It is a must when in KoOlina.
Everything was perfect. Highly recommend the Pineapple martini, Catapillar sushi, and prime rib.
Very slow service and cold food for all courses they emerald have him down hill
Dining experience was the the usual EXCELLENT.
Server was EXCEPTIONALLY OUTSTANDING - well spoken, very knowledgeable, friendly, polished and professional.
Definitely among the BEST in HAWAII!
Very disappointed with the food value. My wife had the macadamia nut ono or moon fish which was very fishy in taste. I had the braised ribs which were good but really just roast beef. Desserts were very good.
Very Nice. THANK YOU! Service was excellent Do not stop serving the Prime Rib!
People are great here..very friendly, we enjoyed our time.
Great food and decent portion. The chocolate soufflé is to die for.
Outstanding as always. Our group had several meat and fish dishes. All were prepared very well. The cocktails were a good pour. The service was impeccable as always. We keep going to Roy’s whenever we come to islands.
Food and service were excellent. Ambiance is quite awful. Interior is dated and tired and desperately needs a complete overhaul.
Excellent food and service!
This was an unexpected find. Stumbled across it on Open Table while looking for places near the Aulani. Amazing restaurant. Great setting, fabulous food. We sat outside at dusk and loved it. Really impressed and will be back again.
Food and service were excellent as always!
I’m a regular here, bringing different groups of friends, caregivers and it’s always great,l.
This was our last hurrah before moving away from the island and we were not disappointed. From the food (we got salmon, moon fish, and butter fish with the sampler appetizer) to the service (our waiter was very attentive) to the dessert (we got the macadamia tart), everything was amazing. They even made us a little farewell dessert. I was slightly worried from recent reviews saying the service and quality has gone downhill, but maybe their server and/or the chef was just having a bad night? We loved it.
Good service lots of options on menu. Great cocktails.
The service was absolutely fantastic until the end when they forgot to bring our tea. I was hoping to enjoy my dessert with the tea, but we needed to remind the waiter that we had ordered it. I was still wavering between a 4 star or a 5 star because the service really was good. We had the restaurant week menu, and my husband chose the beef brisket and I had the sea bass. They served free edamame which was great, and the appetizers were delicious. The fish entree was tasty, but I wasn't sure what the breaded items were. At first I thought it was more fish, but later found out it was chicken. They were okay. My husband's brisket had a lot of fat. He said it was okay. The pumpkin dessert was great. We enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly people.
Roy’s Ko’Olina provides the Dining Experience you expect to find at a Classic Traditional Roy’s dinner. Exquisite Island Catch and Island Farmed fish prepared in all kinds of unique ways with Asian Fusion side dishes that, of themselves, are worth finishing. The Bar makes great drinks with generous amounts of alcohol. Desert was exceptional even though I was totally full.
We enjoyed dining at Roy's for restaurant week. The service was fast, friendly and excellent. The food and drinks were delicious and the portions were generous. The only drawback to our experience was that we were seated directly next to the musicians on the patio - they were talented and we enjoyed the music but it was so loud that we had a hard time hearing each other and having a conversation.
Parking is easy and service is great, the food is also great. My only issue is that it gets a bit loud depending on the customers or events going on.
Everyone in our party agreed that Roy's Ko'olina - Mililani Honey Mac Nut Rock Shrimp and Roy’s Original Blackened Island Ahi Spicy Soy Mustard was the best. Perfectly delicious was the beautiful ahi and sweet crunchiness of the tender shrimp. Entrees were good size portions as was the complimentary edamame. Although the wait to order was 20 minutes, we had a nice window seat that overlooked beautiful Ko'olina golf course and our water was continuously refilled by a very pleasant young man.
If only there were more days of Restaurant Week to try all the different RW menus at all the Roy's across Oahu. Looking forward to our next visit and our favorite menu items: Roy’s Original Blackened Island Ahi, Smoked Mongolian Spiced Baby Ribs, and Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle.
Order Roy crusted fish Maui it was dry not fresh I know for sure. Return to hotel sick that night. Told waiter the fish was dry. Should have sent it back.
Immediately seated at our reservation time! Service was exceptional! I had the braised short ribs...outstanding! My wife had the salmon; excellent with great flavor!
We always visit Roy’s when near by one!
Exceptional service. Shame about the chicken but the beef brisket was amazing.
Great appetiser and desert as well.
We came back for lunch today.
Thanks for a great evening because of the staff.
Through the years the quality of Roys has gone down. I’ve been dining here atleast 2x a year for the past 8-9 years. For the price point you would think you are paying for the service, ambience and the quality of the food. All of which was very disappointing on my last visit. Took my mom and family here for to celebrate my moms birthday. My dad tried the restaurant week special beef brisket and in each bite, was extremely salty. A visit from the manager was expected, but a manager did not come around. My dad ordered a second dish which was still very meh- the macadamia nut mahi I believe. Still extremely salty. While they made his second dish they gave a complimentary salad to keep him busy, which was nice. There were tomatoes that were obviously overripe. He’s not the type to constantly complain so he kept it to himself and tried to swallow it down. For dessert we were given dirty spoons with chocolate still on back of the spoon. Overall I had high expectations, all of which were sub par. I most likely will not dine at this location again.
Restaurant week menu was great! Chad was our server and he was excellent
Food and service was excellent, the guidance from our waiter in picking the perfect kind of fish was spot on. The crab mashed potatoes might have been the best I ever tasted even though it included fennel which we usually don’t enjoy.
Very nice. There on restaurant week so less expensive. Sea Bass melted in your mouth
Roy's is very good - they have friendly servers who are not stuffy, which I love to find in a more upscale place. They do food well. It is a little pricey, but there are ways to make it manageable - for this meal we ordered two appetizers and dessert - it was plenty!! We ate out on the patio which was a lovely setting - nice to see the pond and waterfall and catch the sunset in the clouds - a little windy, but worth it!
担当の方がとても感じよく、味も美味しかったです。
It was our first time at Roy's. The food was amazing food and the service was superior! I would definitely recommend it and will be going there again!
The prime rib and macadamia nut crusted fish was both delicious and filling! We also got the lava cake and a free anniversary dessert! Highly recommend Roy’s Koolina!
Good food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend
Always a joy to dine at Roy’s in Ko’Olina. Fantastic service , great food,
Excellent food. Really enjoyed the restaurant week 3-course meal. Pricey but excellent
Service was superb but food was disappointing. Willing to try something else. Ordered the seafood quartet and sea bass plate. Definitely had better.
Wow this restaurant is tired. Felt like the dining room of a rest home. Food was good but overpriced (as all Roy’s). I’ve never seen so few people dining in a Roy’s restaurant. Was a little depressing.
Food is well overpriced for its value. Cutlery, plates and glassware should be of superior quality, if you're changing this much for small portions but instead everything was of a poor quality as in a take out restaurant. Not for me. But I know that people rave about it
Food, service, and atmosphere were great! The cost was high, so I wouldn’t say the value was the best, and the people who were seated at the table next to us were very loud, ruining the ambiance. We sat outside overlooking the golf course, which was lovely!
Ordered a salad and the garlic prime rib. Everything was delicious. We ate outside and it was a very nice atmosphere.
Music, dimmer lights and beautiful company.
