The evening started off with rather slow service. Water and then a 25 minute wait. Finally caught the manager’s eye and from then on service picked up. Waiter was a bit too chatty. Ordered a bottle of wine and then 15 min later the server reported that they were out. Offered us another bottle at the same price. When the food arrived we were pleased with our selections. Butterfish “cod” and seared scallops. Both were well prepared and delicious. So all in all an uneven experience.

We are fairly regular customers and we were glad to take advantage of $25 email coupon. Food and service is normally very good but this time a wonderfully flavored steak came out just slightly warm and my swordfish was almost cool. Server claimed the fish was supposed to be served that way because it had a cold salad with it. No excuses were offered for the steak my date had. She is particular about her food temp so I tasted it and called manager cause I wouldn't have eaten it either. He had both our dinners rewarmed to our satisfaction. Server seemed all-around defensive. Her service with cocktails was slow--she blamed bartender for drinks and cook for food

45 minutes late seating for my reservation. 20 minute wait at bar to get a drink while waiting. Poor service, will not be returning.

Had to wait an hour to be seated and we had a reservation. Very loud - could hear shouting from order bar by someone who was kitchen manager I guess. Food delicious as usual. Service was wonderful considering how busy they were.

Don’t go on Valentine’s Day. Had reservations at 7pm and wasn’t seated for 50 minutes. It was next to impossible to get a bartender to serve you during the wait. Butterfish and steak food entrees, lobster tempura appetizer and key lime dessert were delicious. Salad was lacking - very little dressing and mediocre salad leaves.

Above average restaurant but an absolute zoo on Valentines night! Fish and seafood are always well prepared. Spare rib appetizers are a must. Beef dishes may disappoint.
