Always a great experience at RPM Steak...the food, service, ambiance never fails. Arrived a little early for my reservation and host was gracious to seat us. Always on my list of restaurants to visit when I'm traveling.

We really appreciated our night. Food was amazing, I would say the ambience was great. I would rate this up there with the other top steak houses in Chicago.

I made reservations for Valentine’s Day for me and my wife at RPM Steak as me and my wife have spent a lot of time trying out different restaurants around the city, especially steakhouses, and this place has been one that we’ve been trying to scratch off the bucket list for a while. Sadly RPM just didn’t deliver from the get-go. It started from the moment we pulled up, the valet just refused to acknowledge I existed even after I came down and approached his stand. I was trying to be polite until things simply took excessively long and I had to say something. This was a sign of things to come. We spent a total of 3 hours there without really hanging out. We just waited A LOT. We were seated rather promptly but we had to wait a long time to get waited on. We waited even longer for our food to come out. We waited even longer for the dessert! We thought we were finally out of the woods until I had to hunt down the valet and waited over 20 min till they finally got my car. If I’m spending $300 on a dinner (without drinks my wife is pregnant), I would recommend Mastros, Morton’s, Gibson’s, and Chicago Cut before I would ever recommend going to RPM. I would recommend going to Olive Garden 5 times before recommending RPM once. Furthermore, the food wasn’t special by no means. The Steak was lukewarm compared to the sizzling steak crackling at 500 degrees elsewhere. It just doesn’t compare to the other options, especially at the price.

Dang good. Wagyu mafia and reserve strip for the win.

Excellent food and service. The steaks are really outstanding.
We would highly recommend the thick cut bacon appetizer and the imperial wagyu reserve strip steak. Quite extensive wine list. Do not skip desert - they have worthy items to finish a memorable meal.
Not sure why a restaurant in this price category would skip on table cloth... otherwise very pleasant ambience, modern without being cold.
One of our new favorite places. Highly recommended.
