Nothing has improved since our last visit. Food is still good . Staff is not up what the price points require. Staff needs more training on how to address guests and how to serve the food when brought to table. Interior has needed up dating for a long time .. Price points are acceptable .
Roy's Manager and Server did a great job despite the issues plaguing our country right now.
Strangest dining experience I ever had. I’m on their email list, and they sent me a Sunday only special, for a free dessert boat, worth 46 dollars, if you buy 2 entrees. So we go on a Sunday and show our waiter Brian the email...he says you can’t use it with the tasting menu and he thinks we have to spend at least 100 dollars...I replied ok but it doesn’t say anything about a minimum purchase...I don’t bother questioning it any further since we would spend at least that anyway. I then ask if we can replace the pineapple upside down cake on the dessert “boat”, with an additional soufflé, and he replies no problem. After dinner, we are waiting approximately 15 minutes when Brian comes over to apologize that the souffles had collapsed while preparing and that they were making us new ones, but he doesn’t bring the rest of the boat, which included 2 additional desserts, which was odd. So after another 15 minutes, 2 souffles come out and nothing else. A female manager then comes over to apologize for the delay and I explain that we were supposed to get the boat, not just 2 souffles. She explains that there are currently 2 email promotions out and that Brian thought I had the 40 dollar off one, not the dessert boat one, which explains why he said I had to spend a minimum of 100, because that’s a requirement of the other offer, even though I showed him the email. So I tell the manager at this point we’ll take the other 2 desserts to go, considering we had to be up ridiculously early for a flight. She replies that they normally cannot give the desserts to us to go (???) but she will because of the wait...gee thanks. To top it all off, I get the check, which shows the dessert boat charged and then removed and additionally charges me another 28 dollars for 2 souffles, which I have to have Brian then take off the check...the manager offering to give us them to go, like she was doing is a favor, was a complete joke, and Brian telling me that they did us a favor by
Food was a bit salty this time but other than that already a great place! Will be back

Over 8 minutes from being seat to greeted by waiter. Waiter friendly but generally inattentive. Food tasty but very small portions and high priced. Restaurant not very busy.
The appetizers were very good but the entree was not. We waited for over an hour to be served our entrees and when we got them the potatoes were way over done and the steaks were way underdone. My family and I have eaten there many times before and usually it has been a great experience . It was my son's 21st birthday and was my wife's birthday as well. I wish we would have had a better experience than we did.
Creative dishes and excellent chef’s menu. All Fresh seafood and appetizers and rolls were exceptional. Very much like the original Roy’s experience in Hawaii.
We made a reservation for a Special Occasion with my mother for 11 am Brunch in advanced, upon arrival the only employee in the entire restaurant was the cook, whom after 15 minutes took us to the table, at that time we order our meal and we did not bother the cook with beverages or cocktail (my mother love mimosas) and we wait for the server to arrive, which he did after 45 min, and he never acknowledge us, he sat another table and we call for his services asking for at least a cup of coffee, and he did bring them to us but with attitude, that, at the time that he settle them on the table both cups spill, I tried not to get upset because it was my mother special moment, but not even a spoon, we have to use our forks to mix the coffee, used plates were never remove from the table until the time we ask for the check (as you imagine server did not come back), in relation to the food, the vegetables were burn, overcook and salty.
Manager never arrive or if he did, he never acknowledge us.
I thought Roy’s restaurant was a fine restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and is not, I would never recommended, and I would suggest to the owners to have a manager in place to make sure that the have employees during working hours.

Roy's used to be one of our go-tos, but after this visit, I don't plan on coming back. My wife chose this restaurant to celebrate her birthday due in part to a $40 coupon she received via email. We were seated promptly upon our arrival, even prior to our reservation time, but that is where the good part of this visit ends. The booth where we were seated was tattered and torn, it took an exceptional amount of time to be greated by our server, we had to ask for edamame, and were not provided with hot towels to wipe our hands as we were accustomed to from visits past. My wife ordered a mixed drink and I a beer. We ordered an appetizer, a salad to split, a dish from the regular menu, and a dish from your seasonal menu. Our salad did not arrive until after our main course was brought to the table and when we presented the coupon upon paying, were told that management would not honor the coupon due to my wife ordering off the seasonal menu - mind you, the dish she ordered was $49. Nonetheless, we paid our $175 bill, suggested that the manager use the $40 from my coupon to repair the ratty bench seat, and promised never to return as there could be better food, better quality, better service, and better ambiance found elsewhere.
Attentive staff, tasty food, pleasant ambiance and as expected, pricey for quantity.
Chocolate molten soufflé was overcooked. Manager came over and apologized but no compensation offered
Service was rushed. Dated ambiance. My short ribs were very fatty. Cocktail was very small. Not up to Roys standards.
Food & service always good, decor needs refreshing a little dated.
Our experience was horrible, unfortunately our waiter think name “Cathy was to busy to detail to us. I order a glass on wine that took over .30 min., our food actually took over a long time and I didn’t even got my rice. I had to call her after .15 min In order to get my rice that comes with the four seafood plate. It was left at the kitchen table. She went and got it. Worse I told her it was my wife’s birthday and she didn’t hear us or made anything special for my wife Nancy. Last we received a 40.00 off on a purchase of 100.00 plus she told my wife she can’t used that email cause she order a special plate that was 51 dollars. We spend over 139.00 dollars and it wasn’t about the 40 off we were looking for, but sense I love Roys I influence my wife to go have dinner there. I am disappointed to the point we will not returned. I am a local customer with over 50 visits so far to Roy’s never we imagine to be treated like that. We left her no tip hoping she gets the point of how to treat customers even tho at busy times.

Great food, great atmosphere - great service.
We loved Roy's in Hawaii and used to eat at the Roy's in Philadelphia often so when we were in Florida and noticed there was one near our hotel- we quickly made reservations.
We were not disappointed. From start to finish - top notch. Try the bacon & parmesan crusted sea bass - OH MY!
I frequently go to Roys and I was shocked on my last visit. The hostess didn’t open the door for us, both were standing and not busy. We were using our email discount for dinner and made sure we didn’t order any “not valid” with coupon items. However be my husband order a fish dish that didn’t state it was a special pricing dish. (Which I still find that hard to believe, it was $49 just for the entree.) It didn’t come with an appetizer or dessert. However the manager said we couldn’t use our discount, she claims she tried but the system wouldn’t let her. I find that hard to believe and we made sure as we always do to know the exclusions. It wasn’t listed as that on the menu and for her not to honor it was shocking. We will not go back to that location again. Truly disappointed in the quality of Roys that night.
Our server Vicky was AWESOME! She recommended food we probably wouldn't have ordered. The front of house manager came around to check on us. She was great. The food overall was fantastic. We had a great time and we will be back!!! Thanks Roy's Ohana!!!
We enjoyed a lovely meal. Shared sushi and salad before entrees. I always go for the butterfish. I don't mind waiting for great food, but service was a little slow. It was over 30 minute before we received our appetizers. And it was so loud in there, it was sometimes hard to hear each other. We had a later reservation, so by the end the noise level was better.

We visited Roy's a few months ago, and chose it to be where we'll celebrate our 40th anniversary. We were greated with a great smile and Our table was ready, had a nice card and flowers. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We ordered sparking wine and a cocktail, sushi for appetizer (chose the one with mango), entree was their Bass special for that evening, exquisite and delicate tasting. Nice and romantic dinner... Will return for a regular dine out.

After a very rough day at work my amazing dinner at Roy’s was a welcome treat. Butter fish and chocolate soufflé never disappoints! Throw in a couple tasty cocktails and my day suddenly got much better.
The food was fabulous and the pineapple upside down cake was hands down the best I have ever had. Magnificant!
Truly a delicious and outstanding experience. We went for brunch and the food was amazing. Huge selection of drinks that go perfect with brunch. Would highly recommend.

I've been going to Roy's for years now. Today I got the half Ahi Tuna and half Butterfish (which is my all time favorite) but the preparation for the Tuna was not the same and slightly disappointing so I had to order more Butterfish. Service was pretty good but dessert made it for me! The pineapple upside down cake with the coconut ice cream are the stuff of dreams! I left there so satisfied after that dessert...my goodness! Will keep going back and certainly recommend it.
I was excited to introduce my friend to one of my favorite restaurants and while the food was excellent as always, our table was overlooked (delay, no food even after asking about it). When we mentioned it, the manager’s response was swift and we were attended to for the rest of the meal.
Service was awful. Management was dismissive and unconcerned. Will never go back. Not the same restaurant since ownership change.
Food was fine we had the chef’s course and the Chilean sea bass, along with the canoe for two, which is always good, and a couple cocktails. The service however was lacking greatly ... the server which we’ve had before was not very personable and actually took away from the dining experience. Dessert wasn’t to our liking and we asked for a replacement which seemed to garner far more questions than were needed or appreciated on such an already expensive dining bill. The experience wasn’t bad enough to not return but we would definitely request a different server if we get the unlucky opportunity of getting this particular individual as our waiter for a third time.
Very disappointing visit. We have been to Roy’s Orlando many times in the past 8 years when ever we visit the city. We have always enjoyed great service and food. Until now. This visit was underwhelming: the hostess did not seem welcoming, the server seemed bored and uninterested and the service was extraordinarily slow. The sushi appetizer was good but by the time the shellfish sampler got to the table the food was lukewarm and bland. Dinner was saved by the chocolate soufflé which was excellent. The restaurant was not well attended - there were many empty tables on a Saturday night. For these prices I expect exceptional service and hot food. We may not return.
We haven’t been to Roy’s in quite some time and we were excited to go for my birthday dinner. We were put into another room off of the bar which was like a meeting room for private parties. It was not the ambience we were looking for. Secondly, it took forever for our sever to come to the table. She completely forgot my wedge salad. She didn’t acknowledge my “birthday card” on the table till the end of the dinner and never asked us if we wanted the dessert that takes 20/30 min to make. The food was great.... service horrible
First off we were seated in the smallest table and others were seated at larger tables after we arrived.
Our waiter was in a big hurry for us to order.
Food was very good.
Then it got really really loud.

I was disappointed that a set men was instituted in Valentine’s Day. I set the reservation for my son and his girlfriend and he nor I was aware of the change. They planned to choose some inexpensive options but were forced into a 200 set menu. Not okay
