Rozafa is a great Mediterranean bistro... food is great... wait staff is pleasant and efficient.
My only negative comment is on the price of Josh Cellars Cabernet wine. We were charged $10 for a glass and $40 for a bottle. When checking their website the glass was $8 and the bottle was $25. When I asked the owner about the discrepancy he stated that it wasn’t his website. He doesn’t list his wines. But interestingly enough everything else on this “pseudo “ website was exactly the menu and prices.
Truly don’t find the owner customer friendly if you have a question.
Excellent food and drink and the BEST waitress around!!!
Great spot. Kind of Undiscovered. Price fixe on Valentines Day was a good value. Food, as always, was great. Nice, moderately priced wine list (they also do a great breakfast, which is how I discovered this spot.
Our server, Kat, was great. It was very crowded and the service was a little slow. No reflection on Kat at all.
Cozy little neighborhood place, very clean, basic but with a good wine list. Food is good, tasty and well presented, and the service is very pleasant and friendly.
Waitress was awesome. It is a small restaurant so noise will depend on the people inside but the atmosphere was great. Food was very good. Will go back.
My sisters and I visited on an airbnb recommendation and we were blown away. The food tasted great and arrived promptly. The portions were generous but did not leave us feeling overly full. The wine was also poured generously. In addition to all of this, our waitress, Kat, was personable, accommodating, and really made the entire dining experience.
Food was great. Drinks were very good and imaginative. Waitress was excellent. Will return.
Haddock Rockefeller was a little dry and not enough Rockefeller! Pizza not enough sauce. But everything else was excellent. Those who had scallops with risotto were impressed! Bread and hummus delish. Coffee was outstanding. And our server Brianna was lovely.
It's a hidden gem! You would never guess from the exterior that it would produce such high quality food and service.
Dined here on a Tuesday evening 5:30pm. It was very quiet and comfortable sitting outside under the canopy with string lights. Not many there at that time which was nice. Celebrated our 1st anniversary and the hostess/waitress was nice to serve us sparkling Rose wine. We ordered an excellent bottle of red Spanish wine. Overall the food was very good, however it was a bit too salty for my taste. We had the bruschetta app, steak and salmon. All good, very good quality but too salty. I would not hesitate to go back, but I would let them know to go easy on that. The tiramisu was homemade and a dessert favorite, although this was quite flavorless and nothing special. I wanted so much to like it but it didn't do it for me. But, it was a special evening, great friendly service and comfortable atmosphere outside. I also liked the start with bread and homemade humus & olive oil. Very tasty. I recommend Rozafa definitely. Thanks Rozafa for making our evening a memorable one!
Everyone enjoyed the food and sitting outside. Not buggy or too hot. Great night!
Rosafa had a really cool vibe. Our server was extremely attentive and had a wonderful personality. The sangria we tried was delicious, and the bolognese was out of this world. My only complaint was that we ordered the Bruschetta as an app and it was way overly salted, it was almost inedible. The rest of the food was delicious so it may have just been a one-off mistake. We would definitely go back.
Rozafa is somewhat of a hidden gem. We went for dinner and one of our party had a special request for a variation of a menu item. The restaurant was glad to help. Food is mostly, if not all, cooked to order. Waitress was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. All were pleased with their dinners. Have dined here in the past and will continue to do so in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
Super nice staff and food was excellent
It's a wonderful, small, family-run restaurant. There were four of us and everyone raved about the meal.
Enjoyed both our dishes. Lovely service. Fresh ingredients
Menu maybe could be revised to be more summertime with light choices
My favorite destination for a special meal. Want to try a burger at the bar too!!
Everything was delicious! Cleaned our plates😊 Waitress was awesome!..We love it here
Cute place with a nice patio. Food was very good.
Love, love, love Rozafa. Very warm feeling, family run atmosphere. Excellent food and reasonably priced. Great wine selection too!
Excellent food, atmosphere and best waitress ever!!!
The place had an odor of an old wet mop, and it was cold in there. The appetizer was cold. The pizza was terrible.
Well prepare meals and decent sized portions. Friendly atmosphere.
Amazing food and even better service. Our server was attentive without being pushy. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We shared the bruschetta and charcuterie to start both were fantastic. For entrees we had the steak tips, the stuffed fish, bolognese and linguini with clams. Perfect portions, all delicious especially the steak tips. It’s quiet and not too busy which was nice but i hope more people discover this gem!
Love their food. Always cooked to order. Fresh and delicious.
This was my second time at Rozafa’s! It is such a sweet little gem of a restaurant. So glad I found it. The food, service and ambiance are great. I have plans with a friend to go again, next week. Third time in three weeks! That, speaks to how great a restaurant it is.
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at the delicious food we had at Rozafa’s Bistro. The French Onion Soup was one the best we have ever had. To my husband’s delight it was piping hot. His stuffed pork chop was excellent. I love lamb chops and they were also delicious and cooked just right. There were four of them. We did not have room for dessert.
The service was very good. We definitely will return to this neighborhood restaurant.
Our waitress was fantastic! Very friendly, knew the food and drink menu well and made great suggestions. The food from appetizers, entree to desert were so delicious .
Great place, good atmosphere and good service! My wife and I had our first date there, and were happy to go back and have another meal. The place hasn't changed much but is a great place to grab dinner.
Had a wonderful dinner at Rozafa! The wine, dinner and dessert was delicious. The chocolate lava cake is a must! Our waitress was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. We will be back!
Friday night date with the wife. The place looked like a ghost town. Service was slow - I ordered the chestnut ravioli $20 special. They were smothered in a tasteless goo cream sauce, the filling - empty, the pasta was spongy all together Horrid. The wife got eggplant tart app as a meal. It was cold and very acidic. They claim to be a scratch kitchen - I can tell you as a chef myself, both meals were made prior and simply reheated. The waitress while always around was distracted and missed obvious things like empty water glasses. The owner came out on the floor to talk to one person who he obviously knew but said absolutely nothing to any other tables. The place was dead, make the rounds and ask how everyone is doing that’s 101 in my book. I understand why there were only a handful of table in the middle of what should be a Friday rush.
Too many excellent establishments out there. I’ll never consider this place again.
Excellent wine selection and delicious food. Cozy, attractive dining and bar area. Will definitely return
We had not been to Rozafa in a couple of years. We sat at the bar Saturday night. We were so happy to see that they now have a full liquor license and they changed their menu. It was excellent. And the prices were very reasonable- a dozen oysters for $22! AND they take reservations!
Was looking for a simple place for Friday night dinner and couldn’t have found a better place. Nice family run atmosphere where you know everything from food to service to drinks is cared about.
Great food and great service!
Solid quality and reasonable prices. Most, if not all dishes, are cooked to order. Nice and attentive service.
We were seated in a corner - very small table. There were other tables available the whole time we were there - no one used them. Also, the table was very wobbly! They put a wedge under it - a little improvement! They could have moved us! I should have said something! Oh well! Live and learn!
We must have been there on a bad night. It took almost an hour to get our food
