La comida riquísima, la decoración sencilla, el público en general, son personas que van a alguna convención. Nos atendieron rápido, tienen una selección adecuada de vinos.
We love Roy's for dinner, but for the second time in a row, when we visited for lunch, the service was poor and the food was average.
Excellent as always
Foods are excellent. Waiter if very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased, my wife too.
Roy's meals are well-prepared, and the overall the food is good. The kitchen at Roy's and service are so slow that by the time the food finally gets there, you are tired of sitting and ready to eat and go. The lobsters pot-stickers, blackened ahi-tuna, and soufflé are all very good.
We usually dine at Roys whenever we are in the Orlando and usually enjoy it here and look forward to the butterfish. Tonight we had a horrible experience. We waited over an hour for our food. Service was slow and they did not even update us about when our food would arrive. Our son did not like his dish and they didn’t even offer to bring his meal out first. So he was very hungry and upset. They even took a long time to give and bill our check. We have been loyal patrons for more than 5 years and after this experience, my husband refuses to go back to Roys Orlando.
We were seriously disappointed with the restaurant. We have eaten at several other Roy's Restaurants over the country. This one simply doesn't measure up on any standard.
Food took way too long to ccome me out
Appetizer took a half hour. No one every came over to our table to let us know what was going on. Not worth the money we paid
Great good ,ribs are great, waitress very good . Main course took almost 30 minutes to table after salad plates were gone . Again waitress was great
The soufflé is second to none! Food was good but soufflé was out of this world!
Great food and restaurant
Dinner with client
Decent place to at lunch. Their lunch plates are great - soup, salad, entree and a dessert cookie.
Restaurant a bit noisy for business discussion but our server David was FANTASTIC. Food was awesome nothing disappointed! Butter fish to die for as well as the pickled veggies that accompanied the salmon.
Great food with exception that we waited 45 minutes for entrees after apps. Took so long we just asked for our entrees to go. Apps were delicious and the entrees did taste good in bed. Perhaps a new dining model?
For the prices, this restaurant is nothing special. The food is simply serviceable but very high priced for what it is.
Amazing food and fantastic service! Will return!!
Birthday. Tuna was not as good as it normally is
Extraordinarily slow paced service
I took my kids for my son Connor’s birthday. The server was exceptional. The food was good. We really enjoyed it.
I always come to Roy's and get the Butterfish!! They only had three desserts, which surprised me and the coffee machine was broke. The fish was great!!
Terrible service. Slow to get the food. It took over 2 hours to get our meal. The manager came over with excuses that he thought was an apology. The waiter kept blaming the kitchen and manager. Apparently he thought blaming everyone else was an apology.
Shocking to see how many people in the restaurant were yelling at the wait staff for such poor service.
Amazing how screwed up this place was.
On a good note. Food was really good when we finally got it.
Terrible experience. Waited over an hour for our entrees. Waiter aggressively tried to upsell us on appetizers and desserts we didn’t want. It’s crazy how poorly this restaurant is run given the extremely high prices they charge. Avoid this restaurant!
Roy's is always a treat. We've been to many of them across the country, this one was no exception. Excellent service, wonderful food, and really great mai-tai.
Been dining at Roy’s since 1996 (Guam Hilton). Not the best experience last evening. The pace of service was slow. Had a 12 plus top next to us that sat down later and had drinks before we saw or waiter for the first time. I think the staff missed table assignments when combining the large table. Waiter was nice enough. Drinks and appetizers came soon enough but our entrees were also slow to come out. The swordfish was a bit overcooked but the reminder of the dishes were more typical for Roy’s and delicious. Will go back again but I’m hoping the service was a one time event.
Top of the class restaurant. If you have an important person you want to share a fabulous meal with, this restaurant is surely the place to go. You will not be disappointed.
My dinner of prawns and udon noodles was wonderful
Unfortunately it was a crowded Monday night and they were unstaffed. It took 40 minuets to get the food. Was offered a free desert as I was paying bill to leave. The offer should have came when the food was delivered.
Food was amazing, however, it was very loud and it was over an hour before we received our meal.... on a good note, the pineapple upside down cake was exceptional!!
Wow, seriously great eats. Food AND service were OUTSTANDING!!! Great attention to detail sets Roy's from the rest. Our server, Eric was AMAZING followed by Ryan and John who were also on point!
Roy’s is one of my favorites. Usually the service is outstanding, but this time borderline.
An all around great meal. The cocktails were both tasty and strong. The food and service were excellent. The quesadillas and crudites for the kids soon after we sat down is a great touch. The desserts were worth the wait. Whenever we are in a city with a Roy's, we try to go there for dinner.
Been to Roy's all over the country - in fact last time was in Maui last May. Usually very good and consistent. This was a major exception. Were seated with our reservation at 7:15...saw our waitress for the first time at 7:25. Ordered two drinks that took 10 more minutes to get. 7:35 -
Ordered a wedge salad, a veggie dish for my wife and the butterfish for me. The Wedge arrived at 8:15 PM (40 minutes after ordering) after the waitress made some excuse that they were specially preparing it... 8:45 still no entrees and I finally decided to talk to the manager. He apologized and made an excuse about having two large parties in the next room. I told him the wait was ridiculous and somehow the food arrived at our table in 2 minutes after talking to him - Fish was really good. He ended up removing all the food from our bill and giving us a $50 gift card and begged us to come back - it was a nice attempt to apologize, but I hate excuses. Won't be returning to Roy's Orlando anytime soon.
We are long-time fans of Roys at all locations (been to original, Waikoloa, Chicago and Orlando).
Our last two visit, we could have had better server response time. We seemed to wait a long time for initial contact from our actual server, as well as several courses, even though the restaurant was not crowded.
Great service from Beth. The food is always great and unique.
This meal was absolutely wonderful! The steak was perfect. The sides were delicious. The atmosphere and service could not hAve been better.
Great waiter. Exceptional
Roy’s was great. I enjoyed everything. Roy’s has become one of my favorite restaurants. I am recommending it to all of my family and friends.
I’m a server myself and was very disappointed in my choice to celebrate Valentine’s Day here. Paid $45 for a steak that honestly looked like a bubba burger patty, I’ve had better $10 steaks. my girlfriend got a NY strip and it looked like a Walmart steak too. I could have gotten past that part but the service was pretty bad, the place was 1/4 full, our server only had one other table and my girlfriend and I felt like we were at the very bottom of her priority list.
