Food was and music were good but it is expensive and then although they validate your parking ticket there is still a $9 charge to use their parking lot. After spending over $100 for brunch for 2, this seemed very unnecessary and left a bad feeling about the whole experience.

Great experience. Incredible view of Baltimore Harbour lights. My short ribs with crab oscar dish was delicious. Server was attentive but not pushy. Food arrived fast. Value was good. Highly recommended.

As usual, the food and service were wonderful. I will be back. The only reason they lost a star with me this visit (and I've eaten here multiple times with 5 stars) is that I was disappointed in the fulfilling of my reservation request. I had 2 older people from out of state with me who can't walk well but very much wanted to see the color of Light City. It is the only reason that The Rusty Scupper was chosen for dinner this night. I purposely made very early reservations so we could get a table with a view of the lights and requested such in my reservation. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, and wasn't even full when we were finished, but we were seated around the far end without a view of the festival. To be clear, almost every table in this restaurant has a lovely water view, but not of the Light City installations. I'm guessing that tipping the host may be the only way to get the table you want as this is the second time I've asked for specific seating and got the exact opposite.

What a disappointment! We haven't been there in years and decided to try it again and so sorry we did. The waiter from the start was overbearing, quite high on himself and I assume he is getting a kickback on the warm butter cake dessert since he could not have pushed it anymore than he did! We both ordered the chilean bass prepared two different ways: the vegetables were almost unrecognizable and very mushy - no flavor. While my simply prepared fish was tasty, the asian version was tasteless. My fish sitting on a lump of mashed potatoes was bizarre - and I mean there were two golf ball size lumps of unmashed potatoes to contend with; the sticky rice was grains of semi cooked rice.

We could not end this meal fast enough but first had to deal with the absolutely exorbitant check - outrageous cost even for an Inner Harbor restaurant. Would highly recommend diners eat elsewhere - this is not a place to relax, unwind and have a great dining experience - quite the opposite!!

Beautiful views of the Inner Harbor. With a reservation for brunch, we were seated immediately, which was impressive considering how many people were waiting in the entrance. Food was delicious, fresh, and replaced frequently. Except for the omelette station which stopped replenishing about 45 minutes before the end of the brunch session.

The live jazz band was great and our waitress was very professional and attentive.

It's not many brunch places in baltimore of that magnitude. This was my first experience. The parking lot was small. Was difficult to park due to the pillars. Getting inside to the front check in desk took 10 mins at least. With so many ppl arriving at 1030 (my reservation time) it took 20-25 mins from getting my omelette made and going through the buffet to returning to my table. Food had run out. Running out of clean plates. Food wise the standouts were the omelette, the bacon and potatoes. Anything else was average or below. Fruit wasn't fresh. The mimosas were and drink selection was fine. Desserts were good. The jazz band was ok but we were sitting right by the band. At times was louder than we liked. This review is a consensus of three others and myself. For $50 a person I had higher hopes. I would not tell others not to try it but I'm not putting this on my will return list. Service was great. No problem there. Biggest issue was the arrival process and the food not being as appetizing as other brunch buffets I've attended elsewhere.

First of all the food was really good.

Service was for lack of a better word complete and utter trash. We had a reservation and a server did not stop by our table for over twenty minutes after we were sat until we went downstairs and found a manager and asked for one. The manager promised to buy us an app for our trouble, didn’t, and then was never seen again. After that we saw the server every half hour. Courses didn’t come out together. The first entree on the table came out ten minutes before the last entree. The server couldn’t be bothered to refill water or offer another round of drinks.

In conclusion, it’s a beautiful space. Food is great. For the service provided it would have been overpriced at 5% of the cost. The worst service I’ve had in my life really ruined the whole experience. Will not be back. Will not recommend. And management really couldn’t be bothered to care. They’re just there to take money from people eager for the view.

Atmosphere and view were incredible, felt like I was being up sold on my dish by the waitress though. My dish was very good but could've done without all the Old Bay seasoning they used. Not a bad place but probably will not be returning.

King crab was literally still frozen. They reheated it and re-served. It was no good after that and price was about $80. for that plate alone.

We hate getting our dinner delivered, while we are still finishing our soup! Also, the kitchen "ran out of whipped cream". It took far to long to get the special pumpkin read pudding. Waiter never returned to ask me if I wanted more coffee, when he finally delivered the pumpkin bread pudding. Nice place, but disappointed .

The food was amazing. Seafood tasted fresh. The crab cake appetizer was better than the actual crab cake entree!! I was highly disappointed that the German chocolate cake was topped with a sauce that has chili infused in it.. the menu did NOT mention this and I am allergic to chili powder!! Thankfully, I tasted it immediately and was able to minimize an allergic reaction.

The view was breathtaking and the service was very good. However, the chicken picatta dish was a bit underwhelming. Both of my parents ordered that dish and the chicken was so dry and tough on both of their dishes that neither my mother nor my father could eat it. They ate around the chicken and said the potatoes and veggies were good, but they didn't get to enjoy the protein, unfortunately. For the prices on the menu, the food should be outstanding and certainly not dry or tough. Our server was excellent and did a great job, but the food was disappointing, especially for my parents.

The staff was friendly enough and service was good. The food was above average generally. I wouldn’t get the steam pot if I were you. It was a somewhat tasteless though impressive conglomeration of gifts from the sea but it tasted exactly like it was billed: “steamed”. in other words, hot water and no taste. As well, their crab spareribs were basted and weird-enough boeuf Bourguignon sauce that it even made the crab taste strange. My friend had a steak and had no complaint.

On the great side, the crab cake appetizers were best in the area. The view was fantastic and the ambiance was very conducive to chatting and relaxing..

We made a reservation through Open Table. When we arrived, we were told they had no tables immediately available. When we mentioned that we had a reservation, we were told that they do take reservations, but seating is first come, first served. That begs the question, why do they take reservations? After a very minimal wait, we were seated. This was a birthday celebration and I had requested a window, harbor front table. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, with no attempt to accommodate my request. The food was okay. The crab dip lacked any real flavor, bland at best. This is Chesapeake Bay country; I expected better. The entrees were better, but again, jambalaya that lacked the requisite spice. The short ribs were good, but no spice on the crab meat that made up the Oscar portion of the plate. The service was fine, but not up to the standards of a $200+ meal. Unfortunately, it seems that this restaurant has become more of a tourist trap than the quality spot it once was.
