Very good appetizers and entrees, but the best was the upside downside pineapple cake. Excellent.
We had a wonderful belated Valentine’s Day dinner. It was a very pleasant experience. Our server, Clifton, did a terrific job and allowed us to take our time and enjoy each step in the meal.
Meal was outstanding. Service is top notch.
60th birthday dinner for my wife. Outstanding dinning experience.
Worst Roy's expereice evre. Took more than 40 minutes for us to get our food. mine was cold and the risotto was undercooked. not going back
My wife and I went to Roy's as a date night out and we loved the Butterfish and the salmon. The Ahi tuna was good, but I didn't care for the mustard sauce with it. All in all, we would go back again.
Exceptional Restaurant! Great Service and fantastic food. One of our favorite restaurants.
Been here in the past for special occasions and wanted to celebrate a special evening with friends. My meal was not up to par with past visits and our server ,although she was attentive she kept interrupting our conversation with service related questions,A bit annoying .Everyone in our party enjoyed the meal although two of us were not happy with our entree and felt it was not as good as we had remembered on past visits.
Our server was amazing. It was our anniversary and they made sure it was a night to remember.
We tried this restaurant last year and had a truly awful experience with a nasty server, however, the food was good. We decided to try it again on Valentines Day while vacationing in Scottsdale this year. We made reservations for four with open table. We were contacted by the restaurant to confirm the day before. Because I have food allergies I always pick my food out from an online menu before visiting a restaurant with friends so I can easily order. We saw there was a Valentine Pre Fixe Menu, however, no where on the web site, on the reservation site or in the restaurant confirmation was it stated that this would be the only menu offered for thee evening . We had drinks at the bar and were seated at 8:00 and then notified this was the only menu. I informed the server that I could not eat most of the items on the pre fixe menu and asked for some reasonable changes based on their usual menu. I was told it was the pre fixe or nothing . It was too late to go elsewhere, especially on Valentines Day. I asked the server to see what the kitchen could do for me after having to explain my allergies in front of everybody. She returned from the kitchen and said they could do nothing. So on Valentines Day I sat eating nothing while my husband and our friends uncomfortably ate their meal, of which they had uneaten items that they did not want. The finale to the evening was the bill was completely itemized as a usual bill not a pre fixe. I have never had a restaurant refuse to attempt to accommodate me and in today’s awareness of allergies this is unacceptable. I will never set foot in a Roy’s restaurant again as I was embarrassed in front of friends and left hungry on what was suppose to be a fun and special evening.
Amazing butterfish and steak!!!! Valentine’s Day was so busy but service was quick and we were seated on time.
The filets were flat and dry
We have eaten at Roy’s in many locations and must say this was not the same experience. Service was not at their level nor the food or setting. It was fine but for the price it would not be one we would repeat.
We had a birthday dinner with family. It was our first time at. this Roy’s location. All was as expected, outstanding. We were familiar with the regular menu items. There were a number of special chef creations. We were not disappointed. Be sure to advise them of a birthday celebration to get a special desert.
Wonderful, accommodating, professional staff serving formula food.
I wanted to go someplace where we could have a cozy, relaxed but professional atmosphere, were the service was spot on and the food was interesting as well as delicious. I wanted to feel special because Sunday was our 24th anniversary. All this happed for us. Thanks Roy's Desert Ridge.
Just ok. It’s just another chain in a resort. Our server was friendly and enjoyed dining outside in February but it took forever to get our cocktail and the food was mediocre. Way better options in the area.
Horrible from start to finish! Host told us very busy? Sat us at horrible table switched to bar which was empty! Service none! bartender poured 1st glass of wine & we poured the rest? Bartender was more interested in doing his chores? Will never eat at the Roys again, not what Roys stand sfor??????
We went for our anniversary dinner. Food was excellent and service was superb!
Wonderful food and ambiance for our friends from NJ
