Always excellent, service was great and the food was delicious. The cappuccino was one of the best I've had in a very long time. The staff all wear masks and the outdoor, socially distanced seating kept everybody safe.
Our server was amazing & super accommodating. Our favorite place to go for a girl’s night outing
Great dinner and service
Always a quality meal and very attentive service. Great job Roy's team
We were disappointed in the entree portions of the fish which were about half the size of what we have been served in the past and a bit more expensive.
Wonderful service and great suggestions by server. Timing of bringing out drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert was great timing. Enjoyed our food selections.
Food was great! Daniel our waiter was amazing! Best service we’ve had in a long, long time!
The double Lobster @ $44 is outstanding. We split and my wife gets the chocolate desert.!! ;)
Fantastic!! Service and Food was amazing!! Would highly recommend.
Everything was perfect for our 37th wedding anniversary dinner.
A perfectly executed romantic dinner for our 11th anniversary. My wife ordered the Salmon and I went with the Ribeye. The Hawaiian touch to both dishes was done to perfection and brought us back to our time where we lived on the Big Island. Our service was too notched as we were spoiled with champagne and a desert on the house. Thanks for the memorable experience…we’ll be back.
AMAZING!!! Our party of 5 was seated on time for our reservation, server was attentive and knowledgeable, and the food was incredible andcooked to perfection: filet & lobster, butterfish, halibut and ahi. Highly recommend the lobster potstickers. Didn’t care for the lobster bisque in curry coconut sauce, too spicy. Would have liked more options for dessert. Overall a wonderful experience. Sat outdoors from 6:30-8:30 pm, it was warm but comfortable.
Food was delicious, as always.
Excellent food and service. Daniel was outstanding
Service was great. Meritage ambiance was better, but expected more from Roy's. Got the sampler fish plate, served on a hot plate so everything was hot and should not have been. Pineapple upside down cake was a huge disappointment, tasted like sawdust. Would not recommend dining here.
The bill was calculated wrong. Went back the next day to clarify and rectify the bill. The manager was dismissive and blamed the computer system. The dinner party was for nine people, and close to $900.00. The bill still has not been fixed. Will have to go to a third party for the refund.
We are familiar with Roy’s in Hawaii and our expectation was probably thinking it would have been similar. It was not. It seems the earlier COVID shutdown took its toll. The ambience was a bit worn. Lights burned out a big portable tv sitting in a dingy mostly unlit entrance. Tableware a bit worn and wine glasses looking a bit worn. And not highly polished. The service was outstanding and the food very nicely done. The decor and atmosphere seemed a bit worn out. Still worth a visit just don’t expect high end dining.
Roy’s is always good…….the fish and vegetables are fresh and perfectly cooked. The service is outstanding
Incredible all around!!
Great restaurant. We had a large group, and unfortunately two of the sea bass entrees came out cold.
The food was good. But a few of our hot apps on the appetizers canue were barely warm. My wife's salmon was pretty beat up and presentation was lacking. It's no comparison to Roy's in Waikiki.
Food was just ok. It was very busy and we waited long between appetizers and dinner. Our server was great but the meals weren’t good and I would not go back.
Great for Anniversary. Tommy, our waiter, was awesome!
I have never had a mahi-mahi that dry. Was so bad.
Great food n drinks we it’s a good happy hour menu. Clayton was our waiter and was engaged and warm. We love the casual atmosphere without being rushed out. Can’t wait to return!
Lobster Potstickers and Twin tail Lobster followed by Chocolate lava cake made it quite a meal
Went to Roy’s to get engaged! The people that work at Roy’s were so helpful made this the experience of a lifetime
The waiter was nonexistent. As it was two women, I had to wonder if he was just terrible or if was a sexist thing. Also, the food was a disappointment. My Sea Bass was small and thin. Usually a piece of Bass, that runs over $50, is thick and juicy. This seemed to be the tail end. While my sister’s scallops were lovely, my meal was really disappointing. I would have gotten better at PF Chang’s, and that is no compliment. Sad that both Roy’s and the Marriott didn’t have better quality control or waitstaff.
Great place to take a date. Keep up the good work. 👍🏼
there's no knocking the food here - the shrimp and mushroom tempura is just the best appetizer, and all of our entrees ( one sushi, one shrimp/soba noodle, one sea bass were great. chocolate lava cake also yummy and perfect for 3 to share. But our service this evening was soooooo slow! It was fine once our order was in, but I think our waitress forgot about us between bringing the wine and taking the order. We also had to replenish our own wine pours - the food was delivered, then we were promptly forgotten.
Great fish and fantastic service. They did a great job with a large party and some indecisive diners. Would definitely go again
We absolutely loved our dining experience last evening at Roy’s. The food and service was beyond belief. I wish the Roy’s in our hometown had not closed however this just made last night dining experience all the better. Terrific!
Terrible service. Did not refill iced tea through 1.5 hrs dinner. Water was e
Empty. Observer bolt came back to drop off check. We had to look for him to take our bill and was annoyed.
Service was terrible. We waited almost an hour to be seated after making an 8pm reservation. Host staff informed us that the manager purposely allowed overbooking the reservation system. We had to demand to see the manager to voice our displeasure.
Outstanding scallops and black rice and Ahi was perfect
Appetizer ribs are incredible.
We were seated quickly and our waitress was really great. I had the butter fish along with a kobe beef and crab roll. my husband had the filet. We ate outside and everything was wonderful.
The service was great the food was amazing
We have been here several times and have always been very pleased with the experience.
