Chef Anne and super friendly staff have done it again! Providing us with an outstanding array of Drinks, snacks, app's and main dishes to die for. Food was absolutely horrible. My food was cold. I ordered lamb chops while my friend ordered steak. The waitress took over an hour to bring us our food. She didn't apologize. She acted like it was no big deal. When we told her how cold our food was, she said it was supposed to be like that. Oh, okay, we didn't know lamb chops and steak supposed to be cold. Sorry. The 1 hour dinner turned out to be 4 hours. 1 hour of waiting for our drinks and 1 hour of waiting for bread. The best part was over an hour wait for our entrees.
Rue Dumaine always has such a fantastic menu. The food is always top quality, drinks are fantastic, as is the wine list. If you don't know what wine would be good with your meal, just ask for Evan's assistance for a selection - he never misses! I absolutely LOVE this place.

Fabulous meal - so sorry to hear it's closing! Service was slow but I'm guessing that's because they were swamped with people trying to enjoy the experience one last time.
We are looking forward to Anne's next special ventures. It is sad that she could not work out the lease term, but I know she will move on to bigger and better things for her foodie following. She is a talented chef, smart business person, and such a great asset to the Miami Valley. There hasn't been a time that we weren't in the restaurant that she didn't come to our table to chat with us personally. You don't find exquisite dishes and a wonderful chef like this anywhere! the food was excellent the wait staff appropriately attentive. the tables are too close together.
The food was excellent and we (my husband and I) had a very nice dinner. I tried a few new things and enjoyed every bite. The owner stopped at our table twice and was very gracious. Great night!
The food was not even the quality as the reviews stated. I ordered the Hanger steak for $28 and all I got was three small pieces of burnt meat covered in a large plate of french fries. The other diner ordered the Salmon special, which was undercooked. From seating for the time of the bill took two hours. We noticed all parties that were seated when we were, had left a least an hour before we finished. The waitress couldn't figure out way our food took so long to prepare
We really enjoyed the friendly staff, the great food and the overall experience. Looking forward to going back again.
