Columbia has so many good dining choices. Rudy's stands out for not only its authentic Turkish dishes but for the way we we treated first as special guests then, as the evening progressed, we became family! Thank you, Mohammed and Dee. We shall return!

Great food poor customer service and rude waiter who was quick to loose his temper.
I was with work friends and hope they enjoyed the food and not the service

This is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant with superb Mediterranean and grilled food. We thought the hummus was as good as any we have eaten in the Middle East. The shrimp kabobs were tasty and cooked just right. Beef and lamb were delicious. The service was attentive and wonderful.

Food was good. Service was too slow. Waitress told my 3 year old grandson he had to eat his dinner so he could have desert. We didnt plan on eating desert as the service was so slow thus he had a toddler tantrum in the restaurant. She needed to mind her own business and keep her hands to herself

Rudy's Mediterranean Grill is definitely worth the trip. The staff was super friendly, helpful and accommodating, and the food was delicious. We had a large group and everyone felt like they had personal service and a wonderful meal. The food was spicy, in a very flavorful way, and the portions were huge. The prices were very good, especially considering how much food came with the meal. We were there for brunch but can't wait to try it again for dinner and/or lunch. The restaurant is back in a large business park (in Columbia) so it's a little bit off the beaten track but don't hesitate to locate the restaurant for a great meal. If you work in the business park, I would make a point of having lunch or going after work for dinner.

Classic Turkish cuisine served in a Western atmosphere. Service left something to be desired...our main courses came to quickly after the appetizers without need as the tables were gradually emptying. The food was satisfying but not outstanding.

Had been here about a year ago and was less than enamored with the food, but wanted to give it another try. This time the food did not disappoint. Service was spectacular - attentive, but not overly so, and very informative regarding questions about menu items. Was not very busy when we were there for dinner on a Monday evening given it is located in a business park with no homes nearby, but don't let that dissuade you from giving Rudy's a try.

This was a great new place to try. We had never had Turkish food before. The menu seems overwhelming because it is not familiar food, but just go for it because it is all good! The dessert was good too. The owners were very friendly and it really did feel like you were invited into their home for dinner!

Three of us had delicious meals made from fresh ingredients (sometimes you can just tell.) Mine was the best spanakopita ever. Our waiter, Shack, was outstanding and the best interpreter of unfamiliar foods we had ever heard. His descriptions of the desserts was so thorough and enthusiastic that we ordered two of them to share.

Wanted to try for a long time, so we went for Father's Day. Special menu in place did not have the combo appetizer but they made it for us anyway. The food was very good, if not plentiful, and everyone enjoyed the entrees. We had Beef Kebab, Chicken and Lamb Adana, and the Famous Iskender Kebab. While a little on the pricey side, the food was definitely worth the visit. Shaq did a great job as our server. He made us feel welcome and provided quick, efficient service without being intrusive. Will try again on a day that doesn't have a special menu.

Met my friend for brunch there. Father's Day Sunday, they had a special menu. The food was ok. My friend thought everything was somewhat bland. My lamb chops were ok, nothing special. Turkish coffee was good. The service, however, was very slow. With a variety of Mediterranean restaurants in Northern Virginia, I would definitely not be going back to Rudy's.

Went for happy hour (free appetizer with drink order)/dinner with spouse and friends. Don't remember drink order, but it was good. Chose Sigara boregi for appetizer; delicious. Ordered Ground Beef Pide for entree; different, but not bad. Spouse ordered Beyti Yogurt for entree; delicious. Don't remember friends' orders, but they said everything was good. Great service. Best option for Mediterranean food in Columbia.

Decent Turkish food. Nice place.
Food was a little bland, to my taste.
The Mezze combo was a nice variety and tasty. The lamb kabobs were overcooked. Lamb gyro meat on pita platter with feta and tomato was very good.
Desserts were delicious. Good choices of Turkish wines. We had an excellent red.

Rudy's was an unexpected gem. Who knew there was a Turkish restaurant in Columbia? The owners and waitstaff are hands-on and personally invested in making sure we had a good experience. Service was stellar, and, over a couple of nights, we had some wonderful dishes we had never had before, and I wish I remembered what they were called. Gyro meat featured prominently, but it was much nicer than what you'd get from a doner kebab cart.

Rudy's is on the pricey side, but it is a good value. Check it out.

We were a multi-generational party of 6, celebrating Mother's Day. 5 out of 6 people ordered various lamb dishes. Each one was slightly different and all were delicious. The 6th person ordered chicken and she was happy with her food, too.

Went for Mothers Day, although it was very busy it was amazingly efficient and every dish was great and the Turkish beer perfect to accompany the food. Rudy knows how to give great value, great service and the best Mediterranean food one could hope to experience. The dolmas were the best ever and lamb dishes we all shared exquisite and perfectly made and presented. It is now on my monthly must do list

What a great find! We took a chance on Mother's Day and made reservations, even though we'd never been to Rudy's. We were not disappointed! The restaurant was crowded, but the staff was great, very attentive, helpful, and did not appear to be rushed or stressed. The food was outstanding. We had the beef shish kebab, moussaka, lamb adana, and lamb adana yogurt. No complaints! For dessert, we recommend the baklava and turkish coffee. Enjoy!

We were there on the Saturday night before Mother's Day. It was very busy which was understandable as the food was very good. We had the owner and several waiters check back with our table many times as they didn't want us to be overlooked on this busy evening. The hummus was absolutely delicious!!
