Limited menu anymore. Service slow to acknowledge us at the beginning and then after ordering, everything came out in the wrong order. Didn’t get our drinks until after salad and then still after the entrees were served, drinks arrived. Salad was fresh and tasty but entree was over salted and came while we were just beginning to eat salads. It was a busy night so we will try Rupert’s again another time. We have had good meals and service in the past so this might have been just an off night. Lovely setting for sure.

We took our son to Rupert’s for his 21st bday. We had an amazing time. I had the elk meatloaf. OUTSTANDING! Always love trying the new things the chef puts on the menu. One of my favorite places to go.

Rupert's is always a go-to when I'm in McCall. Dinner on Saturday was excellent as I would expect. We had the sea bass and salmon and both were delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service was great and dinner was excellent.

When we got sat we waited for a long time to get our drink order and then after that 15 more minutes for the drinks to arrive. After we put in our order just to see our salads be given away to the neighbor table! When we pointed out to another waiter (after he gleefully said “we are all happy now” to the other table when he offered them a house salad because he served them our Caesar salad) he was dismissive of us! When our food finally arrived, it was served cold. ALL COLD! The only nice thing about it was our server Hannah.

Was seated promptly with a beautiful lakeside view. Hannah was our server and very attentive however never checked how our entrees were and our salmon dinners were cold. The vegetable medley was tasty but again cold and the edamame was raw. The elk meatloaf was delicious though. It was a special occasion and noted in our reservation but nothing special after dinner happened as does usually. Very limited menu but appetizers were wonderful.

We were disappointed that they ran out of one of the specials, but they did substitute the side dishes on the salmon, which was appreciated! However, the salmon was not seasoned much at all and was overcooked. The flat iron steak was very tasty but ordered medium-rare, and was cooked to medium/slight pink. The raspberry crumble dessert was very good, and our server was excellent. We enjoy dining at Rupert’s.

We spent our 50th anniversary at Rupert's. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate to allow dinner on the patio, but Chris and his staff provided us with the best table in the restaurant- on the window- lake view. The food was, as always great and the service was terrific. All in all a very nice evening at McCall's bet restaurant.

We had a lovely time getting a few drinks at the bar before dinner. It wasn’t busy and the view of the lake was nice. Bartenders both very kind and drinks were tasty. When we were seated for our dinner reservation, however, the vibe changed. I understand that the restaurant was full and this is a very busy season, but it took the waiter quite a while to even take our drink order. When he did, it felt rushed. He was nice, but we felt awkward about the energy. Our appetizers and drinks came about 4 minutes before our meal, and the flautas were very over cooked. Our waiter refilled our water a few times, but we eventually walked up to the front desk and pay our tab since he never came back. We booked dinner here because it was a special occasion so this was quite a disappointment, especially considering how much we paid.
