and the Jazz playing in the background was so peaceful.
I will certainly come back when I come into town.
Brunch was awesome! The food was well prepared, plenty of options to choose from and very flavorful.
Food was not the quality we would have expected for the price we paid. The fish and chips was extremely greasy/oily even though it was a fried dish, it was overly saturated. The lobster macaroni and cheese failed to meet expectations as it was equally as dissatisfying. It was composed of a greasy bowl of macaroni with melted cheeses, minimal flavor, --and a very small tail of lobster that required the consumer to cut and mix within the dish..it's possible that we may have visited the restaurant on a "bad day", but as of this time it is difficult to tell. Our server was difficult to understand as he did have a heavy accent and multiple occurrences of miscommunication occurred throughout our meal.
The food is so delicious and passed my expectations. Ill recommend it
This was a special family night out while enjoying Baltimore for the weekend. We originally tried to get reservations at Phillips seafood across the harbor. However they were booked and we are happy things worked out the way they did.
When we arrived around 630 it was not very busy and fairly quiet in the restaurant. However by the time we left it was bustling with the dinner crowd.
It at first looked a bit too fancy to take our kids but they had a great kids menu and fantastic service to ensure we were not waiting long.
The view was fantastic even with the rain.
We ordered crab soup, crab cakes, cioppino, and the kids got the fried shrimp.
Everything was very tasty, was delivered promptly and our drinks were never empty.
Very satisfied evening for everyone.
Our server was outstanding! He took great care of us and never missed a beat. I would recommend the blackened scallops on sauteed spinach - very good. The creme brule was perfection. We'll be back!
Great service. The wine that the waiter convinced me to get went so well with my dish — I don’t even have words. Food was incredible. A little pricey, but completely worth it!
We very much enjoyed celebrating our daughter's 16th birthday at Rusty Scupper. We took her and her two (younger) siblings there as an indicator of how special we thought the birthday was. The kids were impressed and the dinner was excellent!
Food was well cooked, flavorful. Ambience didn’t pair with the prices. I had the swordfish and was done well. The calamari appetizer was not what i expected. Parmesan breaded thrown on top of what looked like jar marinara sauce. The music was a bit loud, and the furniture seemed like it needed refurbishing. The restroom was dark and not well kept. Overall I thought the experience was overpriced for the quality of food, ambience noise level. The waiter was exceptional and friendly. I would go back again but with some hesitation.
My fiancé and I have been celebrating our meeting here for years. Our favorite dish is Shrimp Scampi. The best we've ever had anywhere. To our dismay, it was taken off the menu three months ago. Although, there were many other choices, none of what we ordered was as good. The biggest challenge was the temperature. It was cold. Although the temperature was adjusted several times, the heat did not last, cooling one's food too soon. Had to eat quickly.
We wanted to try a new place at the Harbor since we have a habit of only visiting 2 or 3 restaurants all the time we come to Baltimore. Reservations were easy and accommodating on open table and was seated quickly. So far so good right? That's when he started to go downhill. After our waiter explained we would have (2) servers for our dining experience we then had to flag a 3rd after 30 minutes of no drinks and no ordering. 2 tables were seated after us and had drinks and also were delivered a bowl of bread, again I had to flag someone down for that. An hour or so into the evening our food arrived. I had the oysters they were good but still had to ask for crackers, the shrimp cocktail was good but overdone. My wife had the crab cake and she seemed to be please with that (1 win). After hearing apologies and waiting for our check (another 15 minutes) we left and honestly agreed to never return again. Happy we tried something new but not pleased with our first and last experience at the Rusty Supper, seemed more fitting without the "C" in the name.
The view of the pier was excellent and the service we received was outstanding. My wife and I had seafood and it was prepared very nicely. Excellent place for dinner with a view.
A great view of the harbor, great food and great service.
Brought my wife here (Rustic Scupper)for the first time for she birthday and she loves it. We will definitely come back here again. The waitress was very helper in helping us with our choices on the menu. The foods was tasty, just over all great. Waitress was knowledgeable and good spirits which are a plus to me and my wife. This place is awesome for both family and singles. The price is fair. I have been to many restaurant and I won’t say the same. I will recommend Rustic Scupper to friends and family. Thank you again Rustic Scupper for a great experience.
The restaurant was prompt and our waiter was amazing. Every plate was excellent and super fresh. Can’t wait to have a reason to go back.
For Valentine's day, they had a preselected menu but there was nothing else that was done to make the night special ie no flowers no center pieces no nothing special. We were underwhelmed.
Terrible experience felt rushed. Food was mediocre. For an expensive meal go someplace else this place needs practice on good customer service
Amazing view and food! Would recommend.
Portion of the meal could have been a little bigger
Everything was great, except it took a while for the food to be prepared. Champagne was an awesome touch for my parents anniversary! Thank you
Loved everything about the brunch, however would like to see crab legs on the menu from time to time.
Sunday Brunch. Terrific experience.
Pricey, great food, great for any special occasion during a trip to Baltimore.
Great food and service.
We were seated next to the kitchen AND their party room. It was so FRIGGIN LOUD that I could barely hear my date. The Scupper is way too expensive to have such a lousy table. Avoid that corner table!
Loved it! Food was amazing, service was great. The waiter was very kind and tended to our needs every chance he got. We went around 5:30 pm and around 6:30-7:00 it got a little noisy. But overall the scenery and the overall experience was amazing. Will go back again! The cream of crab was delicious!
