We were there for the Mahalo Monday Special, can't beat the value! It was pretty quiet since it was Monday. The service was good, the food was excellent! Definitely will come back.

We regularly dine at this Roy's location. Generally, we love all the special rolls, the ribs, the Crab Fried Rice and can easily make a meal of all the appetizers! When we are in the mood for full entrees, I recommend The Butterfish or Braised Beef, both are is excellent, extremely tasty entrees. Tonight we opted to try the Special Philippine Menu. This menu is AMAZING and I will add an exceptional value. The Pork Belly Skewers were delicious, served with a papaya slaw that was unique. The Braised Pork Shank was incredible, really flavorful and served with haricot verts and scant polenta. It is definitely a meal we will go back to try before this special is removed from the menu!!! The banana fritter with chocolate flan was the perfect amount of sweet to end the experience. Can't review this restaurant location without giving a shout out to her FAVORITE server, Samantha. She rocks!

Overall experience was good but felt service wasn't up to par for this level of restaurant and it's lofty prices.

Entrees were not as good as we'd remembered from years past, but the lobster bisque and chocolate lava cake were delicious.

Went to lunch with my daughter. We both ordered the Taste of the Philippines special. Typically it's only available for dinner, but the chef was gracious to make it for us. Flavorful!Delicious! Nice presentation. Excellent service.

Roy’s is great for us because everyone in my family can eat there. Having one vegan member with two low carb eaters makes it very hard to find a place we can all enjoy. If there was one closer to my house and price wasn’t so high we would eat there once a week.

My husband had the NY strip and he says it was the best steak he has had in Cali. The food was really delicious. They let us sit at the bar area to watch the Thursday night NFL game. I am really surprised at how empty this restaurant was for such a great location. We will definitely be returning.

We have been enjoying Roy's for years. We always celebrate our special occasions with Hawaiian martinis. We have never had a bad experience. The Happy Hour is one of the best in the Valley. Service and food is always wonderful.

We love Roy's, in fact have eaten there three times in September alone. I gave the food a 4 instead of the usual 5 only because there were a couple of dishes that were quite disappointing compared to the rest (we dined on a number of appetizers this time, instead of entrees). The scallop roll is one of the best items on the menu.

Our reservation was for 7:30pm
We came in at 7:25 and were told it will be another 20 to 30 minutes wait.
They sat us down half an hour later at the table next to private dining room with large party. Door kept swinging open and hitting our chairs.
Place was very noisy and unorganized.
They did-offer one free appetizer for the long wait which was not nearly enough for all the inconvenience.
Food was really overpriced and not well cooked.
My macadamian covered mahi mahi was over cooked and dry, my girlfriends sea bass was drenched in butter and definitely was not worth $52 that they charged for it. So we basically left $100 worth of food on the table and hardly touched.
Also, I ordered another appetizer and was tripled charged for it. Due to waiter’s error.
That was fixed but why do you put someone in the position of asking for corrections and have spoiled dinner and date?
Definitely- will not be returning there!!!

Not outstanding. Not bad. Pretty average. I got the four fish sampler which was ok. the Fish were a bit on the dry side. The seared tuna did not stand out compared to seared tuna elsewhere. The crab fried rice was probably the best dish. Again, not outstanding but a good comfort food dish.

Some light bulbs were out in the dining room, and some light fixtures had pieces falling off. My salmon was swimming in a sauce with too much vinegar. Food at Roy's used to be made with attention to detail. If Roy's Woodland Hills doesn't improve their quality control, they should cut their prices by 60%.

We all know the restaurant. The menu is old but it’s good if you just want their simple favorites. The preparation has improved a bit with the most significant upgrade to the Hawaiian Martini. The pineapple is now marinated and frozen giving the garnish a bigger kick.

There was also a noticeable difference with the service. It suddenly felt more rushed. The requests for dinner and desserts came quickly disrupting the dinner conversations. This is an area that could be improved.

Food and service were great. We had a coupon for $40 off and our bill, including tip, was still $75 for one sushi roll, one pork ribs appetizer, one fish trio main course, one cocktail and a diet soda. Without the coupon it would have been around $120! Way too expensive!!

This was not our typical visit to Roy's. It was my birthday and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. Our server paid little attention to us because of a large party in a private room.
Salads came (after a long time) before the appetizers. 2 appetizers never came until we asked. They eventually took them off the bill, but I would have rather received them on time and paid for them. The usual amazing spare ribs were very dry. Should I go on? A manager came by to drop off the late food, but had nothing say to us. Needless to say, it was not the birthday dinner I expected.

We always enjoy Roy's, and specially like to celebrate occasions there. Roy's provides a Special Dessert and takes a complimentary photo of your group. This makes you feel quite SPECIAL.
You can count on the food being fresh and creative. It's our mini trip to Hawaii in-between actually going there.
