I decided to try the meal you were promoting.... because my wife and had visited Singapore. The waiter did not have high marks for my selection.... and I did not find him as being one of my outstanding waiters.
My family tried other meals. All were happy with their decision.... including me.
Great !!! Service was very kind nice just seemed they could be more attentive
Great food great waiters!we will be back and bring our friends
Roy’s is a favorite. Excellent food and service. Worth the $$$
Kim was our waitress and she was so great at helping us with the specials!
The staff were amazing. Very friendly experienced waiter and the other staff were also very friendly. The food was fresh and delicious.
We consider Roys our "go to" location for special events. While a bit pricey, the service and quality are always excellent.
Great place for dining.
My second time eating here and was not as impressed as the first time...the filet mignon had an overpowering sauce and the butterflish was also overpowered with sauce... Not as good as I had anticipated....
OUR WAITER, PATRICK, WAS EXCELLENT. MY WIFE AND I HAD THE HALIBUT AND MAHI-MAHI. BOTH WERE VERY GOOD. AS A SIDE WE HAD THE LOBSTER FRIED RICE AND IT WAS ONLY OK.
ROY'S IS ALWAYS A GOOD CHOICE.
Great anniversary dinner.
Birthdays for both of my neighbors and special friends
Roy's is always a great experience and the food is amazing. I recommend this place to everyone.
Loved it—food, service, ambience, bar
New Year’s Eve
New Years Eve dinner and they were very busy. Dinner was great and service was good considering how busy it was in the dining room.
12-31-19 great food and perfect for dinner before going out for New Year’s eve.
This was the worst Roy’s that we have visited , toilets were leaking, chairs are old and need to be replaced and restaurant requires an overall cleaning and face lift.
Food preparation for this New Year Eve Prix Fixe was a disaster. Completely cold Filet Mignon was served with rare interior. Seared Scallops were served with mixed vegetables - seemingly coming out of a frozen bag without taste. Lukewarm Lobster Bisque soup and almost cold appetizers too! Too many issues with our meals indicate serious problems in the kitchen. I will not step into this restaurant ever again. It is not the same Roy's that I have come enjoy and respect in the past.
Food and service was up to par Roy’s standards. Prices were inflated vs normal for New Years.
Simply awesome! Food, service and overall!
We are at Roy’s in Chandler, AZ. We have rated at Roy’s on Oahu and the Big Island. The mai tai was just okay. It was too pineapple-y and less rummy for my husbands taste. I had a martini with a lychee in it. It was great. Both my husband and I ordered the lobster, shrimp, scallops trio. All the seafood was seasoned and cooked properly. I only wish it came with one or two more scallops; one scallops isn’t enough for the price. My eldest son ordered a chefs special that was super spicy. He said it would be better with no spice and instead a coconut sauce. That would be more fitting with the spirit of Aloha. Overall, we would go back. Our server Chase was great.
This is our go to place for family celebrations but this time around we found the service to be lacking, took forever to get our drinks and also a long time for the server to take our order. Food was good but not quite up to the usual standard.
When you start off with a "No" as in "No" Moscow Mules because we got no Ginger Beer... That's probably be an indication of what to expect... The edamame looked like it had been soaking since last week... Then you get the main course before your salads... Fish doesn't keep under a heat lamp... I think our waiter just forgot we were there!! It's probably going to be awhile before we venture out to Roy's
Spent our first night as newly weds at Roy’s Restaurant for Christmas dinner. Kitchen service was terrible. We ordered the pre-fixed meal and waited for over 25-min for our starter. My husbands pot-stickers were cold so I let him share my soup because we were hungry. It took another 25-min.. after finishing our starters to receive our second course.
In my opinion the waiter did his best to disappear as much as possible to avoid us. When he did check in, he was unable to provide us a time as to when to expect the next dish. At this point we thought a manager would at least stop by and chat with us in more detail on what’s going on with the kitchen staff but at no point did the person in the -red jacket- even greet us, offer bread, or a complimentary drink..nothing!
Most would say, “but it was Christmas night.” My response, Christmas is every year, no excuses.
Second I'm here and I want to like this place it is clean fairly quiet well stuffed not too bright Outdoors has lot of places with fire which I do like. There was an issue with the food those taken care of in the most professional in courteous way. I will be making reservations again in the future the best heard about the evening was they did not mind if we hung out for a while second I'm here I want to like this place it is clean fairly quiet well staffed not too bright Outdoors has a lot of places with fire which I do like. Overall the taste and quality of the food was excellent. One dish was served that was not up to temperature and had to be returned. Also our reservation was for 6:45--we were not seated until almost 7:30, and the time from ordering to service was also quite long.
It was great they were open for Christmas!
Our fourth Christmas dinner at Roys. Entire experience gets better every year!
Uncharacteristically chaotic. Entrees were excellent but app and deserts were marginal.
Has been going down hill for some time now..After having dinner there on December 25th at 4:30 p.m. totally was the last time. We also canceled our reservations for 10 people on December 31st because the food, staff and management has become sub standard in my opinion. Doubt I will get a response.
Great option for Holiday Menu including some of Roy's Favorites like Mahi Mahi
Excellent service and food quality.
Pricing expensive , but a nice treat during the holidays.
Absolutely our FAVORITE restaurant to dine at. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Taking some friends there again this month.
Our dinner was excellent along with the service. Roy’s is my new favourite restaurant
It was magical from the beginning. Service was superb as well as the food. Can’t wait to go back and try their normal menu items.
Celebrating Christmas with friends. Staff were wonderfull! The chateaubriand was amazing!
My husband and I dined at Roy’s on Christmas Day. It had been over a year since we were last there. When we arrived, the three young ladies at the check-in desk weren’t the least bit interested in greeting us as they were involved in personal conversation. The young lady who escorted us to our table laid the menus down, turned and walked away. No “enjoy your meal”, “Merry Christmas”. We were nervous about what our experience might be. The restaurant was busy and there was an extended wait until our waiter acknowledged us. However, once he did the remainder of our dining experience was wonderful. Service was attentive. Food was excellent! We will definitely return sooner rather than later! Perhaps an inservice for those individuals who first come into contact with customers would be beneficial.
Always enjoy always vegetarian. And fishes my husbands favorite
Christmas Eve dinner with my 2 daughters.
