Exquisite as always
We have always liked the Roy's in Hawaii but for some reason rarely consider the one in Rancho Mirage. The seafood is some of the freshest and most interesting selection of fish in the valley. Service was excellent and everyone was happy with their choices. No problem to split a side salad. And the ribs were great too. We will return.
Great food, exceptional service. Seated right away.
This is one of my favorite places in The Desert!! Always excellent food! The butterfish is amazing and the desserts are decadent!
I was honestly excited to try this place but I just wasn't that impressed. They have good craft cocktails & appetizers, but everything else was just ok. We order a sushi roll that came out deep fried & HOT (don't remember it saying that on the menu) ....anyway, I thought it was gross...hot sushi? yuck.....service was slow & it took forever to get another drink or have our courses out in a timely manner
Hi, We love to go to Roy's wether in Tampa or Rancho Mirage,it is a favorite of ours, and wonderful June 9th on our 62nd anniversary .Thank You
Doris and Ken Collin
We had an amazing meal and a great server!
We visited on restaurant week where they should be luring in new customers. I have a friend who is a big fan so we tried it. The restaurant week options were not good (first time I have seen that). We bought off the menu, very expensive but not worth the price. You should at least make some effort for restaurant week or don't participate.
The lunch was delicious perfectly prepared and served. Roys made a special birthday desert
Food for restaurant week was ok. Could’ve been better as it is for restaurant week. Our waitress was awesome. She was very attentive and attention to detail.
The service was slow, plates left on our table for 10 minutes + after everyone was finished each course. I asked for the wine list after we had a round of cocktails and no one bothered to come back and take my order for a bottle of wine...which would have been 250.00 or higher. Desert order was given at the beginning of the meal as requested and we still waited 15 minutes between end of entree plates being collected...late...and desert being placed on the table. The food will bring us back because it was great, if we have service like that again it will be the last time we visit Roy’s.
This was the first time I have been a bit disappointed in the food at Roy’s. My seafood entree was tasteless. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I will not order the Mahi Mahi in the future. All other dinners and appetizers were great, as usual.
Food and service were exceptional!
Treated our realtors. I enjoyed the seared ahi, our guests the butterfish and short rib combo. Chef prepared me a plate of shishito peppers! All appies and meals well prepared and elegantly served.
8:15 PM setting, quite atmosphere, food ok, but do not be hungry with the small portions.
this was a great spot, it made the special occasion very special!! would definitely come here again.
WE go to Roy's in Spanish Bay every year. This one in Rancho Mirage is pretty good. Did not have the most attentive waitress this time. But we are picky.
Truly a great restaurant. Our server was engaging, helpful and very attentive. The rest of the waitstaff was also very attentive. The food was perfect. Delicious, fulfilling, interesting, perfectly cooked. etc. They knew it was our anniversary and treated us accordingly including a wonderful, comped dessert with congratulations drawn on the plate in chocolate and a placard on our table before we were even seated. Start to finish a great experience. Would eagerly return and recommend to others.
We had the most amazing dinner with our two young kids, 2 and 9 months! They were so accommodating and brought the kids food out first. Loved our meal and service!
Wonderful attentive service. Everything we ordered was outstanding! They went out of their way to make sure our anniversary was a very special night.
Spencer our Server and the Lady Manager .... TOP OF THE LINE
Tyler was an awesome waitperson!
The sushi roll was excellent.
Gluten free items are not as they appear on the menu.
Our waiter, Dave, was wonderful and we come often and will request him again,
The service was average and while pats of the meal were good (the appetizer and desert) the main course, fish, was well below average. First time at restaurant and was very excited to go there but walked away disappointed.
Dinner was absolutely delicious! We started with a Caesar salad as our appetizer and my mother and I each had the special sea bass that they were offering. That was by far one of the best Sea bass dinners I have had thus far. Our server David was hilarious and made our dinner extra special. Thank you for a fabulous dinner!
Bad service. Messed up order. Cold food.
The food was great, as always but I was disappointed in the service and for the price we paid for dinner, service was mediocre at best. It took at least 15 minutes for anyone to ask if we wanted drinks. When the waitress took our food orders, she said, up front, dinner will take about 20 minutes so we asked for bread and butter. she said Roy's doesn't serve bread and butter. During our meal we saw a table right behind us get bread and butter - what gives? Bread is for special people only? It took another half hour to get another drink order and another bottle of wine. Very disappointed I must say.
As always one always has a good meal at Roys. Consistency is the key to their success. Wait staff is well trained.
We had the most fantastic date night for our last one in Palm Springs -superb service snd delicious food-they totally understood we didn’t want to be rushed. Chris was professional very friendly and provided great recommendations
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night!
I have nothing but good from my first visit to Roy's. Made another reservation for Mom's Day. I expect to get more of the same.
I usually love Roy's but this time they really missed the mark regarding the preparation of the food. The sushi was too warm, the specially made shrimp cocktail was also too warm, the potstickers had been sitting too long so they became doughy and too rubbery, scallops were ok as they could have been a little warmer. The waiter was great. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant so I don't know why the temps were off since it was not a full house. I am hoping this was just a misstep and it was just one of those off days. Give them a try as they are usually VERY good.
Excellent Service Staff. Food quality is very good and creative. Valet Parking Staff are quite good and even opened the Restaurant Door for us. Will definitely return.
Nice restaurant. Excellent service. Somewhat Pricey but you know that going in
We enjoyed our food and the service was great !
My favorite restaurant in the valley. Consistently tasty food, nicely served. Everything I have ordered has been delicious. It is very comfortable, not pretentious but higher end establishment that deserves to be respected by proper dress code, not adhered to often enough. Note to visitors: just because you're on vacation does not mean you should forget about your manners.
Enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
Amazing service...David is the best!
I have been going to Roy's for years. Not just this location. My special occasion place.
All the fish dishes on the menu are delightful. Roy's always good for the blackened Ahi.
This is my first stop every trip to the desert. The hibachi salmon is unlike anything else, and at every other restaurant I try to compare salmon to Roy’s! Get the salmon basically!
