Best food we’ve had in Phoenix. The chef owned restaurant is high in the quality of the food and the service was great. Rex was very friendly in explaining the menu. He made excellent recommendations. All staff was very personable and worked as a team. The atmosphere was playful and relaxing. The chef owner came over and made sure the food and experience was good. Well done guys.
Food was Exceptional, service was every good as the food. Will be back often.
Rusconi’s is one of our favorite restaurants. The food was delicious, service was wonderful. Attention to detail was spot on.
Our waiter , who we had once before, Holden, was superb. His personality and charm along with his love of what he does, made for an enjoyable dinner. We brought friends who had not been there before and they left as fans. Holden had remembered what wine we ordered from the last time we were in. I found that very impressive!
Great dinner and a wonderful night!
Always great food and great atmosphere
We are snow birds in NE Phoenix and always make the drive to have dinner at Rusconi's. It is truly our favorite spot for a special dinner and to entertain friends and family visiting the area. A special touch- they provide a complimentary birthday dessert too!
We always enjoy the food here and the food presentation. Nice variety and unique options. Prices are higher than need to be.
Truly excellent from start to finish!!!
We have patronized this restaurant so many times since it opened. I recall Michael Rusconi commenting to us that he somhoped it would garner the local neighborhood clients. It did, and then some. It remained our favorite place to dine for both casual and special occasions.
The last two or three times the food has been less than expected. Just so-so. Nothing much has changed in the menu and it’s just become passe’. Michael was so creative and energetic at the birth of this little gem. I hope this bit of criticism rekindles his passion. I really would like to return and have that amazing culinary experience again.
As great as the food was, the service was equally good. We have eaten here many times and always have great service and great food. I try not to recommend it too much because I want to be sure I'm able to get in!
Always a great meal at Rusconis. Quality ingredients are definitely used and always something unique (but not far fetched) on the menu. The wait staff is also top notch.
Great drinks, food & service
Enjoyed the bar tender, personable and helpful
Food was mediocre. Wine list limited. Service was good. Atmosphere is nice.
Good and consistently delicious . The chicken is outstanding. Very efficient and good service.
Great service and recommendations. Had the lamb which was spot on. Wife had the salmon which was also great. Fondue appetizer was solid and would order again. Service was amazing. Restaurant is a bit loud at dinner.
It was fabulous! Everything we ate was delicious. Definitely try the dark chocolate bread pudding ... we were on the fence when we ordered it but it was worth every bite!
Consistently great!
Great food, great service, very efficient. It doesn't get any better than this. One of our favorites in the valley.
Great food and service. Will be back.
Food was delicious as always. One of our favorite restaurants when we’re in town. Decided to try something new from my usual - the sweet potato bisque and the scallops and went with Chef Michael’s special creations - a beet soup that was phenomenal and a delicious duck breast on top of a vegetable hash. The duck breast was cooked to perfection. Cocktails excellent and sorbet sampler for dessert. Service was good but is usually great! Server was not as personable and friendly as we’re used to at Rusconi’s but he warmed up nicely as the meal progressed. We look forward to visiting again soon.
Delicious meal and delightful waiter and service. We’re out here from Massachusetts with girls playing soccer.
Food and service was excellent.
Outstanding experience. Kris was a professional attentive server. Both of us had the outstanding scallop dish which was served to perfection. Flavors and textures were amazing. Chocolate bread pudding ala mode was out of this world. A real home run.
Very good experience. Great waitstaff, excellent food. We were on a schedule as we we were going to concert and they accomodated us. Great touch, they called the next day to check on our experience..
The food was amazing & our waiter was fantastic! All of his recommendations were great.
My husband and I have introduced many friends to this restaurant - it never disappoints. My favorite is the tenderloin medallions with green Chile mac'n cheese. Excellent! Their specials are always outstanding - tonight we had an appetizer of crab cakes with sweet Arizona shrimp - so yummy!
I love Rusconi’s. It’s always good. Food and service were great for Easter Brunch. Only complaint: mimosas, bloody Mary’s, etc were not the usual Sunday price, but instead were full price. On top of a $58 brunch, the drink cost was a bit steep.
Easter brunch was amazing!
Rusconi’s is our favorite neighborhood restaurant.
The Easter Sunday Brunch is a must go to event. The kitchen, bar and staff gear up for a busy day and did not disappoint.
Great experience... as usual. Delicious food. I'm never disappointed!
This is my favorite restaurant in Phoenix. The service was excellent without being intrusive and the food was exquisite. I recommend the roasted chicken with risotto and carrots. The risotto is seasoned with wonderful herbs and green chile and the best I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly prepared in terms of flavor and texture. Thank you, Rusconi's!
Wounderfull service , great food , our sever Craig made the evening !! The pork chop special was out standing .
We will be back.
The Soup was Luke warm the salad was just OK Burger was good as was the salmon.
A bit expensive for what you get.
Great food, excellent service! The scallops were deliciously prepared. The service (Brian was our server) was top notch from the great wine suggestion to the surprise birthday dessert...it was a great way to spend time with my friends.
We have been going to Rusconi's for a year or so. We have never had a bad meal there. Mr. Rusconi is a marvelous chef and his management is marvelous. We have gone to several of the wine tasting venue's and have never been disappointed. I would recommend this restaurant experience to anyone. The only issue for us is that it is 45 minutes plus from our house and we still make the trip. Marvelous!
I reserved a table for 5. When we arrived we were taken to a rectangular table set for 6. The hostess simply took away one place setting leaving one person to sit with an empty place in front of them. I had to insist that she take the extra chair away so we could spread the places out and ensure everyone was included. Really not a great start to what ended up to be a great evening.
This was our second time to dine at Rusconi's and we were just as pleased with the food and service as we were on our first visit. The short ribs, the chicken, and the bread pudding for dessert are already special favorites. My only complaint with this visit was that there was a lot of smoke coming from the kitchen which is open to the dining area. This may have been because a filet was the special that evening but it caused the experience to be less enjoyable than it was the first time we went. We love the food though and we will certainly be back for another meal.
Delicious!
Food and service were superb. However our table was very close to the kitchen and it was difficult at sometimes to have a conversation.
